The Suttie Centre is a purpose-built training centre on the Foresterhill hospital campus in Aberdeen.

It is the site of the city's main hospitals (Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital and the Aberdeen Maternity Hospital), as well as the medical school and medical science departments of the University of Aberdeen. It is the largest hospital complex in Europe.Foresterhill is situated at the highest point in the city, a site identified by Professor Matthew Hay in 1900. He had the vision of an integrated medical campus, with a combined hospital and medical school for the City of Aberdeen.The site has its own helicopter landing site due to the hospitals' roles as tertiary hospitals for the North of Scotland and the rurality of Grampian as a catchment area, plus this is the primary emergency hospital for the offshore industries.

The Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital or RACH is a children's hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is situated on the Foresterhill site, with the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and provides services to children across the North of Scotland. It is managed by NHS Grampian.

Aberdeen University School of Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition contains the Medical School and Dental School at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. It also provides training and carries out research in medical sciences, nutrition, public health, dentistry, health sciences, physician associate studies at BSc, MSc, and PhD levels. The current school was formed from the merger of the former School of Medicine & Dentistry, School of Medical Sciences, and the Rowett Institute of Nutrition. Medicine has been taught at the university since the founding of King's College in 1495. The formal establishment of a medical school supporting a broad curriculum appears to postdate 1787 when there were calls "for the establishment of a medical school" in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen Maternity Hospital (AMH) is a specialist maternity hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland. Between 4,000 and 5,000 babies are born at AMH each year. The hospital is located in the Foresterhill area of Aberdeen and serves the region of Grampian as well as the islands of Shetland and Orkney. It is managed by NHS Grampian.

Cornhill is an area of Aberdeen, Scotland.At the west there is a bar (Murdos), the small Cornhill Shopping Centre whose main store is a Aldi supermarket, to the south it stretches as far as Forresterhill Hospital and to the east its area covers as far as Ashgrove. The income from the forests land formed Aberdeen's Common Good Fund. Midstocket Road cuts through the area and is generally seen as the focal point of the Midstocket Area. The streets between Midstocket Road and Westburn Road from Mile-End School are considered to be in the Midstocket Area. Between Rosemount and Mile-End School is considered the Mile-End area despite Midstocket Road passing through it. Midstocket Parish Church, which is also used as a community facility, is located on Midstocket Road.

Bonnymuir Green Community Trust is a community-owned green space in Aberdeen, Scotland, running a sustainable community garden and café.

Oakbank School was an independent residential school in Aberdeen, Scotland that offered residential education to young people with behavioural difficulties. Formerly categorised as an approved school, it was the main institution of its kind for the North of Scotland. In 2007 it celebrated its 125th anniversary. In 2008, around 100 staff were made redundant when the school was forced to close because of debts. Developer Carlton Rock bought the site of the former school for £7 million, and 100 new homes were built. All the school buildings on the site were demolished apart from the governor's house to the north of the main building.

Woodhill House is a large office development on Westburn Road in Aberdeen, Scotland. It was built as the headquarters of Grampian Regional Council in 1977 and then became the offices and meeting place of Aberdeenshire Council in 1996.

Rubislaw is an area of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is located in the area between Queen's Road and King’s Gate, including Rubislaw Den North and South. It is close to Rubislaw Quarry and the Rubislaw Playing Fields used by Aberdeen Grammar School. The buildings of the area are primarily Victorian or 1930s.
