San Juan River (Calamba)

Calamba Claypot, also known as the Calamba Jar and The Banga, is a landmark in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines which is the largest claypot in the world. It is located at the City Plaza near Calamba Church and Rizal Shrine. Built in 1937, it was constructed as a reference to the origin of the town's name from kalamba, meaning "water jar", with names of the cities and villages inscribed on its exterior. The giant claypot can also be found in the city's official seal. The plaza was proposed by the then town councilor Agapito Alzona, to utilize the area where the old town market once stood. The resolution was approved by the then town mayor Roman Lazaro. The giant claypot was designed and created by the sculptor Felipe Samaniego, a University of Philippines graduate who was trained under the famed National Artist for Visual Arts, Guillermo Tolentino. Construction of the monument began in 1937 and completed in 1939.

The Rizal Shrine in Calamba (Filipino: Museo ni José Rizal Calamba) is a reproduction of the original two-story, Spanish-colonial style house in Calamba, Laguna where José Rizal was born on June 19, 1861. Rizal is regarded as one of the greatest national heroes of the Philippines.The house is designated as a National Shrine (Level 1) by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. It is located along Mercado Street and Rizal Street in Calamba's Poblacion 5 and is in close proximity to St. John the Baptist Parish Church and the City College of Calamba.

St. John the Baptist Parish Church (Filipino: Simbahan ng Parokya ni San Juan Bautista), commonly known as Calamba Church, is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines under the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Pablo. It is located adjacent to Rizal Shrine and is known as the christening site of José Rizal.

According to the 2020 census, Calamba has a population of 539,671 people, making it the most populous local government unit in Laguna. It is the fifth-densest city in the province with more than 2,600 people per square kilometer after San Pedro, Biñan, Cabuyao, and Santa Rosa. Based on the overall rankings of the 2014 Cities and Municipalities Index, the city ranked 18th in the overall competitiveness (cities ranking) and first among cities in the Calabarzon region. Calamba is known to be Calabarzon's richest city because of its numerous industries.Calamba is the hometown of the de facto Philippine national hero, José Rizal.

City College of Calamba (CCC) is a public college in Calamba, Laguna established in 2006. The institution was founded to provide education to the underprivileged. It is also subsidized by the city government and offers free tuition. City College of Calamba has degree programs in the fields of accountancy, computer science, primary and secondary education.

Laguna College of Business and Arts (formerly Laguna Institute) or LCBA is a private non-sectarian school in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. The campus was established in June 1930, as the first secondary school in Calamba.

Calamba station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Laguna, Philippines. It is one of two railway stations in the city and it is a major station on the line, serving as the junction between the South Main Line and the old Calamba–Batangas branch line which used to connect to Batangas City. It is also envisioned to be the terminus of the Commuter Express when rehabilitation work is complete. The station was first opened on January 24, 1909. Major landmarks near the station include SM City Calamba, the Calamba Central Bus and Jeepney Terminal, and the Calamba Medical Center.

Calamba Medical Center (CMC) is a private hospital in Calamba, located in the province of Laguna, Philippines. The medical center started as a 25-bed hospital in 1989.

The Calamba Bayside National High School is located in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. It was established in 1989 as the Lingga Rural High School.

Banlic station is an under-construction railway station located on the North–South Commuter Railway in Laguna, Philippines.

Pansol is an urban barangay in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. It is located at the southeast edge of the city. The barangay is situated at the foot of Mount Makiling near the city's border with Los Baños and is known for its hot springs.

Bucal is an urban and lakeside barangay in Calamba, Laguna, in the Philippines. Colloquially known by local drivers and passengers as Letran and sometimes JP-Rizal due to the two buildings being well known in the barangay, Bucal is the second tourist spot in the city along with Pansol. The barangay borders Laguna de Bay. Bucal's name originated from bukal or hot spring.
