Assumption Cathedral, Koper

Assumption of Mary Parish Church in Dekani (Slovene: župnijska cerkev Marijinega vnebovzetja v Dekanih) is the parish church of the Parish of Dekani, a village near the city of Koper in southwest Slovenia. It was built in 1229, rebuilt towards the end of the 15th century, consecrated in 1493, and restored and enlarged in 1902.

The Diocese of Koper (Latin: Dioecesis Iustinopolitana; Slovene: Škofija Koper; Italian: Diocesi di Capodistria) is a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in southwestern Slovenia. It is part of the ecclesiastical province of Ljubljana. Its cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and is located in the Adriatic port town of Koper. A co-cathedral, the Co-Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, located in Nova Gorica, gained its status in 2004. The Latin name of the diocese, Dioecesis Iustinopolitana, is due to the fact that Koper was in the past name Justinopolis in honour of the Byzantine emperor Justinian II.

Brutti Mansion (Slovene: palača Brutti; Italian: palazzo Brutti) is a mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It was built in the late-Baroque style in 1714 according to plans by the architect Giorgio Massari, at the request of Count Barnabi Brutti. It houses the central library of Koper, named after the librarian and politician Srečko Vilhar.

Gravisi–Barbabianca Mansion (Slovene: palača Gravisi-Barbabianca; Italian: palazzo Gravisi-Barbabianca) is a Baroque mansion in Koper (Italian: Capodistria), a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It was built in 1710. It was the family seat of the Gravisi family, who held the title of the Marquis of Pietrapelosa. Today it is the home of a music school.

Gravisi–Buttorai Mansion (Slovene: palača Gravisi-Buttorai; Italian: palazzo Gravisi-Buttorai) is a mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It is a protected monument of local significance. The mansion is situated at Shoemaker's Street (Slovene: Čevljarska ulica, Italian: Calegaria) in the old town center. It was the seat of a branch of the Gravisi family, whose senior line had the title of Marquis of Pietrapelosa, first granted to Nicolò Gravisi in 1440.

The Koper Regional Museum (Slovene: Pokrajinski muzej Koper; Italian: Museo regionale di Capodistria) has been housed since 1954 in the spacious early 17th century Belgramoni Tacco Palace, and is responsible for the movable cultural heritage in Primorska region of Slovenia. The museum originated in 1911 as the Municipal Museum of History and Art (Museo Civico di Storia e d'Arte). At its centenary in 2011, the museum opened a new permanent exhibition Between the Serenissima, Napoleon and the Habsburgs and enriched its collection.

Belgramoni–Tacco Mansion (Slovene: palača Belgramoni-Tacco; Italian: palazzo Belgramoni-Tacco) is a mansion in the city of Koper, in southwestern Slovenia. It was built around 1600. It features elements of Renaissance and Baroque, but in general has been regarded as a Mannerist building. The mansion currently serves as the seat of the Regional Museum of Koper. It is protected as a cultural monument of local significance.

The Carli Mansion (Slovene: palača Carli; Italian: palazzo Carli) is a mansion in Koper, a port town in southwestern Slovenia. It is named after the family of the historian and encyclopedist Gian Rinaldo Carli, who was born in it in 1720. It is an example of the Baroque architecture, with a balcony in the piano nobile, decorated with a three-mullioned window. Its inner court, decorated with frescoes, has a fountain from 1418.

Almerigogna Mansion (Slovene: palača Almerigogna; Italian: palazzo Almerigogna) is a mansion in Koper, a port town in south-western Slovenia. It is one of the most significant Gothic monuments in the town.
