Elm Spring Farm

Jefferson Township is one of fourteen townships in Morgan County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,274 and it contained 1,309 housing units.

Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 71,780. The county seat (and only incorporated city) is Martinsville. Morgan County is between Indianapolis, in Marion County, and Bloomington in Monroe County. It is included in the Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson, IN Metropolitan Statistical Area. Two major highways, Interstate 69 and Indiana State Road 67, carry large numbers of daily commuters between the two larger communities. The county has 14 townships which provide local services.

Lamb's Creek Bridge, also known as Morgan County Bridge No. 146 and Burnett's Creek Bridge, is a historic Pratt through truss bridge located in Jefferson Township, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1893 by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company. It is 85 feet (26 m) long and 16 feet (4.9 m) wide. It is supported by cast-in-place concrete abutments.: 5  The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Grassyfork Fisheries Farm No. 1, also known as Ozark Fisheries Shireman Farm, is a historic goldfish hatchery and national historic district located in Washington Township, Morgan County, Indiana. The Grassyfork Office and Display Room building was built in 1936, and is a one-story, rectangular, brick building with a hipped roof. It measures 36 feet by 100 feet. The property includes a variety of buildings, structures, and sites associated with the fish hatchery. Among them are a barn, six wells, two dams, remains of formal landscaping and rock garden, and all goldfish ponds, levees, and associated dirt roads.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Hyndsdale is an unincorporated community in Jefferson Township, Morgan County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.

Martinsville Sanitarium is a historic mineral water sanitarium located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1925–1926, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, "oriental brick" and limestone building with an eclectic combination of Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, Renaissance Revival, and Bungalow/American Craftsman style design elements. The main section measures 160 feet by 55 feet and has two projecting wings. It is topped by a cross-gabled hipped roof and features a sun porch, half-timbered gables, and overhanging eaves. The building faces the Martinsville Vandalia Depot.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Martinsville, also known as the Indianapolis and Vincennes Railroad Depot, is a historic train station located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built by the Indianapolis and Vincennes Railroad in 1911, and is a one-story, rectangular, Bungalow/American Craftsman style brick building. It has a bellcast red clay tile hipped roof and measures 24 feet by 75 feet. Passenger service on the line ended in 1940, and the building was subsequently used as a freight depot. The building faces the Martinsville Sanitarium. The building housed the Martinsville Chamber of Commerce and currently houses the Martinsville Arts Council.: 2, 8 It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 (#91000268) as the Martinsville Vandalia Depot.

Morgan County Sheriff's House and Jail is a historic combined jail and residence located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1890, and is a two-story, brick building with Italianate and Queen Anne style design elements. It has a cross-gable roof, arched openings, and terra cotta ornamentation.: 5–6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Martinsville station is a former interurban railway station in Martinsville, Indiana. Located at 154 North Main Street, it was the western terminus of the Martinsville line. The older, southern part of the station building was constructed in 1902 by the Indianapolis and Martinsville Rapid Transit Company and was the original waiting room and station for the interurban. Service began on April 21, 1903. Interurban trips ceased on October 31, 1930 as part of the process of Indiana Railroad taking over the Terre Haute, Indianapolis and Eastern Traction Company. The northern segment of the building was constructed around 1956 on top of the former balloon loop. A flooring and siding store moved in to the building after December 1978. The station was deemed a contributing property of the Martinsville Commercial Historic District when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Morgan County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built between 1857 and 1859, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Italianate style brick and stone building. It has a cruciform plan and features a five-level free-standing campanile. Additions were made in 1956 and 1975–1976. Associated with the courthouse is the original annex or Sheriff's House. It is a two-story, five bay by two-bay, I-house.: 5, 9 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It is located in the Martinsville Commercial Historic District.

Martinsville Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. The district encompasses 75 contributing buildings and 1 contributing object in the central business district of Martinsville. It developed between about 1847 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Classical Revival, and Tudor Revival style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Morgan County Courthouse and Blackstone House and Martinsville Telephone Company Building. Other notable buildings are the Martinsville Public Library (1906, 1990), Martinsville City Hall (1917), Martinsville Post Office (1935, 1974), Pitkin Building (c. 1900), Barskin's Department Store (1922), Indiana Theater (1914, 1927, 1939), Steven's House / Building (c. 1847, c. 1915), Hale Building (c. 1860, 1917), Interurban Station (1902, c. 1956), Union Block (1866), and First Christian Church (1891) and Annex (1927).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Hite-Finney House was a historic building at 183 North Jefferson Street in Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1855, and was a two-story, transitional Greek Revival / Italianate style brick I-house.: 2–3  The building partially collapsed in 2003. It was destroyed by fire in August 2006, and was fully demolished in October 2009.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1996. It was removed in 2012 after its destruction.
