Southoe and Midloe is a small civil parish in Cambridgeshire, England. The parish lies approximately 6 miles (10 km) south-west of Huntingdon. The parish comprises the small village of Southoe and the even smaller settlement of Midloe. The two settlements are situated within Huntingdonshire which is a non-metropolitan district of Cambridgeshire as well as being a historic county of England.

St Neots Common is a 33.4-hectare (83-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in St Neots in Cambridgeshire.This site on the east bank of the River Great Ouse has grassland, willow carr, ditches and ponds, which support diverse wildlife species. The grassland is traditionally maintained by grazing, and herbs in wetter areas include marsh orchids and marsh arrow grass.There is access to the site from the road called The Common.

St Neots was a rural district in Huntingdonshire, England from 1894 to 1974, around the northern and eastern sides of the urban area of St Neots. The district had its origins in the St Neots Rural Sanitary District. This had been created under the Public Health Acts of 1872 and 1875, giving public health and local government responsibilities for rural areas to the existing Boards of Guardians of Poor Law Unions.Under the Local Government Act 1894, Rural Sanitary Districts became Rural Districts from 28 December 1894, and rural sanitary districts which straddled county boundaries were to be split so that separate rural districts were created for the parts in each county. Generally, the Huntingdonshire part of the St Neots Rural Sanitary District became the St Neots Rural District, whilst the Bedfordshire part became the Eaton Socon Rural District. As an exception to this rule, the Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire County Councils agreed that the parish of Swineshead, despite being in Huntingdonshire, would be included in the Eaton Socon Rural District as it was surrounded by Bedfordshire parishes. Similarly, the parish of Tilbrook in Bedfordshire was included in the St Neots Rural District as it formed a long salient sticking out from Bedfordshire into territory almost surrounded by Huntingdonshire. The county boundary was changed two years later to match the boundary which had been agreed for the Rural Districts, with Swineshead becoming part of Bedfordshire and Tilbrook part of Huntingdonshire on 30 September 1896.St Neots Rural District was expanded in 1935 by taking in Covington parish from the disbanded Thrapston Rural District. In 1965 Huntingdonshire and the Soke of Peterborough merged to form Huntingdon and Peterborough. In 1974 the district was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972 and became part of the non-metropolitan district of Huntingdon, subsequently renamed Huntingdonshire. A small area was transferred to Bedfordshire.

Eaton Ford is an area of St Neots, Cambridgeshire, England. It is a mainly residential area also containing Riverside Park, a large area of riverside parkland. Much of the housing stock dates from the period of London overspill during the 1960s and subsequently. The former village green is still in place. Eaton Ford lies in the area bounded by the River Great Ouse, Duloe Brook in the south, the A1 road to the west, and the River Kym in the north. The small marshy island in the Great Ouse at the confluence of the Kym is included.Eaton Ford is approximately 81 km (50 mi) north of London. Historically Eaton Ford was in Bedfordshire; it was transferred to Cambridgeshire in 1974.

Duloe is a hamlet in the English county of Bedfordshire. A former spelling of the name may be "Devylho" or "Deuylho", as seen in 1460, in a legal record.Administratively it is part of the civil parish of Staploe that, in turn, forms part of the Borough of Bedford. The nearest town is St Neots two miles to the east over the border into Cambridgeshire.

St Neots is a town and civil parish in the Huntingdonshire district of Cambridgeshire, England. It is 18 miles (29 km) west of Cambridge. The areas of Eynesbury, Eaton Ford and Eaton Socon form part of the town. The town centre lies on the eastern bank of the River Great Ouse. The town is close to the A1 road (north-south) and the A421 / A428 roads which link Cambridge to Bedford and Milton Keynes. St Neots railway station is on the Great Northern route between London and Peterborough. St Neots had a population of 33,410 in 2021. The town is named after the ninth century monk Saint Neot, whose bones were brought to St Neots Priory from Cornwall in around 980 AD, resulting in pilgrims visiting in large numbers. Before the founding of the priory the area had been part of the parish of Eynesbury. As the town around the priory grew it became a separate parish of St Neots in the twelfth century. The two were administratively reunited in 1876 when Eynesbury was absorbed into St Neots. The town was historically in the county of Huntingdonshire, and the county boundary with Bedfordshire followed the Great Ouse through the town. In 1965 the Eaton Socon and Eaton Ford areas on the west bank of the river were transferred to St Neots. At the same time Huntingdonshire became part of the short-lived county of Huntingdon and Peterborough, which was abolished in 1974 when the area was absorbed into Cambridgeshire.

Eaton Socon Football Club is a football club based in St Neots, England. They are currently members of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One and play at River Road, St Neots.

St Neots Museum is a local museum located in St Neots, within the Huntingdonshire District of Cambridgeshire, England.The museum is housed in the Old Court, a former police station and law court building on New Street. It presents the history of the market town of St Neots on the River Ouse, from prehistoric times onwards. The museum includes the original 1907 cell block where prisoners were detained, which is now the location for 'Jailbreak', a highly successful Escape Room which opened in April 2018, and is due to start its third season in May 2019.
