Berg Castle (Luxembourgish: Schlass Bierg, pronounced [ˈʃlɑs ˈbiːɐ̯ɕ]; French: Château de Berg; German: Schloss Berg), also called Colmar-Berg, is the principal residence of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. It is situated in the town of Colmar-Berg, in central Luxembourg, near the confluence of the Alzette and the Attert, two of Luxembourg's most important rivers.

The Attert (French pronunciation: [atɛʁt], German pronunciation: [ˈatɐt]; Luxembourgish: Atert) is a river flowing through Belgium and Luxembourg, left tributary of the Alzette. Its length is 38 kilometres (24 mi), of which 32 kilometres (20 mi) are in Luxembourg and 6 kilometres (4 mi) in Belgium. Its source is in Nobressart, north-west of Arlon, in the Belgian province Luxembourg. It flows into the river Alzette at Colmar-Berg. It flows through the village of Attert in Belgium, and the towns of Redange, Useldange, Boevange-sur-Attert, and Bissen in Luxembourg.

Colmar-Berg (Luxembourgish: Colmer-Bierg, German: Colmar-Berg) is a commune and town in central Luxembourg, in the canton of Mersch. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Attert and Alzette. Colmar-Berg is the site of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg's principal residence, Berg Castle. It is also the site of a Goodyear tyre factory. The commune was known as simply "Berg" until 25 March 1991. The "Centre de Formation pour Conducteurs" (French for "Drivers' Training Centre") is also in Colmar-Berg. Every person has to make an "Obligatory Course" after they got their driving license in order for it to become a definitive license. This has to be done in the timespan after three months and before two years after the person passed their practical driving test.

Birtrange Castle (Luxembourgish: Schlass Biertreng; French: Château de Birtrange) is a castle near Schieren, Luxembourg.The castle was constructed in the 13th century by Gaspard-Florent de Breiderbach, and built in an English Gothic style. It was acquired in 1813 by the De Blochhausen family, who held the castle until 1935, when it came to be under the control of the De Broqueville family. During World War II American troops were stationed inside of the building. Inscriptions and graffiti made by these soldiers can still be seen on the castle walls. The castle was abandoned in 2002.After the death of Baroness Claudine de Broqueville the castle was donated to the Red Cross. The Baroness wished for a music festival to be organized on the property following her death. In honor of this wish, the Red Cross organized a 3 day long festival hosting 2500 people from August 2-August 4, 2019. There were numerous objections to this event based on potential environmental damage. According to Carole Dieschbourg, the Minister of the Environment, there were not sufficient criteria to forbid the festival. Sam Tanson, the Minister of Culture, and Dieschbourg stated that they would not permit any damage to the site. Guards were sent to the castle to monitor the festival. Numerous bins were placed on the site and chemical products were prohibited. The music was also limited to ensure potential damage to the building was limited. If any damage occurred, the organizers would be held responsible.In 2022, the Red Cross expressed a desire to auction off the castle due to its poor condition and high maintenance costs, the proceeds of which would be reinvested by the Red Cross into other efforts. The Red Cross held an auction, and the minimum bid was 5.2 million euros. Luxembourgish entrepreneur Jos Bourg bought the home, and he began renovation work on the castle. Schieren is a commune and town in central Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Diekirch. The town of Schieren, which lies in the west of the commune, has a population of 2,149. Schieren is served by a railway station. Schieren was formed on 1 July 1850, when it was detached from the commune of Ettelbruck, along with the commune of Erpeldange. The law forming Schieren was passed on 22 January 1850.In 1894, Schieren established a fire station with five volunteer firefighters. It has a notable church.

The Circuit Goodyear is a motor racing circuit in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg. The circuit is owned and used as a testing venue by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Stade Am Deich is a football stadium in Ettelbruck, in central Luxembourg. It is currently the home stadium of FC Etzella Ettelbruck. The stadium has a capacity of about 2,020.

The Wark (Luxembourgish: Waark) is a river flowing through Luxembourg, joining the Alzette at Ettelbruck. It flows through the towns of Mertzig, Feulen, Welscheid and Warken.
