Neshaminy Falls station

Neshaminy Falls is an unincorporated community in Bensalem Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. Neshaminy Falls is located in the northwestern part of the township southwest of Bristol Road. It is served by the Neshaminy Falls station on SEPTA's West Trenton Line.The community derives its name from Neshaminy Creek, a Native American name purported to mean "double stream".

Neshaminy Mall is a 1,025,297-square-foot (95,253 m2) shopping mall located at U.S. Route 1 and Bristol Road in Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania. The mall was opened in 1968 and was the sixth interior mall constructed in Greater Philadelphia. The Neshaminy Mall is anchored by Boscov's and AMC Theatres and has 65 shops and eateries including a food court that was opened in 1989 and retailers including Barnes & Noble and Foot Locker.The Neshaminy Mall is directly across Bristol Road from Belmont, a historic home. The mall was named after the nearby Neshaminy Creek and features a unique fountain, which features of a waterfall, trees, plants and a statue of Tawanka who was a leader of the Lenni Lenape Native American tribe. The world "Neshaminy" comes from the Lenni Lenape tribe's language. In the 2010s, the mall saw an increased vacancy rate.

Belmont is a historic home located at Bensalem, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1850, and is an "L"-shaped, 2 3/4-story, stuccoed stone dwelling in the Greek Revival style. It has a hipped roof and features a one-story, wraparound verandah. The home was built for mill owner Paul Townsend on a farm property in 1850 and owned until his death in 1890. The home is across the street from Neshaminy Mall on Bristol Road. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Trevose, also known as the TVO(tee,vee,oh), is a census-designated place within Lower Southampton Township, while the entire community of Trevose within and beyond the CDP is in both Bensalem and Lower Southampton Townships in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States, which is north of and borders northeastern Philadelphia. Trevose was formerly part of Feasterville-Trevose, but was split into two separate CDPs for the 2010 census. U.S. 1 runs through the town as well as the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but Trevose's main road is Brownsville Road, which is the dividing line between the two townships. As of the 2010 census, Trevose had a population of 3,550.The community is named after the home of settler Joseph Growden and itself after Growden's homestead in England (Growden was Cornish; Trevose is from the Cornish word Trenfos for farm.).

[[ ]] Concord Park is a residential neighborhood in the Trevose section of Bensalem Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, originally established as an intentional racially integrated community in 1954 by Morris Milgram, a pioneering social activist and civil rights trailblazer who believed Black people should have the same access to housing as whites.Concord Park Homes were "the first planned open occupancy homes for sale by a builder determined to build only integrated housing; 139 three and four-bedroom homes were sold and occupied by 55 percent white families and 45 percent Negro families." Some of the early homeowners included interracial couples, communists, and other nonconformists.The community's origin and history were featured at Bensalem Township's 325th anniversary in 2017 at Growden Mansion and on the Mayor's Show.

The station has off-street parking and a handicapped-accessible platform, however SEPTA has recently announced that they've expanded the number of parking spaces to 219. In FY 2013, Trevose station had a weekday average of 283 boardings and 275 alightings.The previous station depot at Trevose was built in 1888 by the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad. The former station house was torn down in March 1970 and replaced with a small shelter to protect commuters from the elements.

The area has been separated into two CDPs in the 2010 census, Feasterville and Trevose. The Feasterville-Trevose CDP referred to by the U.S. Census Bureau encompasses a portion of Lower Southampton Township, but other sections of the township to the west and south are commonly considered parts of Feasterville, while the community of Trevose extends into Bensalem Township. Lower Southampton Township to the north and is serviced by the Langhorne Post Office. The CDP is actually a relatively densely populated residential area between the two communities' central business districts.

The mansion sits along the Neshaminy Creek in Bensalem, a township that borders the northeast section of Philadelphia, in the northeastern United States.

Benjamin Rush State Park is a 275-acre (111 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The park is undeveloped and is the site of community gardens, believed to be one of the largest in the world. The park is home to the Northeast Radio Controlled Airplane Club. Benjamin Rush State Park is in Northeast Philadelphia at the intersection of Southampton Road and Roosevelt Boulevard (U.S. Route 1). The northern boundary of the park is formed by Poquessing Creek. There are several acres of woodlands along the creek bank. A proposal map show plans to connect the park with Fairmount Park. Other proposed improvements included hiking trails, parking facilities, and a reforestation project. The community gardens and airfield for the radio-controlled aircraft would remain.
