The Southwest Branch Rancocas Creek is a 13.8-mile-long (22.2 km) tributary of the South Branch Rancocas Creek in Burlington County, New Jersey in the United States.The Southwest Branch Rancocas Creek drains approximately 142 square kilometers.

Eayrestown is an unincorporated community located within Lumberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is named for Richard and Elizabeth Eayres, the first settlers of the site in the 1600s. It was also the first settlement in what is now Lumberton Township. The settlement, located along the South Branch Rancocas Creek, was the site of numerous saw and gristmills early in its history and a picnic grove that attracted people from around the area. Today, numerous farms and housing developments dot the area.

On 8 September 2017, a Schweizer 269C helicopter crashed after an uncontrolled descent during a power-off landing attempt at the Flying W Airport in Medford, New Jersey, United States. The aircraft had experienced engine trouble during a local sightseeing flight for the benefit of passenger Troy Gentry, founder and member of the popular American country music band Montgomery Gentry, which was scheduled to perform at a resort at the airport later that day. The pilot died at the scene; Gentry was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.

Lumberton is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The township, and all of Burlington County, is a part of the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden combined statistical area and the Delaware Valley. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 12,803, an increase of 244 (+1.9%) from the 2010 census count of 12,559, which in turn reflected an increase of 2,098 (+20.1%) from the 10,461 counted in the 2000 census.Lumberton was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 14, 1860, from portions of Medford, Southampton and Eastampton townships. Fostertown is an unincorporated community located within Lumberton Township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The site was founded in 1735 by William Foster, who established a plantation on modern-day West Bella Bridge Road. The area is largely farmland with some houses and a high-voltage power line dotting the landscape.

The Jonathan Haines House, also known as Friendship Farm, is located on Fostertown Road, north of Church Road, in the township of Medford in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. The oldest section of the house was built around 1690 by John Haines. The historic Quaker farmhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 16, 1976, for its significance in agriculture and architecture. The house was first expanded in 1720 by Jonathan Haines with a two-story frame wing. Joseph Haines expanded it in 1808. A two-story brick wing was added around 1850. The house was in the Haines family until 1919. The family also built Kirby's Mill, originally known as Haines' Mill, on the Southwest Branch Rancocas Creek.

Kirby's Mill is a historic grist mill in Medford, Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. Originally known as Haines Mill, it was built in 1778 by Isaac Haines and partners along the Southwest Branch of Rancocas Creek. It was the last commercial operating mill in New Jersey.

The South Branch Rancocas Creek is a 21.7-mile-long (34.9 km) tributary of Rancocas Creek in Burlington County, New Jersey in the United States. The South Branch Rancocas Creek drains an area of 144 square miles. Much of the upland agriculture within the Rancocas Creek basin lies inside the South Branch Rancocas Creek basin. It is also among the least developed parts of the Rancocas Creek watershed.

Sharps Run is a 4.04-mile (6.50 km) stream that drains into the Southwest Branch Rancocas Creek, in Burlington County, New Jersey. It drains an area of 4.41 square miles (11.4 km2).Sharps Run starts in Evesham Township, and flows eastward into Medford Township. Sharps Run has been defined as a low-gradient stream. In recent years, Sharps Run has improved in water quality.Sharps Run's headwaters lie in Evesham Township, near N. Elmwood Road, and its confluence with Southwest Branch Rancocas Creek is in Medford Township. Sharps Run is generally a slow-flowing river, but has been known to flood and flow rapidly during rain. It drains mostly a suburban/rural area, with plenty of woodlands and agriculture. Freshwater emergent wetlands and freshwater forested wetlands can be found along Sharps Run. Because of marl excavations in the past, there are still some pits that have filled with water and are now wetlands. The elevation ranges from about 55 to 60 feet (17 to 18 m) feet at the start of the river, and 20 feet (6.1 m) at the mouth, though the tributaries have higher elevations near the headwaters.
