Dallas College Richland Campus

Richland Collegiate High School (RCHS) of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering is a charter high school opened in 2006 at Dallas College in Dallas, Texas. Students can complete their last two years of high school at Dallas College, Richland Campus, taking college courses and earning college credits with a focus on mathematics, science, or engineering. RCHS students can graduate from Dallas College with an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree and a high school diploma, ready to transfer or enter as a freshman to a four-year university. In the fall semester of 2010, the Richland Collegiate High School of Visual, Performing, and Digital Arts opened.

Restland Memorial Park is a cemetery located in an unincorporated area of Dallas County, Texas between Dallas and Richardson. It is the final resting place of many prominent figures in the Dallas area, including politicians and professional athletes. It is located on 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243 North of I635 at Hwy 75, near Richland College.

LBJ/Central station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located at T.I. Boulevard and Markville Drive near the High Five Interchange in the Lake Highlands area. It opened July 1, 2002 and is a station on the Red Line and Orange Line, serving the headquarters of Texas Instruments and the nearby Dallas College Richland Campus. The Orange Line runs to Parker Road during rush hours. Other times, during off-peak (middays, late evenings and weekends), it terminates here instead. The columns supporting the station's roof have circuit boards embedded inside, owing to the area's prominence as a technology hub. The station is located across Interstate 635 from Texas Instruments.

North Dallas Adventist Academy (NDAA) is a Christian Adventist K-12 school in Richardson, Texas. It was founded as the Richardson Adventist School (RAS). The school in its current form opened in August 2008.

Buckingham is an area within Richardson, Texas, United States that was formerly a separate incorporated city. As of the 1990 census, the city had a total population of 102. Encompassing only 159 acres (0.6 km2), Buckingham, near Dallas, was surrounded by Richardson. In the early 1980s, real estate speculators bought most of the land, intending to create a planned development similar to the Las Colinas planned development in north Irving. To spur development, the residents voted to allow alcohol sales in the community before they were bought out. But the real estate market declined, and by the late 1980s, the development company went bankrupt. The 1990s brought more development to the area, though not without causing conflicts with nearby Richardson residents. At one point, conflicts between the cities led to school zone signs being removed from one Buckingham road, leading parents to stand alongside the road waving flags to warn motorists to slow down. In April 1996, though, conflicts between Buckingham and Richardson were resolved once and for all, when Buckingham's 159 acres (0.6 km2) were annexed into the city of Richardson. Since it allowed alcohol sales before annexation, it remained "wet", although the vast majority of Richardson was at the time "dry". (With the other exception being a small area of land annexed into Richardson along SH 190.) Richardson residents voted on whether to allow beer and wine sales in the 2006 general election. The measure passed with 68% in favor, so Richardson is no longer considered "dry."

Forest Meadow is a suburban residential neighborhood within the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas. The neighborhood is thought of today as being bounded by Greenville Avenue on the west, Whitehurst Drive on the south, Abrams Road on the east, and an alley demarcating the neighborhood from businesses and apartment blocks on Forest Lane to the north. However, the earliest plats identified by the name "Forest Meadows" were east of Abrams Road and some plats were south of Whitehurst Drive. These eastern areas are now generally considered part of Town Creek for neighborhood association purposes. Earlier plats used the name "Forest Meadows" and this nomenclature is also in use to describe neighborhoods in the area.

IANT Quranic Academy (IQA) is an Islamic private school in Richardson, Texas serving grades pre Kindergarten-12. It is a part of the Islamic Association of North Texas. The school was founded in 2002 with a Full Quran memorization, Hifz, Alim Studies ( Islamic Scholar), and Academic program ( pre K - 12 gragde) in response to the needs of thousands of American Muslims residing in the city and neighboring cities such as Dallas, Garland, Plano etc. It is one of the veteran Islamic schools in North Texas with 20 years of experience. 148 students graduated from IQA and 146 students became huffadh (memorized the Quran), and hundreds earned pre-alim diplomas.

The Islamic Association of North Texas (IANT) is a non-profit organization of Muslims dedicated to worship, education, and community service in Richardson, Texas. IANT provides many services to the North Texas community in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In addition to religious services such as the five daily prayers, weekly Friday sermons, Taraweeh prayers, community Iftars, Eid prayers, marriage ceremonies, counseling services, and Dawah work, IANT also provides several other educational and community services. IANT is also the mother-organization of the IANT Quranic Academy (IQA), Suffa Islamic Seminary (SIS), IANT Youth, and IANT Sports.

Spring Valley station is a DART Light Rail and bus station in Richardson, Texas. It is the fourth elevated Red Line station on the DART system, and it is located off Spring Valley Road, just east of US 75 (Central Expressway). It opened on July 1, 2002 and is a station on the Red Line, serving nearby residential areas and the nearby Fossil, Inc. The station provides both bus service and DART light rail service, along with over 400 free parking spaces ("Park and Ride"). In 2008, construction began just east of the station of a combination residential / retail development "Spring Valley Station District", a planned development district within the City of Richardson.

It is one of the top 10 semiconductor companies worldwide based on sales volume. The company's focus is on developing analog chips and embedded processors, which account for more than 80% of its revenue. TI also produces TI digital light processing technology and education technology products including calculators, microcontrollers, and multi-core processors. The company holds 45,000 patents worldwide as of 2016.Texas Instruments emerged in 1951 after a reorganization of Geophysical Service Incorporated, a company founded in 1930 that manufactured equipment for use in the seismic industry, as well as defense electronics. TI produced the world's first commercial silicon transistor in 1954, and the same year designed and manufactured the first transistor radio. Jack Kilby invented the integrated circuit in 1958 while working at TI's Central Research Labs. TI also invented the hand-held calculator in 1967, and introduced the first single-chip microcontroller in 1970, which combined all the elements of computing onto one piece of silicon.In 1987, TI invented the digital light processing device (also known as the DLP chip), which serves as the foundation for the company's DLP technology and DLP Cinema. TI released the popular TI-81 calculator in 1990, which made it a leader in the graphing calculator industry. Its defense business was sold to Raytheon Company in 1997; this allowed TI to strengthen its focus on digital solutions. After the acquisition of National Semiconductor in 2011, the company had a combined portfolio of 45,000 analog products and customer design tools. In the stock market, Texas Instruments is often regarded as an indicator for the semiconductor and electronics industry as a whole, since the company sells to more than 100,000 customers.

Audelia is an area in Dallas, Texas, United States that used to be a distinct unincorporated community in Dallas County. The Audelia site is located three miles south of what is now Richardson. By 1981 Audelia was within Dallas. The area is now part of the Lake Highlands area, sometimes being referred to as North Lake Highlands.

The High Five Interchange is one of the first five-level stack interchanges built in Dallas, Texas. Located at the junction of the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway (Interstate 635, I-635) and the Central Expressway (US Highway 75, US 75), it replaces an antiquated combination interchange constructed in the 1960s. The $261 million project was started in 2002 and completed in December 2005. It was designed by the HNTB Corporation and built by Zachry Construction Corporation. The interchange is considered by Popular Mechanics to be one of "The World's 18 Strangest Roadways" because of its height (as high as a 12-story building), its 43 permanent bridges, and other unusual design and construction features. In 2006, the American Public Works Association named the High Five Interchange as "Public Works Projects of the Year".
