RMIT University

RMIT University Library (previously known as 'Libraries of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology') consists of six academic branch libraries in Australia and Vietnam. Its four Australian branches are located on the RMIT University campuses in Melbourne City, Bundoora and Brunswick; and its two Vietnamese branches are located at the RMIT University Vietnam campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

RMIT Building 8 is an educational building, part of the RMIT University's City campus in Melbourne, Victoria. It sits at 383 Swanston Street, on the northern edge of the Hoddle Grid that defines Melbourne's city centre. Completed in 1993, by Edmond and Corrigan Pty Ltd in association with The Demaine Partnership, Building 8 is an example of architecture in the Postmodern style.

The Ringwood Library: Edmond and Corrigan is situated in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, within the Ringwood Plaza complex. completed in 1995 The building stands alone as an icon in the area of Ringwood and sets itself apart from the surrounding plaza and is noticeably differentiates from eastland shopping centre, which sits to the north of the site.

RMIT Building 11, also informally known as RMIT Spiritual Centre, is a building located at the City campus of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University), and is part of the Old Melbourne Gaol. The centre is a place for students to practise mindful meditation, which is an activity organised by the RMIT Chaplaincy Service.

The Old Melbourne Gaol is a former jail and current museum on Russell Street, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It consists of a bluestone building and courtyard, and is located next to the old City Police Watch House and City Courts buildings, and opposite the Russell Street Police Headquarters. It was first constructed starting in 1839, and during its operation as a prison between 1845 and 1924, it held and executed some of Australia's most notorious criminals, including bushranger Ned Kelly and serial killer Frederick Bailey Deeming. In total, 133 people were executed by hanging. Though it was used briefly during World War II, it formally ceased operating as a prison in 1924; with parts of the jail being incorporated into the RMIT University, and the rest becoming a museum. The three-storey museum displays information and memorabilia of the prisoners and staff, including death masks of the executed criminals. At one time the museum displayed what was believed at the time to be Ned Kelly's skull, before it was stolen in 1978; as well as the pencil used by wrongly convicted Colin Campbell Ross to protest his innocence in writing, before being executed.

Abode318 is a residential skyscraper developed by PDG Corporation and Schiavello and designed by Elenberg Fraser and Disegno Australia in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. As of November 2016, the skyscraper is the 22nd–tallest building in Melbourne. Initially proposed in 2007, and named the Barton Tower, the skyscraper anticipated the current trend of "skinny skyscrapers" proposed in Melbourne. Indeed, the most unusual feature of the building is its "curving exterior" which is illuminated by 10 millimetres of rose coloured glass, which incorporates thermal properties that insulate the skyscraper. Abode318 comprises 450 apartments across 57 levels, and reaches a height of 187.3 metres (614.5 feet). The project received approval by then-Planning Minister Matthew Guy in 2011, with construction commencing later that year. At a cost of AUD$136 million, the building topped-out in late 2014, and was completed by early 2015. At the time of its completion, Abode318 was the 10th–tallest building in Melbourne; additionally, it became the first building since the 2006 completion of the Eureka Tower to be listed in the "ten-tallest buildings of Melbourne".

RMIT's School of Media and Communication is an Australian tertiary education school within the College of Design and Social Context at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University), located in Melbourne, Victoria. The school hosts the university's Advertising, Audio/Visual, Creative Writing, Editing and Publishing, Film and Television/ Radio, Journalism, Communication, Music Industry, Professional Communication (a hybrid-degree which crosses Journalism, Media and Public Relations), and Public Relations programs. The school was formed by the merger of the RMIT School of Creative Media and RMIT School of Applied Communication on 6 July 2009.

RMIT's School of Vocational Business Education is an Australian vocational education school within the College of Business at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University), located in Melbourne, Victoria.

RMIT's School of Business IT and Logistics (also referred to as SBITL) is an Australian tertiary education school within the College of Business at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University), located in Melbourne, Victoria.

The RMIT School of Creative Media was an Australian tertiary education school in the College of Design and Social Context (DSC) of RMIT University. The school hosted RMIT's animation, audio visual, creative writing, filmmaking, music, multimedia, photography and video games programs. It merged with the School of Applied Communication on 6 July 2009 to form the RMIT School of Media and Communication.

The RMIT School of Art is an Australian university art school located in Melbourne, Victoria, which is responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate education and research in fine art and photography at RMIT University. Established in 1917, it is the top art school in Australia and 11th in the world, according to the 2020 QS World University Rankings.

The Melbourne City campus of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) is located in the city centre of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. It is sometimes referred to as "RMIT City" and the "RMIT Quarter" of the city in the media.
