Saddle Brook High School is a six-year comprehensive community public high school that serves students in seventh through twelfth grades from Saddle Brook, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Saddle Brook Public Schools. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 762 students and 65.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.6:1. There were 99 students (13.0% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 29 (3.8% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 14,294, an increase of 635 (+4.6%) from the 2010 census count of 13,659, which in turn reflected an increase of 504 (+3.8%) from the 13,155 counted in the 2000 census.

As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 5,814, an increase of 284 (+5.1%) from the 2010 census count of 5,530, which in turn reflected an increase of two people (+0.0%) from the 5,528 counted in the 2000 census.What is now Rochelle Park was originally incorporated as Midland Township on March 7, 1871, from portions of New Barbadoes Township. Portions of the township were taken to form the boroughs of Delford (on March 8, 1894; now Oradell), Maywood (June 30, 1894), Riverside (also June 30, 1894; now River Edge) and Paramus (March 2, 1922). Rochelle Park was formed as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on November 5, 1929, replacing Midland Township, based on the results of a referendum held on that same day that passed by a 503–69 margin. The main impetus behind the change in name was to avoid confusion with the nearby community of Midland Park. The township was named for the port city of La Rochelle, France.

As of the 2021–22 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,852 students and 130.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.2:1.

Midland Township was a township in Bergen County, New Jersey, in the United States, that was formed on March 7, 1871, from portions of New Barbadoes Township.

Passaic Junction is a rail yard owned by New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway along the border of Elmwood Park and Saddle Brook in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The yard is also known by its telegraph call 'PC'. In the late 19th century, this area had been known as Coalburg Junction. The yard has a connection to and is the official interchange location with Norfolk Southern. Used as a customer car storage yard but has been surrounded by a few small industries. A team track is also located here. At the west end of the yard beyond the Bergen County Line overhead crossing is Passaic Branch junction.

Riverside Cemetery is a plot-holder owned Jewish cemetery with over 65,000 burials located in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, located 9 miles (14 km) west of the George Washington Bridge. The cemetery maintains over 25,000 individual plantings on graves throughout the property. Prior to becoming a cemetery, the land was the property of Richard Romaine. Bergen County Historical Society maps indicate a main house of early Italianate design (current office), a grist mill and a saw mill on the property (the mills were removed prior to establishment of the cemetery).

Cornelius Demarest House is located in Rochelle Park, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983.

The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 916 students and 69.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.3:1. There were 295 students (32.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 86 (9.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Garden State Plaza (officially Westfield Garden State Plaza) is a shopping mall located in Paramus, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Owned and managed by Paris-based real estate management company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the mall is situated at the intersection of Route 4 and Route 17 near the Garden State Parkway, about 15 miles (24 km) west of the New York City borough of Manhattan. In a study of malls in the United States performed on behalf of CNBC, published in 2018, Garden State Plaza ranked ninth in the nation, based on sales of $950 per square foot. Most of the mall, especially retail outlets, is closed on Sunday in accordance with state and local blue laws. Since April 2023, minors under the age of 18 are required to have an adult over 21 supervise them on Friday and Saturday nights.In a borough where half of the property tax revenue comes from retail properties, Garden State Plaza accounts for 10% of the property taxes collected in Paramus.As of August 2022, its anchors are Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and AMC Theatres.

Easton Tower is a historic building located in the Arcola area of Paramus, New Jersey, and originally used as the housing for a water pump on the estate of businessman Edward D. Easton. It was built in 1899 and is located next to the Saddle River at the intersection of Red Mill & Paramus roads.

Plauderville is a NJ Transit train station located in Garfield, New Jersey, United States, served by the Bergen County Line. The station is in the north side of the city on Midland Avenue between Plauderville Avenue and Outwater Lane. The station is a full-service station as of April 2012, and has high-level platforms making the station accessible for people with disabilities. Starting in 2009, with money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, New Jersey Transit received funds to construct high-level platforms at Plauderville on the south side of Midland Avenue. Trains used the low-level platform until October 10, 2011, when trains were moved to the completed high-level platforms. The new high-level platform station was constructed by Anselmi & DeCicco, Inc. of Maplewood, New Jersey.
