Buckeye Union High School is a public high school in Buckeye, Arizona under the jurisdiction of the Buckeye Union High School District.

Liberty is a small populated place in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is located about 30 miles (50 kilometers) west of Phoenix and about 6 miles (10 kilometers) southeast of Buckeye. Liberty is located at the intersection of South Jackrabbit Trail and West Baseline Road. It is located entirely within Block 3017, Block Group 3, Census Tract 506.01, Maricopa County, Arizona, which had a population of 63 at the 2000 census.The original settlers named the location Altamount, the settlement soon became called Toothaker Place, after the first postmaster, Harriet Toothaker, who ran the post office out of her home. When the post office was relocated in 1901, it was renamed Liberty, and with it the community.Liberty is home to the Liberty Elementary School District headquarters, although the district itself has expanded out to include much of the surrounding areas of Buckeye and Goodyear. Liberty exists as a county island within the corporate boundaries of Buckeye. This precludes any possibility of incorporation for the community.

Allenville was a community located in western Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, south of the town of Buckeye, on the edge of the Gila River, at an estimated elevation of 837 feet (255 m) above sea level. The community was founded in 1944 after Phoenix-area developer Fred Norton subdivided land two miles south of Buckeye. The community was named after John Allen, a local, respected African-American man.In 1969, the town had approximately 450 residents. A campaign by mayors around the Phoenix area to help bring running water to the community raised $26,000 that year. However, the wells which were dug contained arsenic or were contaminated with salt, so the community continued to import drinking water from nearby Buckeye.In 1978, the Gila River flooded, devastating the Allenville community, bringing the population down to around 150 people. The community was abandoned after it was ravaged by another flood in 1981. Instead of rebuilding Allenville, most of the community moved to nearby Hopeville.

As of the 2020 census, the population was 91,502, up from 50,876 in 2010, and 6,537 in 2000. It was the fastest-growing city in the United States for 2017, 2018, and 2021.

Youngker High School (YHS) is a high school in Buckeye, Arizona under the jurisdiction of the Buckeye Union High School District. It opened its doors for the first freshman class in 2007. The school opened under the guidance of Principal Johnny Ray, who retired from education in May 2009. The district named the school after the Youngker family, who donated the land that the high school sits upon. Its roof sustained damage in the 2011 Phoenix dust storm, causing water damage to several classrooms. Debris shattered two windows.To accommodate unexpected growth, a former practice gym was converted into 12 classrooms for the 2022–23 school year.

The Odyssey Institute for Advanced and International Studies (OIAIS) Buckeye, Arizona is a public charter junior high school and high school based in Buckeye, Arizona. Playfully nicknamed, "The Odyssey Institute for Advanced and International Studies West of the Mississippi and North of the Equator". "Scholars", as they are known at Odyssey, (although known as students everywhere else) in high school may wear maroon or black uniform shirts, and black or khaki pants/shorts. In years previous to the 2016-2017 school year, the single-campus was a combination of grades 6-8 and 9-12, but in the 2016-2017 school year, the school split to become a separated middle school and high school. Scholars in middle school may only wear black pants/shorts and a grey uniform shirt. Additionally, scholars are required to only wear (OIAIS) branded outerwear or a solid-colored jacket that corresponds with the school's colors. OIAIS is part of a wider family of schools known as The Odyssey Preparatory Academy, which includes three K-5 schools in Buckeye and Goodyear. The High-school and Junior-high's mascot is Marty the Minotaur. The school colors are maroon, black, white, and silver.

Sundance Towne Center is a regional shopping center by Vestar Development located south of Interstate 10 on the intersections of S. Watson Road and W. Yuma Road in the city of Buckeye, Arizona. The first phase of development opened in the spring of 2007. Estrella is a mixed-use master-planned community located in Goodyear, Arizona, United States. Encompassing roughly 20,000 acres, the lakeside community is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Estrella Mountains, in the Sonoran Desert Valley. Located approximately 17 miles west of Phoenix off of the I-10 and Estrella Parkway, the community offers access to the Greater Metro-Phoenix area. Currently, Estrella is a home to more than 40,000 residents ranging from young couples to retirees to Slamball connoisseurs. The community regularly hosts events and has amenities including parks, trails, and open space. Estrella consists of three distinct communities: Mountain Ranch, Montecito, and the gated 55-plus community, CantaMia. The community was recognized in Arizona Foothills Magazine's "Best of Our Valley 2015" list as the best Master-Plan Community for Children.

Estrella Foothills High School is a comprehensive high school campus located in Goodyear, Arizona. Estrella Foothills High School is a part of the Buckeye Union High School District. The school mascot is the wolf. Estrella Foothills High School opened its doors in August 2001. Opening with a freshman class of 110 students, the first graduating class of approximately 160 students received their diplomas in May 2005. There are approximately 1,160 students currently enrolled. From 2008 to 2011, EFHS maintained "Excelling" status, at the time the highest rank awarded to Arizona's public schools. Estrella Foothills high school is currently ranked ‘B’ by the Arizona Department of Education. For over a decade, Estrella Foothills has exceeded the state average in mathematics and English language arts. Estrella Foothills offers a wide range of academic classes (offered in block scheduling), including honors and AP courses, as well as many diverse electives including culinary arts, sports medicine, medical assisting, carpentry, education professions, band and choir, theatre and technical theatre, business, computer science, engineering, forensic science, dance, graphic design, creative writing, psychology, criminal law/sociology, and art. The school's CTE courses are part of the joint technological education district West-MEC. Estrella Foothills offers extracurricular activities such as Career and Technical Student Organizations, National Honor Society, Drama Club and Thespians, Art Club, Dance Club, Newspaper,Interact, SHPE (including a robotics team), The Pythagorean Society, Earth Club, and many more. Students at Estrella Foothills are encouraged to be well-rounded and volunteer in community and charitable events. Among these, the Drama Club and SkillsUSA chapter sponsors four blood drives through Vitalant each year. Interact Club regularly visits local charities and organizes drives for food and clothing. The student council organizes school and community events such as the annual Homecoming Carnival and Parade, Prom, and pep assemblies. In athletics, Estrella Foothills is a member of the 4A Conference of the Arizona Interscholastic Association. The Wolves have distinguished themselves in their twelve years of varsity programs, having sent most of their teams to state playoff competitions at some point. Their first state championships came in track and field. The school has also celebrated state championships in spiritline, girls soccer, softball, girls track, tennis, and boys basketball teams.

Perryville is a former unincorporated community in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States located at the northeastern corner of what is now Perryville Road and Yuma Road in unincorporated Goodyear, Arizona. Perryville was established by Perry Carmean (1877–1980), an emigrant from Van Wert, Ohio who moved to Phoenix in 1922, renting a property at 809 West Jefferson according to voter registration records and working as a laborer according to the 1925 City Directory. He bought his first property at a homesite in the Phoenix area in the University Addition northwest of 7th Avenue and Van Buren on April, 1926, but did not stay long, purchasing the first lot of what would be named Perryville on August 25, 1926. He established a service station by July 1927 and listed his occupation in the 1930 US Census as a carpenter with other income. Carmean continued to buy and rent property, finally leasing the townsite in 1941 and selling it in 1945.Perryville grew slowly, eventually reaching a size of two acres at the time of its sale. At that point there were several cottages according to the 1946 topographical map but were demolished thereafter. A 30-space trailer park was built in 1969, the last property constructed on the settlement. The service station is still in business, a cafe was later converted to a used car dealership.

Skyline Regional Park is an 8700-acre mountain preserve located in west-central Maricopa County, Arizona. The park is at the southern edge of the White Tank Mountains, within the arid Sonora Desert. The park is on a 25-year lease from BLM to the city of Buckeye, after which it reverts to the city.
