Lierna Castle (Italian: Castello di Lierna) is a castle on the eastern side of Lake Como in Lombardy, Italy. The castle is built on a peninsula that protrudes into the lake and consists of a group of connected buildings, rather than a single building. The main portion of the current buildings was constructed in the 10th century in Romanesque style upon former Roman ruins. The castle includes the 11th-century church of Saints Maurice and Lazarus (Chiesa dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro), associated with the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus.The castle is occupied by the people of the frazione of Castello in the comune of Lierna. It is the northwesternmost of the eleven frazioni of Lierna comune.

San Vittore ("Saint Victor", Italian: Chiesa di San Vittore) is a parish church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milan in Esino Lario, Province of Lecco, Italy. It is located on a rocky outcrop and is dedicated to Victor Maurus (Victor the Moor), who died circa 303 in Milan.

Esino Lario (Italian pronunciation: [ˈeːzino ˈlaːrjo]; Lecchese: Esin [ˈeːzĩ]; locally Isen [ˈiːzẽ]) is a municipality (comune) of the Province of Lecco in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Milan, 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northwest of Lecco, and about 4.3 kilometres (2.7 mi) from the eastern shore of Lake Como. The area around Esino Lario is surrounded by Alpine mountains, where the karst landscape has produced sink-holes and caves, including the "Icebox of Moncodeno". The municipality is part of the Mountain Community of Valsassina, Valvarrone, Val d'Esino, and Riviera and is entirely within the "Regional Park of Northern Grigna" (Parco delle Grigna Settentrionale). Esino Lario borders the municipalities of Cortenova, Lierna, Mandello del Lario, Parlasco, Pasturo, Perledo, Primaluna, Taceno, and Varenna.

The Museo delle Grigne (Museum of Grigna) is the civic museum of Esino Lario in Italy. It preserves and presents to the public a collection of natural history materials including fossils, minerals, representations of phytoclimatic areas of the lake, dioramas of animals, and a collection of Italian butterflies, as well as archaeological and ethno-anthropological artifacts.

Fiumelatte is a river in northern Italy. It flows from a cavity in the Grigna into Lake Como, just south of Varenna, it has an approximate length of 250 m (820 ft). The name Fiumelatte, composed from fiume (Italian for "river") and latte ("milk"), is due to the milky white color of its water. Leonardo da Vinci while staying in Lierna studied it for a long time and mentions it in his Atlantic Codex. In the 1600s the sons of the high nobility had to visit it as part of the Grand Tour to form their culture.

Perledo (Comasco, Lecchese: Perled [perˈleːt]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 900 and an area of 12.5 square kilometres (4.8 sq mi).Perledo borders the following municipalities: Bellano, Esino Lario, Menaggio, Parlasco, San Siro, Varenna. Perledo includes the following "frazione" or hamlets: Tondello, Olivedo, Vezio, Regolo, Bologna, Gisazio, Regoledo, Cestaglia, Gittana, Riva di Gittana, Portone, Panighetto.Pereldo lies on the east shore of Lake Como, across the lake from the municipality of Menaggio.

Castello di Vezio is a castle located nearby Varenna and Perledo, northern Italy. Characterized in the main tower by square merlons, similar to Cly Castle in Aosta Valley, it commands the Lake Como. It was once connected by walls to the village of Varenna below.

Varenna-Esino-Perledo is a railway station at Perledo, on the Tirano–Lecco railway in Lombardy, in northern Italy. As the name implies, it also serves Esino Lario (12km away) and Varenna. Originally called Varenna, it changed its name to Varenna-Esino in 1935.The passenger building, on the west side of the line, has two storeys in a classic style, embellished by terracotta decorations typical of the line. The station has two tracks for passenger service. In the past, there was a small freight yard, whose warehouse still exists, and is used as a shop. The station is served by regional trains on the Calolziocorte-Lecco-Colico-Sondrio line, and RegioExpress trains in on the Milan-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano line.

Parlasco (Valassinese Lombard: Perlàsch) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region of Lombardy, about 60 kilometres (37 mi) north of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 147 and an area of 3.0 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi). Parlasco is one of the smallest Italian towns and it is located in the Parco Regionale della Grigna Settentrionale (Regional Park of the Northern Grigna) in Valsassina, just a few minutes from Lecco. It is on the main road connecting Lake Lecco to Valsassina and joins Alpe Cainallo with Cortenova. Colourful frescoes on house walls tell the story of Lasco the bandit, taken from a historical novel set in the 17th century that tells of the difficult life of inhabitants who were at the mercy of historical events and popular beliefs and oppressed by local landlords. The church of S. Antonio Abate. with paintings dating back to the 15th century, is also of interest. Parlasco borders the following municipalities: Bellano, Esino Lario, Perledo, Taceno, Vendrogno.
