Olembe Stadium

On 24 January 2022, at least eight people were killed in a crowd crush at the south entrance of Olembe Stadium in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The incident occurred as fans were attempting to enter the arena to watch a football match between Cameroon and the Comoros at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

It is the only hospital in the Central Region with a dialysis center. In July 2011, some patients were turned away due to shortage of dialysis units.

Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Yaoundé, Cameroon. It is used mostly for football matches and it also has athletics facilities. It was built in 1972. The stadium has been renovated in 2016 ahead of the African Women Cup of Nations tournament. It has a capacity of 42,500 seats. It is the home stadium of Canon Yaoundé, Tonnerre Yaoundé and the women's club Louves Minproff. The stadium is also known as the home venue of the Cameroonian national football team, who drew the stadium's record attendance of 120,000 in a football match in the 1980s. It was one of the venues used in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Yaoundé Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (French Hôpital gynéco-obstétrique et pédiatrique de Yaoundé - HGOPY) is a hospital in Yaoundé, Cameroon that specializes in caring for women and children. The hospital was built with the assistance of the Government of China. It was officially opened on 28 March 2002 by President Paul Biya in a ceremony attended by the Chinese Vice-Minister of Health. Outpatient care began on 1 April 2002.

Lycée Français Fustel de Coulanges is a French international school in Yaoundé, Cameroon. It serves levels maternelle (preschool) through lycée (senior high school/sixth form).The École française Fustel de Coulanges first opened along route de l'aéroport in 1967. The senior high school classes were established in 1972 through 1974. The primary school opened in 1975.

The Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex (French: Palais polyvalent des sports de Yaoundé) is an indoor sporting arena located in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The capacity of the Palais des sports de Warda is 5,263 people. It is used to host indoor sports such as basketball. It was built by the People's Republic of China and was inaugurated on June 19, 2009.

The Supreme Court (French Cour Suprême) is the highest judicial body in Cameroon. As defined in Article V of the Constitution of Cameroon, the Supreme Court is above the courts of appeal and the tribunals. It is nominally independent of the executive and legislative branches of government, subject only to the oversight of the Higher Judicial Council. The Supreme Court is an appellate court made up of three parts: the judicial, administrative, and audit benches. The judicial bench rules on standard cases appealed from the lower courts. the administrative bench handles cases involving the state, such as election disputes and appellate cases involving the government. This branch can hear such cases on the first instance. The audit bench takes cases relating to public accounts of public and semi-private entities. The Supreme Court may only rule on the constitutionality of law at the behest of the president of Cameroon. The body typically decides appeals only on point of law.The Supreme Court was founded in 1961 to replace the Federal Court of Justice.

The Central Hospital of Yaoundé (In French, Hôpital Central de Yaoundé - HCY) is a hospital in the city of Yaoundé, Cameroon founded in 1933. It is Cameroon's largest hospital.Simon Pierre Tchoungui (1916-1997), the former prime minister of East Cameroun, was medical superintendent of the hospital in 1960 before being appointed Minister of Health in 1961.
