Woolery Stone Company is a historic limestone quarry and manufacturing complex located at Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. The property includes a variety of buildings, structures, and objects associated with the production of dimensional limestone. These include the limestone faced International Style headquarters building, metal mill office, machine shop, blacksmith shop, limestone storage structure, limestone walls, and the grand scale all metal mill building.: 5–6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship (previously named "Bloomington New Tech High School") is a high school in Bloomington, Indiana, United States which utilizes Project Based Learning. The Academy opened in fall 2008 with a class size of 96 students, the school serves students in 9th-12th grades, and at the beginning, added a class each year, with up to 100 students per grade. In May 2009, the class of 2012 had 50-65 students, and 58 Students graduated in the class of 2012. The school has a 1:1 student to computer ratio. While this was remarkable at the creation of the school it has since become the standard across MCCSC.

Daniel Stout House, also known as the Old Stone House and Hubert Brown House, is a historic home located in Bloomington Township, Monroe County, Indiana. It was built in 1828, and is a two-story, stone dwelling representative of a pioneer farmhouse. It is believed that its builder Daniel Stout also helped to build Grouseland at Vincennes, Indiana. The house was restored in the 1940s.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is located in the Maple Grove Road Rural Historic District.

Ellettsville Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Ellettsville, Monroe County, Indiana. The district encompasses 50 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential sections of Ellettsville. It developed between about 1840 and 1953, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Early Commercial, Gothic Revival, and Bungalow/American Craftsman style architecture. Notable buildings include the Robert Stimson House (c. 1840), May Presley House (C. 1850), Bradford House (c. 1878), George W. Fletcher House (c. 1875), Wickens House (1909), Capt. Gilbert Perry House (c. 1890), I.O.O.F. Building (c. 1885), Town Hall (1927), Masonic Building (1895), Knights of Pythias Building (c. 1895), First United Methodist Church (1900), and First Baptist Church (1909).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
