San Tommaso Apostolo, Albignasego

Albignasego is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Venice and about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south of Padua. As of 06/03/2021, it has a population of 26.006 inhabitants and an area of 21.0 square kilometres (8.1 sq mi).The municipality of Albignasego contains the main village and frazioni (hamlets) Carpanedo, Lion, Mandriola, S. Agostino, S. Giacomo. Albignasego borders the following municipalities: Abano Terme, Maserà di Padova, Casalserugo, Padua, Ponte San Nicolò. Among the churches in town is San Tommaso Apostolo.

Villa Molin is a patrician residence in the neighborhood of Mandria, in Ponte della Cagna, south of Padua, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It was designed for Nicolò Molin, a Venetian noble, by Vincenzo Scamozzi and completed in 1597. It faces Mandriola, on the opposite side of the Canale di Battaglia. The original agricultural setting of the villa, composed of pasture and orchards, has given way to a residential dormitory community of Padua.

Villa Giusti or Villa Giusti del Giardino is a villa in Mandria, outside of Padua in Northern Italy. It is notable for being the site of the signing of the Armistice of Villa Giusti that ended the First World War on the Italian Front.Fully restored in the nineteenth century, the villa was owned at the time of the armistice by the Count Vettor Giusti del Giardino, of a Veneto noble family. Giusti del Giardino was the mayor of Padua in the 1890s and a senator of the Kingdom of Italy from 1915. Before the armistice, the villa was the temporary residence of King Victor Emmanuel III, who came back from the front and wanted to avoid the aerial bombardment of Padua's city centre. He established his command and stayed there from November 1917 until January 1918.The Armistice of Villa Giusti ended warfare between Italy and Austria-Hungary on the Italian Front during the First World War. The armistice was signed on 3 November 1918 and took effect 24 hours later. In the room where the negotiations were conducted and the armistice was signed, the furniture remains just as it was on that day.

Maserà di Padova is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region of Veneto, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southwest of Venice and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) south of Padua. As of 1 January 2023, it had a population of 9,126 and an area of 17.58 square kilometres (6.79 sq mi).Maserà di Padova borders the following municipalities: Abano Terme, Albignasego, Cartura, Casalserugo, Due Carrare. Giorgio Perlasca, Righteous Among the Nations, grew up in Maserà.

The Sanctuary of Leopold Mandić is a Roman Catholic church located on Piazzale Santa Croce of Padua, region of Veneto, Italy; the church is now dedicated to the saint, who served as a Capuchin friar and priest in this church, and was canonized in 1983. A church at the site had been built by the Capuchin order in the early 19th-century but was destroyed by bombardment during the Second World War. It was rebuilt using designs of the architect Giovanni Morassuti. Putatively the only structure surviving the bombing was the original confessional booth of Leopold Mandić, who had died in the midst of the war in 1942.

Stadio Silvio Appiani is a multi-use stadium in Padua, Italy. It was initially used as the stadium of Calcio Padova matches. It was replaced by Stadio Euganeo in 1994. The capacity of the stadium was 24,000 spectators. The name is chosen in honour of Silvio Appiani. Since 2015 it is one of Calcio Padova's training grounds and hosts some youth games. The current capacity is 1,400 spectators.

The Abbey of Santa Giustina is a 10th-century Benedictine abbey complex located in front of the Prato della Valle in central Padua, region of Veneto, Italy. Adjacent to the former monastery is the basilica church of Santa Giustina, initially built in the 6th century, but whose present form derives from a 17th-century reconstruction.

Padua "Gino Allegri" Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Padova "Gino Allegri") (ICAO: LIPU) is an airport serving Padua, Veneto, Italy. The airport is named after Gino Allegri, an Italian aviator who lost his life while attempting to land in a small airfield in the Province of Padua during World War I.

The Museum of Precinema (in Italian: Museo del Precinema) is a museum in the Palazzo Angeli, Prato della Valle, Padua, Italy, related to the history of precinema, or precursors of film. It was created in 1998 to display the Minici Zotti Collection, in collaboration with the Comune di Padova. It also produces interactive touring exhibitions and makes valuable loans to other prestigious exhibitions such as 'Lanterne magique et film peint' at the Cinémathèque Française in Paris and the Museum of Cinema in Turin.

Prato della Valle (Prà de ła Vałe in Venetian) is a 90,000-square-meter elliptical square in Padua, Italy. It is the largest square in Italy, and one of the largest in Europe. Today, the square is a large space with a green island at the center, l'Isola Memmia, surrounded by a small canal bordered by two rings of statues.

The Orto Botanico di Padova is a botanical garden in Padua, in the northeastern part of Italy. Founded in 1545 by the Venetian Republic, it is the world's oldest academic botanical garden that is still in its original location. The garden – operated by the University of Padua and owned by the Italian government – encompasses roughly 22,000 square meters, and is known for its special collections and historical design.
