Fairfield Township is one of thirteen townships in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 51,113 and it contained 24,527 housing units.

Wildcat Creek is a tributary of the Wabash River in north-central Indiana. The stream is 84 miles (135 km) long and drains an area of 804.2 square miles (2,083 km2). Wildcat Creek consists of three main forks-North, South, and Middle. All forks flow in a general east-west direction through varied topography and land uses, including cropland, pasture, forest and developed areas. The major tributaries of the Wildcat are the Little Wildcat Creek and the Kokomo Creek. This creek would be known as a river in most areas of the United States due to its width. At its mouth, the estimated mean annual discharge of Wildcat Creek is 817.79 cubic feet per second (23.157 m3/s), according to the US Environmental Protection Agency.In November 1812, an American military force was defeated in the Battle of Wild Cat Creek, sometimes known as "Spur's Defeat".The Wildcat travels through Greentown, Kokomo and Burlington before joining the Wabash River near Lafayette. Just west of Greentown, the creek becomes the Kokomo Reservoir. The Wildcat Guardians, a private environmental/recreational organization, works to keep the creek free of litter and debris.Wildcat Creek is also a Group 5 waterway below dams in Kokomo, and due to high mercury and PCB content, fish are not to be consumed west of the dam.In February 2014, the Wildcat Creek was featured on CBS Evening News for its ice dam jams, because of the frigid winter season.

Waldron–Beck House and Carriage House is a historic home and carriage house located at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The house was built in 1877, and is a two-story, irregularly shaped Italianate style brick dwelling, with a rear service wing. It sits on a stone foundation and has a multi-hipped roof with bracketed cornice. It features a three-sided, two-story projecting bay. The carriage house is a two-story, three bay brick building. It has a hipped roof with cupola and a bracketed cornice.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Lafayette Home Hospital was a 270-bed medical center in Lafayette, Indiana, United States, owned by the not-for-profit Franciscan Health, a division of Sisters of St. Francis Health Services, Inc. The facility ceased all medical services on February 25, 2010.

Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital is a full-service, private, nonprofit hospital located in Lafayette, Indiana. It is part of the Indiana University Health system. The hospital was the first in Indiana with an American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center. IU Health Arnett also has a level III neonatal intensive care unit with 12 beds staffed by four neonatologists and additional 24-hour coverage by neonatal nurse practitioners. As a teaching hospital, IU Health Arnett takes medical, nursing, allied health professions, and other healthcare-related students from the nearby Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM), Purdue University College of Health and Human Sciences, and Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana campuses.

The Columbian Park Zoo is a seasonal zoo located in Lafayette, Indiana at Columbian Park. The zoo is home to more than 190 animals from over 90 species. The zoo is in Columbian Park, which also includes playgrounds, picnic areas, a walking trail, and a baseball stadium.

Scott Street Pavilion is a historic park pavilion located in Columbian Park at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It was built in 1899, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular, wood-frame building. It is sheathed in clapboard siding and has a hipped roof that extends to form a verandah on all sides.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Loeb Stadium was a stadium in Columbian Park in Lafayette, Indiana, United States. It was primarily used for baseball and had most recently been the home of the Lafayette Aviators of the Prospect League. Previously, it was the home of Ohio Valley Redcoats of the independent Frontier League, and later the Lafayette Leopards of the now defunct Great Central League.

Loeb Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Columbian Park in Lafayette, Indiana, United States. It is the home field for the Lafayette Aviators, a collegiate summer baseball team in the Prospect League; for the Jefferson High School Bronchos baseball team; and for Black Cat FC in the United Premier Soccer League. Opened in 2021, Loeb Stadium has a capacity of 2,600 people.
