Jericho Village Historic District

The Truman Galusha House, also called the Truman Galusha Mansion and "Fairview" in various historical documents and maps, is a Federal-style house in Jericho, Vermont, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 as the Galusha House, qualifying for designation based on its "architectural excellence" and the association of its early owners with important early governors and other key leaders involved with the creation of the state of Vermont. It was built in 1790, and is named for the son of an early Vermont governor, Jonas Galusha. The house is located at the top of a large sloping lawn at the junction of Vermont Route 15 and Lee River Road at the entrance to Jericho Corners Village in the village of Jericho, Vermont, which is near Burlington. It was completely restored in 1982, and is privately owned.

The Old Red Mill and Mill House are a historic 19th-century mill building and residence on Red Mill Drive in Jericho, Vermont. The mill was built in 1856 and enlarged later in the 19th century, accommodating then state-of-the art grain rollers, and was a prominent local business. The house was built in 1859, and is a good local example of Gothic Revival architecture. The mill is now a museum property of the local Jericho Historical Society. The mill building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972; the listing was expanded to include the house in 1976.

It is accredited by the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges and by the Vermont Department of Education. Mount Mansfield Union High School is part of the Mount Mansfield Modified Union School District, and serves students from Jericho, Underhill, Richmond, Huntington, and Bolton.U.S. News ranked MMU as the best high school in Vermont, both public and private. In April 2017 it was ranked as the third best high school in Vermont and at number 893 in the nation. MMU has also been cited by BusinessWeek as being the "best high school in Vermont" and "among the best in New England", based on academic performance and standardized test scores.

The Jericho Center Historic District encompasses much of the central village of Jericho, Vermont. Centered on the town green at the meeting point of Brown's Trace, Varney Road, and Bolger Hill Road, the center (not to be confused with the incorporated village of Jericho) is a well-preserved Vermont country village developed mainly in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Martin Chittenden House is a historic house on Vermont Route 117 in Jericho, Vermont. Built in the 1790s, it is one of the highest-style Federal period houses in Chittenden County, with a distinctive brickwork exterior and numerous unusual interior features. It was built by Thomas Chittenden for his son Martin, both of whom served as Governor of Vermont. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Army Mountain Warfare School (AMWS) is a United States Army school located at the Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vermont to train soldiers in mountain warfare, the specialized skills required for operating in mountainous terrain. It is home to the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The school is located in Vermont's Green Mountains.

Camp Ethan Allen Training Site is a Vermont National Guard installation located in Jericho, Vermont. It is the location of the Army Mountain Warfare School and the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. It was looked at as a future location for a proposed missile battery until 2013. At the camp is a fifty caliber machine gun range, the only one in New England. The installation is named for Revolutionary War patriot Ethan Allen.

Mount Mansfield Modified Union School District (MMUUSD), formerly the Mount Mansfield Union School District #17, is a school district headquartered in Jericho, Vermont.It is the district farthest east in Chittenden County, Vermont. There are approximately 2600 students enrolled in the district.Each town in the district has its own elementary school, which serves K-4th grade. Students from Huntington, Bolton and Richmond attend Camels Hump Middle School. Those from Jericho and Underhill attend Browns River Middle School. Both middle schools serve grades 5-8. The district's high school is Mount Mansfield Union High School, located in Jericho, which takes students graduating from both middle schools, and serves grades 9-12.

Underhill Flats is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the towns of Underhill and Jericho, Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in northeastern Chittenden County, in the western part of the town of Underhill and the northern part of the town of Jericho. It sits in the valley of The Creek where it flows into the Browns River, which forms the southern border of the CDP. The Browns River is a west- and north-flowing tributary of the Lamoille River, in turn a tributary of Lake Champlain. Vermont Route 15 passes through Underhill Flats, leading north 11 miles (18 km) to Cambridge and southwest 3 miles (5 km) to Jericho. Underhill Center is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to the southeast via River Road, and Burlington, the state's largest city, is 17 miles (27 km) to the west-southwest.

The Chittenden-6-3 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Chittenden-6-3 District includes all of the Chittenden County town of Westford and part of the town of Essex defined as follows: that portion of the Town of Essex bounded by the centerline of the road from Curve Hill at the Colchester Town line, then to Lost Nation Road, then northerly on Old Stage Road to Towers Road, then continuing easterly to Brown's River Road to Weed Road, then easterly on Jericho Road to the Jericho town line. The rest of Essex is in Chittenden-6-1 and Chittenden-6-2. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Chittenden-6-2 District had a population of 4,264 in that same census, 5.05% above the state average.
