Stara Bridge is a clapper bridge across the River Lynher in east Cornwall, England, dating to the Late Middle Ages and now scheduled under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979 as a rare surviving example of such bridge types. The surrounding area is known as Starabridge.

Rillaton (Cornish: Reslegh) is a hamlet in the parish of Linkinhorne in Cornwall, England. Nearby is the Bronze Age round barrow where the Rillaton Gold Cup was found in 1837. Rillaton was the head manor of the hundred of East Wivelshire and one of the Antiqua maneria, the original 17 manors belonging to the Earldom of Cornwall. Stara Bridge, a surviving clapper bridge, provides evidence of the economic importance of Rillaton in the Late Middle Ages.

North Darley (Cornish: Dowr Legh, meaning rock slab river) is a hamlet in Cornwall, England. It is two miles south of North Hill on the B3254 road from Launceston to Liskeard.

Botternell is a hamlet in the parish of North Hill, east Cornwall in the United Kingdom. The name means "Dornel's dwelling". Boturnell, also in Cornwall, has the same meaning. The earliest date for the village of Botternell is around the year.1160. By 1650, it consisted of two separate villages - higher and lower Bourtnell, (spelling varies). By 1840, Botternel was no longer classified as a village. Today, Botternel consists of a farm of the same name and a small hamlet of five houses on the site. There is a bus stop in the hamlet.

The Darley Oak is a Pedunculate oak tree (Quercus robur) which grows near Darleyford in the parish of Linkinhorne on the edge of Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, England, UK. This ancient tree is thought to be at least 1,000 years old, and a considerable number of legends take it as their core. Folk tradition attributes healing properties to the tree, and it is said that any wish made to it will eventually come true. Its acorns are also used as amulets, and were once used by pregnant women during pregnancy, to bring them luck. It was chosen one of the 50 Great British Trees by The Tree Council in 2002.

Upton Cross and Upton are hamlets a quarter of a mile apart in east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Upton is situated at grid reference SX 279 724 north of Upton Cross 5 miles (8 kilometres) northwest of Callington. They are on the northeast side of Caradon Hill on the B3254 Liskeard to Launceston road. St Paul's Church at Upton Cross is a mission church built in this corner of the parish of Linkinhorne in 1887 to serve the needs of the local mining community. The area is served by Upton Cross Academy, a primary school and pre-school. The school is part of Kernow Learning, a multi academy trust of schools in Cornwall. A little further north are the hamlets of Darleyford and North Darley below Notter Tor and a remarkable tree, the Darley Oak. At Netherton Farm Yarg cheese was produced from 1984 to 2006 by Lynher Dairies. Cornish Blue, a cheese made by the Cornish Cheese Company at Upton Cross, was the winning cheese in the World Food Awards in December 2010. The Hurlers are a group of three stone circles some distance to the west.

Coad's Green (or Coads Green) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, located on the B3257 in a rural area to the east of Bodmin Moor, about 7 miles (11 km) from the nearest town of Launceston. It is within the parish of North Hill,. It has a primary school, a Methodist church and a village hall. Historically, it has also been referred to as Coades Green. The Hocking's Green apple variety originated in Coad's Green. Group Travel's Launceston to Liskeard service (number 236) passes through the village.
