San Diego Civic Theatre

The San Diego City Council is the legislative branch of government for the city of San Diego, California. The city council was first established in San Diego in 1850. The council uses a strong mayor system with a separately elected mayor who acts as the executive. There are currently nine members of the council. City council members serve a four-year term and are limited to two successive terms.

It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is 11 stories high and has 270 guest rooms in addition to meeting rooms and multiple ballrooms.

225 Broadway is the 41st tallest building in San Diego, California and is a prominent fixture in San Diego's skyline. The 23-story skyscraper has a height of 306 ft (93 m) and is located in the Horton Plaza district of Downtown San Diego and was home to the area NBC owned-and-operated station KNSD from 2001 until 2016, during which time it was known as the NBC Building and bore NBC signage. The skyscraper is built to the International Style.

Wells Fargo Plaza is the 26th tallest building in San Diego, California and is a prominent fixture in San Diego's skyline. The 23-story skyscraper has a height of 339 ft (103 m) and is located in the Core district of Downtown San Diego. The skyscraper utilizes a modern architectural style and was designed by the architect firm Carrier Johnson Architects.

Fountain of Two Oceans is an outdoor 1984 fountain and sculpture by Sergio Benvenuti, installed in San Diego, in the U.S. state of California. It features a nude man and woman facing one another.

The Sofia Hotel, formerly the Pickwick Terminal Hotel, is a historic hotel in San Diego, in the U.S. state of California. Construction began in 1926. It opened in May 1927. The hotel was also inducted into Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, in 2008.
