Chapel House, now No. 15, Montpelier Row, Twickenham, is a house in Greater London, England. The house has also been called Tennyson House and Holyrood House. It was occupied at one time by Alfred Tennyson, and poet Walter de la Mare lived in the same row nearly a hundred years later. The house was owned for many years by musician Pete Townshend, principal songwriter of The Who.

Orleans Park School is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Twickenham area of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, England. It is situated 10 miles south-west of central London.

Orleans Club Ground was a cricket ground in Twickenham, London (formerly Middlesex). The first recorded match on the ground was in 1878, when the Orleans Club played I Zingari. The ground held its first first-class match during the same year when the Orleans Club played the touring Australians. Between 1878 and 1883, the ground held four first-class matches, the last of which saw the Orleans Club play Oxford University. This was the last recorded match held on the ground. Today defunct, the ground would have been located near to Orleans Road in Twickenham.

Sandycombe Lodge is a Grade II* listed house at 40 Sandycoombe Road, Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. In the picturesque-cottage style, it was designed and built in 1813 by the artist J. M. W. Turner (1775–1851) as his country retreat and as a home for his father William (1745–1829). Turner lived there from 1814 to 1826. Originally known as Solus Lodge, it is the only surviving building designed by Turner, and shows the influence of his friend Sir John Soane. The appearance of the house had been much altered by the addition of second floors to the original side wings.When it was built, Twickenham was rural, as can be seen in the engraving Sandycombe Lodge, Twickenham, Villa of J. M. W. Turner (1814) that was engraved by W. B. Cooke after William Havell and is now held at Tate Britain.Since the sale of Sandycombe Lodge in 1826 by Turner, it has had several owners. The house was used as a factory to produce airmen's uniforms during the Second World War. The vibrations from the heavy machinery caused damage to the staircase and ceilings of the house. The house was bought by Professor Harold Livermore and his wife Ann in 1947, and they created the Sandycombe Lodge Trust (now Turner's House Trust) in 2005. After Livermore's death in 2010, the house was left to the Trust to be preserved as a monument to Turner.Many of the house's original features survived, but it needed major restoration work and redecoration. Turner's House Trust sought to raise funds to restore the house, remove Victorian additions and return it to its appearance in Turner's day. In January 2015 it was announced that the Trust was to receive a grant of £1.4 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund to enable this work to take place. The year-long renovation, costing £2.4 million, started in March 2016. The restoration of Turner's House is now complete and the house is open to the public; visitors can experience Turner's House as he lived in it, and learn the fascinating stories behind the conservation of this important historic house.

Orleans House was a Palladian villa built by the architect John James in 1710 near the Thames at Twickenham, England, for the politician and diplomat James Johnston. It was subsequently named after the Duc d'Orléans who stayed there in the early 19th century. By the early 20th century it was derelict and in 1926 it was mostly demolished. However, parts of the property, including a baroque octagonal room designed by architect James Gibbs, were preserved. The octagon room and its service wing are listed Grade I by Historic England and, together, with a converted stable block, are now the Orleans House Gallery, a gallery of art relating to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and neighbouring areas of London.

Amyand Park Chapel is a Reformed Baptist church on Amyand Park Road in St Margarets, near Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It is a Bible-preaching church, committed to the gospel, and has its heritage in reformation and Baptist teachings. The church was founded on 18 October 1889, first meeting in an economical "iron church" structure. The current building was opened in 1952, with the Rev.Martyn Lloyd-Jones of Westminster Chapel preaching at its dedication service. The church's ministry continues today in a number of ways, with weekly worship services and prayer meetings, Sunday school and children's clubs, and special events. Its current pastor is Gerard Hemmings.

Yelverton Lodge is an 18th-century hunting lodge on Richmond Road, Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Situated opposite Marble Hill Park and Marble Hill House, it was acquired for Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, who was a mistress of King George II.

St Margarets railway station, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in south-west London, is in Travelcard Zone 4. It was opened by the London & South Western Railway on 2 October 1876 on the existing line from Waterloo to Windsor. It is a minor stop, 10 miles 66 chains (17.4 km) down the line from Waterloo. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South Western Railway. The station entrance is at the east end, nearer to London. The station is sometimes shown as St Margarets (London) to differentiate it from the station of the same name in Hertfordshire.

Twickenham Studios (formerly known as Twickenham Film Studios) is a film studio in St Margarets, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, that is used by various motion picture and television companies. It was established in 1913 by Ralph Jupp on the site of a former ice rink. At the time of its original construction, it was the largest film studio in the United Kingdom.In February 2012, it was announced that due to the studio going into administration, it would close before June, just a year before its centenary. The studio was subsequently saved from closure, with a new owner acquiring the studio in August 2012.The studios were acquired in February 2020 by The Creative District Improvement Co. with backing from British Airways Pension Fund and TIME + SPACE Studios as operator on a long lease to run the studios.

The White Swan is a Grade II listed public house at Twickenham Riverside in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.It was built in the 18th century, and the architect is not known.

The Church of St Margaret of Scotland, also known as St Margarets Catholic Church, is a Roman Catholic church on St Margaret's Road in St Margarets, Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The parish was created in 1936. The church building was designed by the architect Austin Winkley who was an influential architect of the Liturgical Movement. It opened in 1969. In 1999 it became a Grade II listed building.The church is named after the 11th-century English Saxon princess who became Queen of Scotland when she married Malcolm III and who was canonised by Pope Innocent IV in 1250.Mass is held on Saturday and Sunday evenings and every morning except on Thursdays.

Marble Hill House is a Neo-Palladian villa, now Grade I listed, in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was built between 1724 and 1729 as the home of Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, who lived there until her death. The compact design soon became famous and furnished a standard model for the Georgian English villa and for plantation houses in the American colonies.
