New Art Exchange is a contemporary art gallery in Nottingham's Hyson Green neighborhood representing contexts of Black, Asian, and minority ethnic artists and communities. The organisation formed as a charity in 2003 from APNA Arts (a South Asian arts groups) and EMACA (East Midlands African Caribbean Arts), which educationalist and historian Len Garrison helped to establish.

The Forest is a tram stop on Nottingham Express Transit (NET) in the city of Nottingham. It takes its name from the nearby Forest Recreation Ground, the site of the city's famous annual Goose Fair. Trams heading north next call at the Noel Street stop, whilst trams coming south do so via the Hyson Green Market stop.The tram stop opened on 9 March 2004, along with the rest of NET's initial system.With the opening of NET's phase two, The Forest is now on the common section of the NET, where line 1, between Hucknall and Chilwell, and line 2, between Phoenix Park and Clifton, operate together. Trams on each line run at frequencies that vary between 4 and 8 trams per hour, depending on the day and time of day, combining to provide up to 16 trams per hour on the common section.

Djanogly City Academy is a City Academy secondary school in Nottingham, England. It has been open since 2003, when it replaced the oversubscribed Djanogly CTC, a City Technology College, which was then independent from local authority control. The academy specialises in the use of ICT and has been awarded the ICT Mark. It is named after its sponsor, textile millionaire Sir Harry Djanogly. Djanogly formerly operated on two sites – the 14–19 Centre in the old CTC building in Sherwood Rise, and the 11–14 Centre in a new building designed by Foster & Partners on the site of the former Forest Comprehensive School on Gregory Boulevard, opposite the Forest Recreation Ground. The Sherwood Rise site now accommodates the primary aged children. However, towards the end of the school year, year 11 students are accommodated here to study and take their gcse examinations.
