Warriewood Square

Warriewood Wetlands is located in suburban Warriewood, 20 km (12 mi) from the centre of Sydney, Australia. The reserve consists of 26 hectares (64 acres) with several Endangered Ecological Communities with various habitats for indigenous animals. Many species of birds have been recorded, including rarely seen species in Sydney.

Narrabeen Sports High School (abbreviated as NSHS) is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive and specialist secondary day school, with speciality in sports, located on Namona Street and Pittwater Road, in North Narrabeen, in the northern beaches region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established as Narrabeen Girls' High School and in 1959 as Narrabeen Boys' High School, the schools merged in 1976 to form Narrabeen High School; and then, in 2000, became the first specialist sports high school in New South Wales as Narrabeen Sports High School. The school caters for approximately 850 students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education; the principal is Heidi Currie. Narrabeen Sports High School is a member of the NSW Sports High Schools Association.

Turimetta Beach is a beach in Sydney's Northern Beaches. It is 350 metres long and is backed by steep bluffs. Swimming can be hazardous because of rips that usually form at the centre and both ends of the beach. The beach is not patrolled by lifeguards. Turimetta is more often than not a swimmers' beach only. The surf quality is poor and surfers usually frequent North Narrabeen Beach to the south or Warriewood Beach to the north. In 2016, a swimmer drowned in the surf and a 14-year-old boy required rescue from the rocks closer to the northern end of the beach.The headland is a popular rock fishing spot so many shark sightings, both confirmed and unconfirmed, have occurred.

Pittwater Park is a rugby stadium in Warriewood, New South Wales, Australia. It is located 500 metres from North Narrabeen beach within the reserve of the area. The park is more colloquially known as Rat Park being named after the Warringah Rugby Club whose official mascot is a rat. The ground was established in 1971, over the years, basic facilities have been added, such as the 1,000-seat grandstand, clubhouse, and training field. Lights have also been installed on the main field. It is mainly used for rugby union and has been the home ground of the Warringah Rugby Club since 1975. The stadium has a capacity of 6,000.

North Narrabeen is a suburb in northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 25 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council. North Narrabeen is part of the Northern Beaches region. North Narrabeen lies on the northern shores of Narrabeen lagoon, bounded by Warriewood to the north, Elanora Heights to the west and extends east to the ocean at Narrabeen Head. Narrabeen is opposite on the southern shore of the lagoon. The northern section of Narrabeen Beach is known as North Narrabeen Beach. This ocean beach, together with the North Narrabeen Surf Lifesaving Club, are to the south of the lagoon in the suburb of Narrabeen.

Narrabeen Man is the name given to a 4,000-year-old skeleton of a tall Aboriginal Australian man found in Narrabeen, a suburb of the Northern Beaches region of Sydney, in January 2005.

Mona Vale Hospital is located in the suburb of Mona Vale, on the Northern Beaches of metropolitan Sydney, Australia. It is a public hospital managed by New South Wales Health, and part of the Northern Sydney Local Health District.The hospital was incorporated on 21 November 1958 under the Public Hospitals Act 1929, and opened on 22 February 1964 by the then Minister for Health, the Hon. William Francis Sheahan. It initially accommodated 152 inpatients, with acute specialty services in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine, General Paediatrics, Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care. The Accident and Emergency department opened shortly thereafter, on 23 March 1964. Finally, in 1975, a 43-bed Paediatric Unit was opened on Level 6, replacing a staff canteen.In October 2018 the majority of acute specialty services were transferred to the newly built, semi-private Northern Beaches Hospital. As a result, Mona Vale Hospital was redeveloped to include a range of sub-acute inpatient services, including geriatric, rehabilitation and palliative Care, as well as the establishment of an outpatient community health centre for allied health and nursing reviews. The hospital features a 24-hour urgent care centre equivalent to a level one emergency department. A February 2020 report into the poor performance of the Northern Beaches Hospital recommended restoring the status of Mona Vale Hospital to a “Level Three” emergency department but this was rejected by the NSW Government.In September 2020 the NSW Government confirmed its plans to demolish the main hospital building because it contained asbestos, despite significant local opposition. Demolition works began in 2021 and by May 2021 the main hospital building had been completely removed.

It was established in 1962 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan and is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay.

Elanora Heights is a suburb in northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Elanora Heights is 27 kilometres north-east of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council. Elanora Heights is part of the Northern Beaches region.

Pittwater Council was a local government area on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It covered a region adjacent to the Tasman Sea about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of the Sydney central business district. The area is named after Pittwater, the body of water adjacent to much of the area governed. First proclaimed in 1906 as the A Riding of Warringah Shire, the area was proclaimed as the Municipality of Pittwater on 1 May 1992. On 12 May 2016, the Minister for Local Government announced that Pittwater Council would be subsumed into the newly formed Northern Beaches Council. The last mayor of Pittwater Council was Councillor Jacqui Townsend, an independent politician.

Mona Vale is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 28 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in an area known as the Northern Beaches. Formerly the administrative centre of Pittwater Council, it is now located in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council. The traditional custodians of the area are the Garigal people. It is often colloquially referred to as "Mona".
