Monaville is an unincorporated community in Lake Villa Township, Lake County, Illinois, United States. Monaville is located at the junction of County Routes 18A and 65V near the southern border of Lake Villa.

The David Hall House is a historic house at 25420 W. Cedar Crest Lane in Lake Villa, Illinois. The house was built in 1931 for David and May Cave Hall, a wealthy couple who settled in Lake Villa after taking summer vacations there for many years. Architect Ralph Wesley Varney designed the building in the Art Deco with elements of popular revival styles of the period. An unusual choice for a residential building, the use of Art Deco was likely inspired by May's travels to Hollywood in the 1920s. The house's design includes a rusticated limestone exterior, large Gothic arch windows, a triangular canopy above the entrance, a metal oriel window, and a stepped roof. Its grounds include a swimming pool and terrace garden.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 25, 2014.

The station is officially located on Washington Street and Rollins Road (Lake County Roads 31 and A20), however the actual location is off of Rollins Road itself. The station is 47.8 miles (76.9 km) away from Union Station, the southern terminus of the line, and serves commuters between Union Station and nearby Fox Lake, Illinois. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Ingleside is in zone J. As of 2018, Ingleside is the 205th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 63 weekday boardings. The station exists along a railroad line that originally served the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. As of 2022, Ingleside is served by 11 inbound trains and 13 outbound trains on weekdays, by nine trains in both directions on Saturdays, and by all nine trains in both directions on Sundays. All trains that stop at Ingleside treat it as a flag stop. Ingleside station is little more than an enclosed shelter. Parking is available along the north side of the tracks on the southeast corner of Jefferson Avenue and Rollins Road to a plot of land that is in line with Madison Avenue, a street that dead ends north of Rollins Road. Washington Street merely intersects with Rollins Road and the main parking lot entrance. The station is near locations such as Duck Lake and Fox Lake Veterans Memorial Park.

Long Lake is considered a flag stop for four inbound trains and six outbound trains on weekends.

In 2008, the TechTalk Show was selected as one of Information Week's 100 Top Tech Finds. In 2010, Paste Magazine named WRLR-LP one of the 40 best little radio stations in the United States. In 2011, the Houston Press also named Subterranean, WRLR-LP's Thursday night underground rock show, "the best place to hear up and coming indie-rock in the entire world."WRLR-LP was also featured on Harry Porterfield's "Someone You Should Know" on WLS-TV, ABC's Chicago local station, broadcast March 9, 2009.

Wooster Lake is a lake in Lake County, Illinois, United States. It is located near Illinois Route 134 and Wilson Road, predominantly in unincorporated Ingleside, northeast of the Village of Volo, northwest of the Village of Round Lake, and southeast of the Village of Fox Lake.

Grass Lake School District 36 is a K-8 school district located in the southern reaches of the village of Antioch, which is in turn located in Lake County, the northeasternmost county in the state of Illinois. The superintendent of the school district is Dr. Terence O'Brien; because Grass Lake School District 36 only has one school. Donna Shupe serves as the principal of his district's only school. That school, which, as stated previously, is the only one that exists in District 36, is called Grass Lake School; it serves kindergarteners to eighth graders. The mascot is the brave, a historical nickname for the Native American. Grass Lake School was originally a one-room schoolhouse that served Lake County in the late 19th century; instead of closing, like so many of its counterparts, the main building was built up soon after the end of World War II came about; additions to the schoolhouse in the 1970s' allowed the new district to give rise to a full-fledged grade school. In the year 2000, more renovation expanded the school, and the old belfry that had served the school in past years was preserved in the school foyer. The school sports a cheerleading squad, a soccer team, a volleyball team, and a basketball team.
