Quezon Memorial Shrine

The Quezon Memorial Circle is a national park located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The park is located inside a large traffic circle in the shape of an ellipse and bounded by the Elliptical Road and is the main park of Quezon City (which served as the official capital of the Philippines from 1948 to 1976). Its main feature is a 66-meter (217 ft) tall mausoleum containing the remains of Manuel L. Quezon, the second official President of the Philippines and the first of an internationally recognized independent Philippines, and his wife, First Lady Aurora Quezon. This location will be the street alignment for the approved Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 7 named Quezon Memorial MRT Station and the station will be underground. "Circle", as locals call it, has been undergoing significant changes in order to lure in more tourists both local and foreign. Due to these beautification efforts of the local government the number of visitors is continuously increasing.

The Elliptical Road is a 1.98-kilometer (1.23 mi) roundabout in Quezon City which circumscribes the Quezon Memorial Circle, a large park. It was named after its elliptical shape. The spinning in this roundabout is in a counterclockwise direction. The road is divided into 8 lanes, wherein 3 are the main lanes, 4 lanes are for exiting vehicles with one lane for bicycles and pedicabs.This area of Quezon City is called "PHILCOA", after the Philippine Coconut Authority or PHILCOA, one of the government agencies headquartered there.

Quezon Memorial station is an under construction station of the Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 7 located within the Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. Close landmarks include the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, Department of Agriculture Building, Quezon City Hall, Department of Agrarian Reform Building, the National Housing Authority (Philippines) and PTV Complex.

The Quezon Heritage House is a historic house museum within the grounds of the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City, Philippines. It is situated across the Quezon City Hall.

The Quezon City Museum Complex, more commonly known as the QCX Museum or the Quezon City Experience Museum is an interactive and socio-cultural green building-compliant city museum which was inaugurated on November 9, 2015, within the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. QCX primarily displays the history and culture of Quezon City. It is touted as the first interactive museum of the city. The museum concept was conceived in 2006.

The National Kidney and Transplant Institute is a tertiary referral hospital located in Central, Quezon City, Philippines. The hospital opened on January 16, 1981. The National Kidney and Transplant Institute, or NKTI, is a tertiary medical specialty center for renal health. The hospital also offers voluntary blood services. The center receives budgetary support for its operations from the national government. It was constructed on public land donated by the National Housing Authority.The Lung Center has a hospital bed capacity of 210.

The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center is a 22.7-hectare (56-acre) zoological and botanical garden located in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. It was named after Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. The Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife Center has a lagoon, an aquarium, a playground, botanical garden and a Wildlife Rescue Center, which the Department of Environment and Natural Resources uses as a temporary shelter where confiscated, retrieved, donated, sick, abandoned, and injured wild animals are placed to be taken care of. The park houses several indigenous plants and animals such as crab-eating macaques, water monitors, Philippine deer, binturongs, Palawan bearded pigs and several varieties of birds.

The Quezon City Hall is a government building which houses the office of the Mayor of Quezon City located along the Elliptical Road. The Quezon City Council is housed within the adjacent Legislative Wing.
