Nofit (Hebrew: נוֹפִית, lit. Scenic) is a community settlement in northern Israel. Located in the Lower Galilee, it falls under the jurisdiction of Zevulun Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 2,551.

Khawaled or al-Khawled (Arabic: الخوالد; Hebrew: חַ'ואלִד) is a Bedouin village in northern Israel. Located near Nofit, it falls under the jurisdiction of Zevulun Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 729.The Israeli Bedouin diplomat Ismail Khaldi initiated a project called "Hike and Learn with Bedouins in the Galilee" that has brought thousands of young Jews to the village, to learn about Bedouin culture and history. He said these encounters inspired him to become a diplomat.

Oranim (Hebrew: אֳרָנִים or אורנים‎, lit. Pines) is a college of education in northern Israel. The college was founded in 1951 by the United Kibbutz Movement. It was named after the small forest of pine trees in the area. It offers BA degrees in a variety of fields in the humanities and social sciences, BSc degrees in a variety of sciences, BEd degrees in kindergarten, elementary and upper school studies, and MEd and MTeach degrees.

Adi (Hebrew: עֲדִי, lit. Ornament) is a community settlement in northern Israel. It is named after the nearby Biblical settlement of Tel Hali (Hali means "ornament" as Adi) in the tribe of Asher, mentioned in Joshua 19:25. Located near Shefa-'Amr, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,867.The village was established in 1980 by native born Israelis and immigrants from the Soviet Union as part of the "Lookouts in the Galilee" plan.

Hawsha (Arabic: هوشة, Hǔsheh, also Husha) was a Palestinian village located 13 kilometers (8.1 mi) east of Haifa, about 100 meters (330 ft) above sea level. During the late Roman period, Hawsha was the site of the ancient Jewish town of Usha, which was the seat of the Sanhedrin. Ruins on the site include ancient mosaics and tombs. The village had a Maqam (shrine) for Nabi Hushan.In 1945, it had a population of 580 inhabitants, 400 of whom were Arab Muslims and 180 of whom were Jewish. The built-up area of the village was 50 dunums, and 717 dunums were used for agriculture. All but 7 dunums of public land were owned by Jews by this time.Hawsha was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 16, 1948, as part of the Battle of Ramat Yohanan.

Khirbat Sa'sa' was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 28, 1948. It was located 15 km east of Haifa.

Al-Kasayir (Arabic: خربة الكساير, Hebrew: ח'ירבת אל-קסאייר) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict, located 13 km east of Haifa. It was depopulated during the 1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 16, 1948, under the Battle of Mishmar HaEmek.

Usha (Hebrew: אושא) was a city in the Western part of Galilee. The Arab village of Hawsha later occupied the ruins of the old site. The modern kibbutz of Usha, Israel is located nearby to the ruins.

The Sisters of Nazareth convent (Arabic: دير راهبات الناصره - شفاعمرو) is a monastery located in the city of Shefa-ʻAmr, Israel.

Shefa-Amr or Shfar'am (Arabic: شفاعمرو, Šafāʻamr, Hebrew: שְׁפַרְעָם, Šəfarʻam) is an Arab city in the Northern District of Israel. In 2021 it had a population of 43,023, with a Sunni Muslim majority and large Christian Arab and Druze minorities.

St. Peter & St. Paul Church is located in the city of Shefa-Amr, Israel on one of the town's peaks of the old city. It has a high bell tower and a large purple dome which used to be blue until it was changed in the year of 2009. Masses are conducted in the church in Arabic and because the Greek Catholics are a majority in the city it is considered the main church of the city.

The Shfaram synagogue (Hebrew: בית הכנסת בשפרעם) (Arabic: شفا عمرو كنيس) is an ancient synagogue located in the Israeli-Arab city of Shfaram, Northern Israel. The synagogue was built in the 17th century, atop the ruins of an ancient synagogue that had been built on a site where, according to tradition, the Sanhedrin had once sat. The synagogue fell into ruin, but during the mid-18th century, Bedouin chieftain Zahir al-Umar gave permission to the Jews to return and renovate the synagogue there. The synagogue was renovated by Rabbi Chaim Abulafia and his students. Shfaram was noted in 1845 by Rabbi Joseph Schwarz in his book Descriptive Geography and Brief Historical Sketch of Palestine as having "about thirty Jewish families who have an old synagogue". Jews lived in Shfaram until the 1970s when the community disbanded. Subsequently, the building fell into disrepair and was only recently renovated. Although being abandoned, the keys to the former house of worship are held by a local Muslim and the synagogue is treated with respect by the local Arabs.In November 2006 the building was rededicated after works to renovate the synagogue were carried out voluntarily by a group of newly qualified police officers. At the ceremony, Shfaram mayor Ursan Yassin retold how that during the October riots he had been forced to physically protect the location and had told local youngsters who wanted to burn it down that they could set him alight, but he would not allow them to harm the synagogue. There were however reports of damage to religious artifacts in the ancient synagogue on October 9, 2000.
