Breton Woods is an unincorporated community located within Brick Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is located near the Metedeconk River and is bisected by Mantoloking Road (County Route 528). Except for commercial businesses located along Mantoloking Road, the area is made up of bungalows dotting the small roads throughout the area. A wood area of 31 acres near the community is known as Breton Woods. It was owned by the Archdiocese of Trenton, which had once intended or create a cemetery.

Adamston is an unincorporated community located within Brick Township, Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. County Route 528 travels through Adamston, leading to neighboring Mantoloking to the east, on the Jersey Shore. The area is otherwise mostly made up of small bungalows spread along numerous residential roads in Adamston.

Brick Township is a township situated on the Jersey Shore within Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the city retained its position as the state's 13th-most-populous municipality, with a population of 73,620, a decrease of 1,452 (−1.9%) from the 2010 census count of 75,072, which in turn reflected a decline of 1,047 residents (−1.4%) from its population of 76,119 at the 2000 census, when it was the state's 12th most-populous municipality.A majority of Brick Township is located on the mainland. Ocean Beaches I, II, and III are situated on the Barnegat Peninsula, a long, narrow barrier peninsula that separates Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean. The mainland and beach area of the town are not geographically adjacent. Brick Township was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 15, 1850, from portions of both Dover Township (now Toms River Township) and Howell Township. The township was named after Joseph Brick, the owner of Bergen Iron Works located on the Metedeconk River. Portions of the township were taken to form Point Pleasant Beach (May 18, 1886), Bay Head (June 15, 1886), Lakewood Township (March 23, 1892), Mantoloking (April 10, 1911) and Point Pleasant (April 21, 1920). In 1963, voters rejected a referendum that would have changed the township's name to "Laurelton".After hovering for years in the top five, in 2006, the township earned the title of "America's Safest City", out of 371 cities included nationwide in the 13th annual Morgan Quitno survey. Since the year 2000, Brick Township has been the safest "city" (population over 75,000) in New Jersey. In 2003 and 2004, Brick Township was ranked as the second safest city in the United States, after Newton, Massachusetts. In 2005, Brick Township had dropped down to the fifth safest "city" (population over 75,000) in the United States, before it rebounded to the top in 2006.

The Metedeconk River is a tributary of Barnegat Bay in Ocean County, New Jersey in the United States. The Metedeconk River flows from its 22.3-mile-long (35.9 km) North and 22.6-mile-long (36.4 km) South Branches to their confluence at Forge Pond, where the river widens (up to just over 1 mile (1.6 km)) and flows southeast for 6 miles (9.7 km) into Barnegat Bay. It contains both fresh and salt-water portions. Like many area streets, waterways and towns, Metedeconk is the original word or phrase used by the Indigenous Peoples to name themselves or to name themselves after their geography. Its name a direct reference to the Metedeconk Tribes who had two settlements, one on the North Side of the river bordering the Beaver-dam Creek in the region now called CedarCroft, and one on the south side.

Orient Baptist Church, also known as First Baptist Church of Laurelton, is a historic Baptist church on New Jersey Route 88 in the Laurelton section of Brick Township in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The Greek Revival building was constructed in 1858 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Laurelton is an unincorporated community located within Brick Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.Settlement in the area dates back to the years after 1808, when an iron forge in the area became the nucleus of a community called Burrsville, which was named for one of the proprietors. The area became known as Laurelton in the early 1900s with the opening of Laurelton Farms, a poultry operation run by the Park and Tilford Company.A failed 1963 referendum would have renamed the entire Brick Township after Laurelton.

Silverton is an unincorporated community located within the north-eastern portion of Toms River Township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area comprises the area surrounding the Silver Bay and including Green Island. Several bay beach clubs service the surrounding neighborhoods as recreation centers. Silver Bay Elementary School, part of the Toms River Regional Schools, is located on Silver Bay Road. Silverton is bordered to the north by Brick Township. Main roads that run through Silverton include Hooper Avenue (County Route 549), Silver Bay Road, and Church Road/Kettle Creek Road (County Route 620).

Ocean University Medical Center (OUMC), formerly Ocean Medical Center, is a 318-bed non-profit, short-term acute care teaching hospital located in Brick Township, Ocean County, New Jersey, providing tertiary and healthcare needs for the northern Jersey Shore and Central Jersey. The university as of 2021 has 90 residents and five medical programs.OUMC is part of the Hackensack Meridian Health Health System and is affiliated with the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University. Pediatric patients are under the care of doctors from K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital, and high-risk pediatric cases are transferred to the hospital. In 2021 it was given a grade A by the Leapfrog patient safety organization. In 2021 U.S. News ranked it among the 15 best maternity hospitals in New Jersey.

Composed mostly of rock bands, Gig Records' roster also includes electronic artists, singer/songwriters, punk bands, and a movie soundtrack. Point Pleasant is a borough situated on the Jersey Shore, in northern Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 18,941, an increase of 549 (+3.0%) from the 2010 census count of 18,392, which in turn reflected a decline of 914 (−4.7%) from the 19,306 counted at 2000 census.The borough is a Jersey Shore community situated south of the Manasquan River and north and east of the Beaverdam Creek and its confluence with the Metedeconk River. Point Pleasant was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 21, 1920, from portions of Brick Township, based on the results of a referendum held on May 19, 1920. The borough was reincorporated on March 12, 1928. Point Pleasant is distinct from Point Pleasant Beach, which is a separate community. The borough gets its name from Point Pleasant Beach, which gets its name from its location at the northern end of the Barnegat Peninsula, a long, narrow barrier peninsula that divides the Barnegat Bay from the Atlantic Ocean at the Manasquan Inlet.
