Gonderange (Luxembourgish: Gonnereng, German: Gonderingen) is a town in the commune of Junglinster, in central Luxembourg. As of 2018, the town has a population of 1,735 inhabitants.Cyclist Franz Neuens, who competed at the 1936 Summer Olympics, was born here.

Junglinster (Luxembourgish: Jonglënster) is a commune in central Luxembourg, which draws its name from its principal town, Junglinster. It is one of six communes in the Luxembourg canton of Grevenmacher. The 18th-century St Martin's church is a national monument.

St Martin's church is an 18th-century listed building and Catholic parish church in Junglinster, Grevenmacher (Luxembourg). It contains artworks and monuments from the older parish church that the building replaced. The oldest monuments commemorate members of the noble d'Orley family, to whom the Renaissance artist Bernard van Orley was related.

Hostert (Luxembourgish: Hueschtert) is a small town in the commune of Niederanven, in central Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 358.

Football Club Union Sportive Hostert A.s.b.l. is a football club, based in Hostert, Niederanven, in central Luxembourg. In 2011, the club was promoted to the highest tier for the first time in its history. The club is also a home to many youth teams. These include the minimes, poussins, scolaires and peuppilles. The club hosts the AC Milan camp for youths as well as an international football camp.

Niederanven (Luxembourgish: Nidderaanwen [nidəˈʀaːnvən] ; German: Niederanwen) is a commune Luxembourg, located north-east of Luxembourg City, and derives its name from principal town, Niederanven. As of 2018, it has a population of 6,156. The commune of Niederanven is the intersection for the A1 motorway and N1. Luxembourg Airport is located within the boundaries of the communes Niederanven and Sandweiler.

Rodenbourg (Luxembourgish: Roudemer, German: Rodenburg) is a village in the commune of Junglinster, in central Luxembourg. As of 2018, the village has a population of 159 inhabitants.Rodenbourg gave its name to a commune in the canton of Grevenmacher until 1 January 1979, when it was merged into the commune of Junglinster. The law merging Rodenbourg into Junglinster was passed on 23 December 1978.

Luxair Flight 9642 (LG9642/LGL9642) was a scheduled international passenger flight from Berlin Tempelhof Airport, Germany, to Luxembourg Findel Airport, Luxembourg, operated by Luxembourg national airline Luxair. On 6 November 2002, the aircraft operating the flight, a Fokker 50 registered as LX-LGB, lost control and crashed onto a field during an attempted landing at the airport. Out of 22 passengers and crew members on board, only two people survived. The crash is the deadliest aviation disaster to occur in Luxembourg.Luxembourg's Administration for Technical Investigations (AET) concluded that the crash was caused by pilot error. The crew decided to accept the approach clearance that had been given by the ATC even though they had not conducted enough preparation for the landing, leading the crew to conduct a series of improvised actions. Their actions led to the override of a certain safety features that would have prevented the propellers from entering the reverse angle, enabling the propellers to enter the reverse angle in flight and led to the lost control situation.: 61–62 The result of the investigation highlighted the possible safety risk regarding the protection system against an accidental deployment of reverse angle in turboprops during mid-flight, prompting Fokker to issue a mandatory modification on the safety feature.: 63–65 

The Junglinster Longwave Transmitter is a longwave broadcasting facility used by RTL near Junglinster, Luxembourg, which went into service in 1932. Its aerial consists of three free-standing steel-framework towers, which are ground fed radiators. These towers formed a directional aerial for the frequency 234 kHz and until 1980 were 250 metres high. Since 1980 their height has been 215 metres. Junglinster longwave transmitter was at time of inauguration one of the most powerful transmitters in the world. It was discovered that its signal can under some conditions show cross modulation with other radio stations by ionospheric reflection. This phenomenon was named "Luxembourg effect" after the circumstance that it was first detected at the signal of this transmitter in Luxembourg. Since the inauguration of the Beidweiler longwave transmitter the Junglinster longwave transmitter has been only a spare. Also at the site of Junglinster Longwave Transmitter are the shortwave transmitters of RTL, at the frequencies 6090 kHz and 15350 kHz were used. Transmitting on 6090 kHz, it is of special interest as it was (until the 80s) one of the best known radio stations in Germany and several radio sets had a special switch for its reception, the so-called "Luxembourg"-switch. Today this transmitter works in DRM mode. From 1951 on the site of Junglinster Longwave transmitter was also the mediumwave transmitter. It moved to Marnach in 1955.

Oberanven (Luxembourgish: Ueweraanwen) is a small town in the commune of Niederanven, in central Luxembourg. As of 2005, the town has a population of 627. It is the administrative centre of the commune of Niederanven: new headquarters having been built in the town in 2005.It is a very wealthy village with many mansions.

Rameldange (Luxembourgish: Rammeldang, German: Rammeldingen) is a small town in the commune of Niederanven, in central Luxembourg. As of 2018, the town has a population of 671.

Bourglinster Castle (Luxembourgish: Schlass Buerglënster; French: Château de Bourglinster; German: Schloss Burglinster) is located in the village of Bourglinster in central Luxembourg some 17 km (11 mi) to the east of Luxembourg City. Now housing a restaurant and facilities for business and cultural gatherings, the castle has a history stretching back to the 11th century.
