John Hamilton Farmstead

The Paris and Anna Fletcher House is a historic house on Vermont Route 22A in Bridport, Vermont. Built about 1813 and enlarged in the 1820s, it is a fine local example of late Federal architecture, with a distinctive shallow Doric portico. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, and now houses the local historical society.

The Champlain-Adirondack Biosphere Network is part of a global network of 727 biosphere reserves in 131 countries and it is one of 28 internationally recognized biosphere regions in the United States.

The Colonel Ephraim and Sarah Doolittle Farm is a historic farm property on Doolittle Road in Shoreham, Vermont. It is one of the oldest colonial farm properties in western Vermont, established in 1766 by Colonel Ephraim Doolittle, a veteran of the French and Indian War and the American Revolutionary War. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The District Six Schoolhouse is a historic school building on Elmendorf Road in Shoreham, Vermont. Built about 1833 and now converted into a residence, this modest stone structure is one of Vermont's oldest surviving district schoolhouses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Glen Dale Farm is a historic farm property at 1455 Cider Mill Road in Cornwall, Vermont. Its 3.5-acre (1.4 ha) property, which includes five contributing buildings, was listed as Glen Dale on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Farmed since the 1770s, the farm achieved prominence in the second half of the 19th century as one of the nation's top breeding sites of merino sheep.

The Old Stone Blacksmith Shop is a historic building on Vermont Route 30 in Cornwall, Vermont. Probably built in the late 18th century, it is a rare example in the state of a stone blacksmith shop, with a documented history of more than century's use for the purpose. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The First Congregational Church of Cornwall Parsonage is a historic house at 18 Vermont Route 74 in the center of Cornwall, Vermont. Built in 1839, it is a good local example of Greek Revival architecture, and served as a parsonage until 1994. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Cornwall Town Hall is located at 2629 Vermont Route 30 in Cornwall, Vermont. Built in 1880 and enlarged in 1905 to also house the local Grange chapter, it is one of the rural community's few examples of Italianate architecture, and has served as a community meeting point since its construction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Cornwall General Store, also known as the LaValley General Store, was a historic commercial building at 2635 Vermont Route 30 in the center of Cornwall, Vermont. Built in 1880 and in retail use for more than half a century, it was a well-preserved example of a dwindling business type, the rural general store with attached residence, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. Sold to the town for preservation in 2000, it was demolished about 2013.

Snake Mountain, also called Grand View Mountain, is an isolated mountain in the U.S. state of Vermont. The mountain straddles the Addison-Weybridge town line in Addison County. Most of the mountain, including the summit, is part of the 1,215-acre (492 ha) Snake Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) administered by the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department. Adjacent to the WMA is the 81-acre (33 ha) Wilmarth Woods Natural Area protected by The Nature Conservancy. Snake Mountain is one of a series of scattered hills extending into the Champlain Valley from the greater Taconic Mountains along Vermont's southwestern edge. Seen from the west, the prominent sheer cliffs of the mountain rise dramatically out of the valley making it easy to distinguish from other nearby hills and mountains. From the summit, there is an open vista of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains to the west. The view from the summit is sometimes called "Grand View.”
