The Calamba Bayside National High School is located in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. It was established in 1989 as the Lingga Rural High School.

The San Cristobal River (Tagalog: Ilog ng San Cristobal), commonly known as the Matang Tubig River, is a river system in the cities of Calamba and Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines. The river is one of 21 major tributaries of Laguna de Bay.

Calamba, officially the City of Calamba (Filipino: Lungsod ng Calamba), is a 1st class component city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 539,671 people.Calamba is the regional center of the Calabarzon region. It is situated 50 kilometers (31 mi) south of Manila and 37 kilometers (23 mi) west of Santa Cruz. The city is known as the "Spring Resort Capital of the Philippines" because of its numerous hot spring resorts, which are mostly located in Barangays Pansol, Bucal, Bagong Kalsada, and Lingga. According to the 2020 census, Calamba has a population of 539,671 people, making it the most populous local government unit in Laguna. It is the fifth-densest city in the province with more than 2,600 people per square kilometer after San Pedro, Biñan, Cabuyao, and Santa Rosa. Based on the overall rankings of the 2014 Cities and Municipalities Index, the city ranked 18th in the overall competitiveness (cities ranking) and first among cities in the Calabarzon region. Calamba is known to be Calabarzon's richest city because of its numerous industries.Calamba is the hometown of the de facto Philippine national hero, José Rizal.

Tadlac Lake, also colloquially known as Alligator Lake, is a freshwater volcanic crater lake located in Barangay Tadlac, in the municipality of Los Baños, Laguna. The lake-filled maar is located along the southern shore of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country, with Alligator Lake protruding out of the shore of the larger lake. If not for its slightly-elevated crater rim, Alligator Lake would be wholly engulfed by Laguna de Bay.The crater lake is one of the maars of the Laguna Volcanic Field. It is listed as one of the inactive volcanos in the Philippines by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).Tadlac lake is also notable for its history of annual Lake overturns, locally called langal. This phenomenon, rare elsewhere but usually occurring in Tadlac lake during the cold months of December to February, is the result of trapped carbon dioxide (CO2) erupting from the deep layers of the lake towards the surface, leading to fish kills due to low levels of dissolved oxygen.: 6  This phenomenon was greatly heightened by the introduction of aquaculture to the lake in the mid-1980s, eventually leading to a massive and costly fishkill in 1999, which in turn led to the cessation of aquaculture activities on the lake.: 6 Prior to the introduction of aquaculture, Alligator Lake was considered as an oligotrophic lake, having low nutrient content and low algal production, resulting in very clear water with high drinking-water quality.

St. John the Baptist Parish Church (Filipino: Simbahan ng Parokya ni San Juan Bautista), commonly known as Calamba Church, is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines under the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Pablo. It is located adjacent to Rizal Shrine and is known as the christening site of José Rizal.

City College of Calamba (CCC) is a public college in Calamba, Laguna established in 2006. The institution was founded to provide education to the underprivileged. It is also subsidized by the city government and offers free tuition. City College of Calamba has degree programs in the fields of accountancy, computer science, primary and secondary education.

The San Juan River (Tagalog: Ilog ng San Juan), also known as the Calamba River, is a river system in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. It is one of 21 major tributaries of Laguna de Bay and is regularly monitored by the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) through one of its 15 river monitoring stations. Along with the San Cristobal River, it is one of the two major rivers of Calamba that drains into Laguna de Bay. Its watershed area covers Calamba in Laguna and the municipalities of Santo Tomas, Tanauan, and Malvar in Batangas.

Calamba Claypot, also known as the Calamba Jar and The Banga, is a landmark in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines which is the largest claypot in the world. It is located at the City Plaza near Calamba Church and Rizal Shrine. Built in 1937, it was constructed as a reference to the origin of the town's name from kalamba, meaning "water jar", with names of the cities and villages inscribed on its exterior. The giant claypot can also be found in the city's official seal. The plaza was proposed by the then town councilor Agapito Alzona, to utilize the area where the old town market once stood. The resolution was approved by the then town mayor Roman Lazaro. The giant claypot was designed and created by the sculptor Felipe Samaniego, a University of Philippines graduate who was trained under the famed National Artist for Visual Arts, Guillermo Tolentino. Construction of the monument began in 1937 and completed in 1939.

The Rizal Shrine in Calamba (Filipino: Museo ni José Rizal Calamba) is a reproduction of the original two-story, Spanish-colonial style house in Calamba, Laguna where José Rizal was born on June 19, 1861. Rizal is regarded as one of the greatest national heroes of the Philippines.The house is designated as a National Shrine (Level 1) by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. It is located along Mercado Street and Rizal Street in Calamba's Poblacion 5 and is in close proximity to St. John the Baptist Parish Church and the City College of Calamba.

Masili station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Laguna, Philippines. It is a flag stop for the line as there are no platforms yet being erected, temporary stairs for the trains are added in the meantime to facilitate loading and unloading.

Pansol is an urban barangay in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. It is located at the southeast edge of the city. The barangay is situated at the foot of Mount Makiling near the city's border with Los Baños and is known for its hot springs.

Bucal is an urban and lakeside barangay in Calamba, Laguna, in the Philippines. Colloquially known by local drivers and passengers as Letran and sometimes JP-Rizal due to the two buildings being well known in the barangay, Bucal is the second tourist spot in the city along with Pansol. The barangay borders Laguna de Bay. Bucal's name originated from bukal or hot spring.
