Machtum

Wellen is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

The District of Grevenmacher (1843 – 3 Oct 2015) was one of three districts of Luxembourg. It had a per capita income of $57,800. After the reorganization of Luxembourg's administrative divisions in 2015, all three districts were abolished per 3 October 2015.

Nittel (German pronunciation: [ˈnɪtl̩]; Luxembourgish: Nëttel [ˈnətəl]), on the Upper Moselle, is an Ortsgemeinde ("village municipality") in the Landkreis [county] of Trier-Saarburg in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde [United Municipalities] of Konz. The place, located between dolomite and limestone cliffs, is a nationally recognized resort.

Grevenmacher (German pronunciation: [ɡʁeːvn̩ˈmaxɐ]; Luxembourgish: Gréiwemaacher [ɡʀəɪvəˈmaːχɐ] ) is a commune with town status in eastern Luxembourg, near the border with Germany. It gives its name to and is the capital of the canton of Grevenmacher, and, until its abolition in 2015, the district of Grevenmacher. The town is situated on the left bank of the river Moselle, in a wine growing region.As of 2018, the commune of Grevenmacher has a population of 4,921.

The Butterfly Garden or Jardin des Papillons is located in Grevenmacher in eastern Luxembourg. Owned by the elisabeth group, the indoor site presents over 40 species of butterflies in 600 square meters of natural surroundings .

Oberdonven (Luxembourgish: Uewerdonwen) is a village in the commune of Flaxweiler, in north-eastern Luxembourg and belongs to the region called "Éislek". As of 2001, the village had a population of 155.

Ahn (Luxembourgish: Ohn) is a wine-growing village in the municipality of Wormeldange in the district and canton of Grevenmacher in the southeastern side of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. In 2005, the population is 208. The bottom part of the village lies along the Moselle River on National Route 10. On the Moselle River, from the height of 459 feet (140 meters), the community is spread to the west through the valley of the Donwerbach and up to the height of 656 feet (200 meters). Besides the National Route, Ahn is also on the road known as the CR142, which leads to Potaschberg through Flaxweiler from Ahn on the National Route 10.

Op Flohr Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Grevenmacher, Luxembourg. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of CS Grevenmacher. The stadium holds 4,062 people.

Niederdonven (Luxembourgish: Nidderdonwen) is a small town in the commune of Flaxweiler, in the canton of Grevenmacher in south-eastern Luxembourg. The town name refers to the crop Flax which once grew there. As of 2001, the town has a population of 305. The municipality is made up of five villages: Flaxweiler, Gostingen, Oberdonven, Niederdonven and Beyren. The town of Buchholz also belongs to Flaxweiler.

Munschecker (Luxembourgish: Mënjecker) is a village in the commune of Manternach, in eastern Luxembourg. As of 2005, the village has a population of 146.

Temmels is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Manternach railway station (Luxembourgish: Gare Manternach, French: Gare de Manternach, German: Bahnhof Manternach) is a railway station serving Manternach, in eastern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. The station is situated on Line 30, which connects Luxembourg City to the east of the country and Trier.
