Sayen Park Botanical Garden (30 acres), also known as Sayen House and Gardens, is a municipal park and botanical garden located at 155 Hughes Drive, Hamilton Square, an area within Hamilton Township, New Jersey. The garden is open year-round from dawn to dusk without charge, though park activity is at its peak in the spring. The garden began in 1912 when Frederick Sayen (1885–1981) purchased the site with his wife, Anne Mellon (1886–1977), a daughter of the Mellon family. The Sayens built a "bungalow" home in the Arts and Crafts style, though with Victorian interior design, and surrounded it with plants and flowers acquired during world travels. The principal collections include species from China, Japan, and England. The Sayen site became municipal property in 1988, when Hamilton Township purchased the site from developer David Cellars. The park was opened to the public in 1991. The township expanded and improved the park in 2003. Today the garden contains more than 1,000 azaleas, nearly 500 rhododendrons, and more than 250,000 flowering bulbs for spring display, as well as ponds, bridges, gazebos, and walking trails. Sayen House and Gardens hosts an annual Azalea Festival each Mother's Day, during which Sayen House is open to the public from 10AM to 4PM.

Mercerville-Hamilton Square is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located within Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2000 United States Census, the CDP's population was 26,419. As part of the 2010 census, the area was split into two CDPs, Mercerville and Hamilton Square.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 12,784.Hamilton Square was established in 1692 and was named after Alexander Hamilton in a wave of anti-British feeling at the time of the War of 1812. It previously had been called Nottingham after the British town. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 12,784.

Steinert High School (also formally known as Hamilton High School East) is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as one of three secondary high schools that are part of the Hamilton Township School District, located in Hamilton Township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey; the other high schools in the district are Nottingham High School (Hamilton High School North) and Hamilton High School West. The school mascot is the Spartan.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,447 students and 104.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.9:1. There were 302 students (20.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 56 (3.9% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Nottingham is an unincorporated community located within Hamilton Township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It was named after the English town of Nottingham when the area was settled by English emigrants entering an area of Dutch culture just two decades removed from the land being part of New Netherland, Dutch Empire. Nottingham is in the Mercerville-Hamilton Square area. Settled earlier, Nottingham is the original settlement in the former Nottingham Township (1688-1856). The neighboring unincorporated community of Sandtown was renamed Mercerville after the Battle of Princeton. Most or all of Nottingham was renamed Hamilton Square after Alexander Hamilton in a wave of anti-British sentiment at the time of the War of 1812. But local people still call the community Nottingham, because a large minority did not agree with the name change, and the center of Hamilton Square was a different neighborhood. Nottingham has maintained its sense of neighborhood because of continuity with street names and social events.

The Mercer County Special Services School District (MCSSSD) is a special education public school district headquartered in Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States, whose schools offer educational and therapeutic services for students of elementary and high school age from across the county who have emotional of physical disabilities that cannot be addressed by their sending districts. The district was created in November 1977.As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's four schools had an enrollment of 628 students and 103.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.05:1.The superintendent for the district is also the superintendent for the Mercer County Technical Schools.

Mercer County Community College (MCCC) is a public, community college in Mercer County, New Jersey. More than 7,000 students enroll in one or more credit courses each year.Established in 1966, MCCC has an open-door admission policy. The 292-acre (1.18 km2) West Windsor Township Campus was opened in 1971 to serve the needs of Mercer County residents. The main buildings on campus feature brutalist architecture, popular in 1960s college campus construction. The continually expanding James Kerney Campus, located in the heart of New Jersey's capital city, Trenton, serves as an educational and cultural hub for urban residents.The college offers continuing education classes and more than 60 different degree bearing options from transfer ready Liberal Arts degrees to hands-on offerings such as Automotive Technology and Hospitality. Several programs, such as Funeral Service and Aviation Technology, are the only ones of their kind offered at a public institution in the state of New Jersey. Medical programs such as Nursing and Radiography require application for admission and students must past licensure exams to complete. MCCC also has a program for students with intellectual disabilities, known as the DREAM program, allowing them to be integrated into mainstream classes with support from mentors through the Academic Student Resources division.Notable alumni include Trey Anastasio founder and lead vocalist for Phish, Heath Fillmyer pitcher for the Kansas City Royals, and Kenneth R. Rosen, reporter for The New York Times.

Hamilton Township is a township and the most populous municipality in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is the largest suburb of Trenton, the state's capital, which is located to the township's west. The township is situated within the New York metropolitan area as defined by the United States Census Bureau but directly borders the Philadelphia metropolitan area and is part of the Federal Communications Commission's Philadelphia Designated Market Area. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 92,297, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 3,833 (+4.3%) from the 2010 census count of 88,464, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,355 (+1.6%) from the 2000 census count of 87,109. The township was the state's ninth-largest municipality in 2010 and 2020, after having been ranked 10th in 2000.Hamilton was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 11, 1842, from portions of the now-defunct Nottingham Township. Portions of the township were taken to form Chambersburg on April 1, 1872, and annexed by Trenton in 1888, and by Wilbur on April 24, 1891, and annexed by Trenton in 1898. Hamilton Township derives its name from the village of Hamilton Square, which might have been named for Alexander Hamilton.In 2006, Hamilton Township was ranked by Morgan Quitno Press as the 18th-safest city in the United States, out of 369 cities nationwide. In the company's 2005 survey, the Township was ranked 15th safest of 354 cities surveyed nationwide.

WWFM (89.1 FM, "The Classical Network") is a classical music radio station owned and operated by Mercer County Community College (MCCC). The flagship station is licensed to the Trenton/Princeton market and operates from the West Windsor campus of MCCC. The Classical Network owns and operates WWFM, WWNJ (91.1 FM) in Toms River Township, WWCJ (89.1 FM) in Cape May, and WWPJ (89.5 FM) in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania. It also broadcasts in the Philadelphia market on the second HD Radio channel of WYPA (89.5 FM) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church commonly referred to as GraSP or Grace St. Paul's is an Episcopal Church (in the Anglican Communion) located in Mercerville, New Jersey.

The John Rogers House, built in 1761, is a historic home believed to be the oldest existing structure in West Windsor Township, New Jersey. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 31, 1978.The home has been listed by Preservation New Jersey on its list of endangered historic sites, as the local and county historical societies disagree about the preservation of the building. The structure was deeded to Mercer County in 1970 when the lands around the house became Mercer County Park. The building was not maintained since it became part of the park; tarps were placed over the roof to protect it from weather. Between 2017 and 2019, the roof of the building was removed and its walls were preserved to create a "constructed ruin" interpretive center.
