Clunette is an unincorporated community located in Prairie Township, Kosciusko County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The Hall Farm (Clunette, Indiana) and the Clunette Elevator are both located in Clunette. The Clunette Cemetery is just outside the community, and the Clunette United Methodist Church is located in nearby Leesburg, Indiana.

Prairie Township is one of seventeen townships in Kosciusko County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,651 and it contained 671 housing units.

Leesburg Historic District is a national historic district located at Leesburg, Kosciusko County, Indiana. The district encompasses 21 contributing buildings, and 1 contributing structure in the central business district and surrounding residential section of Leesburg. It developed between about 1865 and 1936, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Late Victorian, and Early Commercial style architecture. Notable buildings include the Public Works Administration funded Town Hall (1936), Masonic / IOOF Building (1890), D.K. Brown Building (1890), Wallace House (c. 1890), and Hart Brown House (1900).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Leesburg is a town in Plain Township, Kosciusko County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 978 at the 2020 census. The town of Leesburg was laid out in 1833 by Levi Lee. It includes the Leesburg Historic District.

The bridge is significant locally as the only Pratt through-truss bridge remaining in Kosciusko County, and is important regionally as one of the few surviving spans built by the Bellefontaine Bridge and Iron Company.Just west of the bridge was a ford across the Tippecanoe River. The Yellowstone Trail passed on the south side of the river. A marker has been maintained at this location consisting of a post with yellows bands and a "Y" in a black circle. In 1884, a new bridge across the Tippecanoe River was requested to connect Warsaw, on the south with Atwood and Etna Green on the north. It crossed the property of Robert Chinworth. Capt. David Braden working for the Bellefontaine Bridge and Iron Company agreed to erect a 140 feet (43 m) span over the Tippecanoe River, at a total cost of $2520.00. The bridge opened in August, 1897. In 1924, with the construction of U.S. 30 the Chinworth Bridge was bypassed as it could not handle modern vehicular traffic. The Indiana State Highway Commission, created Tippecanoe Rest Area adjacent to the Chinworth Bridge.In 1975, the enhanced 4-lane U.S. 30 was located north of the Chinworth Bridge. The bridge was closed to all vehicular traffic at that time. In July the Kosciusko County Historical Society obtained the Tippecanoe Rest Park from the State Highway Department. The KCHS dedicated the bridge as a historic landmark on July 6, 1975.

Kosciusko County ( KOS-kee-US-koh) is a county in the U.S. state of Indiana. At the 2020 United States Census, its population was 80,240. The county seat (and only incorporated city) is Warsaw.The county was organized in 1836. It was named for the Polish general Tadeusz Kościuszko who served in the American Revolutionary War and then returned to Poland. The county seat is named for Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

The Warsaw Courthouse Square Historic District is a historic district in Warsaw, Indiana that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Its boundaries were increased in 1993.

The first Kosciusko County Jail was built in 1837 of 14 inches (36 cm) square logs. It was two stories tall with a trap door from the second story floor to access the ground floor. The next jail was made of brick. Like the first jail, it was located on Courthouse Square. By 1869 this second structure was in serious need of repair. Frequent jail breaks from the second jail, led the county to hire George Garnsey of Chicago to design a new jail. The most notable jailbreak resulted when prisoners pushed bricks out of the wall.The "Castellated Gothic" design represents the late 1800s American jail design standards. The massive, rough stone blocks suggest a feeling of strength and permanence. Narrow windows and second story main entrance imply the restrictive function of the structure. To stop future jailbreaks, iron dowel rods pierced the stone blocks. This would prevent the stones from being pushed out. The jail was completed in 1870, one block east of the courthouse square. The cost was $48,000, and the builder was Richard Epperson.The second story contained the sheriff's residence. Thus the sheriff was always on duty and acted as a live-in warden. The most notable prisoners held were several Culver bank robbers who were defended in Warsaw by Clarence Darrow. Later they would be involved in the John Dillinger escape in Lake County, Indiana.
