Frost Hill is a mountain in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. It is located west of Bristol Springs in Ontario County. At an elevation of 2,284 feet (696 m), the mountain is the highest point in Ontario County. It is about 1.25 miles (2.01 km) southwest of the 2,150-foot (660 m) Worden Hill, where Bristol Mountain Ski Resort is.

C. E. K. Mees Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Bristol, New York, owned and operated by the University of Rochester. The observatory is named after C. E. Kenneth Mees, "in honor of his pioneering work in the development of sensitive photographic emulsions for use in astronomy." The site possesses a 24 in (61 cm) Cassegrain telescope on an English-style telescope mount in a two-story dome in addition to a 12 in (31 cm) Orion SkyQuest Dobsonian, an inoperative 6 in (15 cm) Newtonian reflector on a German equatorial mount, and a 6 in refractor used as a guide telescope. The observatory is notable as a premier location for astronomical observation in Ontario county due to the low levels of light pollution and relative elevation, given that it is situated on the highest point in Ontario county. The observatory also boasts a vacation home run by the University of Rochester which is used for public outreach, University faculty retreats, and astronomers who stay the night. WNBL (107.3 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to South Bristol, New York, and serving the Rochester metropolitan area. It is owned by iHeartMedia and airs an 80's hits radio format, known as Big 107.3. WNBL is a Class A station, operating at 650 watts. WNBL's transmitter is in South Bristol, New York, near the Bristol Mountain Ski Resort. The studios and offices are on Chestnut Street in Rochester, at Five Star Bank Plaza.In addition to its 80's music format WNBL also carries Rochester Knighthawks games and games from the New York Yankees Radio Network.

Honeoye Lake Boat Launch State Park is a nine-acre (3.6 ha) state park located along the southeastern shore of Honeoye Lake, one of New York's Finger Lakes. The park is located in Ontario County off East Lake Road, and offers a boat launch in addition to facilitating lake access for fishing and ice fishing.

Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area, also known as the Harriet Hollister Spencer Memorial Recreation Area, is a 1,550-acre (6.3 km2) recreation area and part of the New York state park system. It is located six miles (9.7 km) south of Honeoye, off Canadice Hill Road in the south part of the Town of Canadice in Ontario County, New York.

South Bristol is a town in Ontario County, New York, United States. The population was 1,651 at the 2020 census. The name is derived from its separation from the Town of Bristol. The Town of South Bristol is in the southwestern part of the county. It claims to be the smallest town (by population) in the county.

Bristol Mountain, formally known as Bristol Mountain Winter Resort, is a ski resort located in South Bristol, New York, in the Finger Lakes region. It is located 30 miles (48 km) from the center of Rochester, New York, the nearest major city to the resort, and about 10 miles (16 km) from Canandaigua on NY 64. Bristol Mountain features many trails ranging from easiest (green circle) to difficult (double black diamonds). Bristol Mountain has a vertical rise of 1,200 feet (370 m), claiming to have the highest vertical of any ski resort between the Rocky Mountains & the Adirondacks. Bristol also offers two terrain parks and cross country skiing at the resort's summit. Also at the bottom is a ski shop and rental facility. Bristol Mountain Resort operates Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures & Zip Line Canopy Tour, Roseland Waterpark, and Roseland Wake Park. In January 2018, two athletes who grew up in the Bristol Mountain Freestyle Program were named to the 2018 U.S. Olympic Freestyle Team: Morgan Schild (Freestyle Moguls) and Jonathon Lillis (Freestyle Aerials). Both learned their sport early under the direction of Bristol Mountain Freestyle Coach John Kroetz. In February 2022, Christopher Lillis, the younger brother of Jonathon Lillis, is set to compete in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.As of 2010, the resort has two high-speed detachable chairlifts. The Comet Express lift was installed for the 1999/2000 season and the Galaxy Express for the 2009/2010 season. Both make a full pass in about four minutes. In the autumn they offer Fall Sky Rides using the Comet Express High-Speed Quad chairlift slowed to take 15–20 minutes. Once at the top the riders may stay on and ride, hike down the trails, or reembark at the top. The Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventure Park, a high ropes course at the top of the mountain consisting of various climbing obstacles and zip lines, was added in 2014.

Wilder Cemetery is a historic cemetery located at South Bristol in Ontario County, New York. The cemetery was established in 1801 and contains about 60 stones dating from 1801 to 1900. It includes the graves of many of the early settlers of the crossroads hamlet of Mud Creek, a long gone settlement established by Gameliel Wilder in 1788.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Honeoye Lake ( HUN-ee-oy) is one of the Finger Lakes located in Ontario County, New York. Most of the lake is within the town of Richmond but a smaller southwestern part is in the town of Canadice. The hamlet of Honeoye is just north of the lake. The name Honeoye comes from the Seneca word ha-ne-a-yah, which means lying finger, or where the finger lies. The name comes from the local story of a Native American whose finger was bitten by a rattlesnake and who therefore cut off his finger with a tomahawk.

South Bristol Grange Hall 1107 is a historic Grange hall located at Bristol Springs in Ontario County, New York. It is a large 2+1⁄2-story, gable-roofed, vernacular frame building built in 1923.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
