12th Street station is a future DART Light Rail and commuter rail station along the Red Line, Orange Line (Rush Hour only) and the Silver Line in Plano, Texas. The station has two levels, with the ground-level at 12th Street & K Avenue serving the Silver Line and the elevated level (two blocks west at 1000 12th Street) serving the Red Line and the Orange Line. The City of Plano approved the purchase of a piece of land in February 2015 in anticipation of its construction.The two platforms will be connected by a sidewalk about 500 feet (150 m) long. The station's bus bays and parking lots will be next to the Silver Line platform: the bus bays and a small parking lot on its north side and a larger parking lot on its south side.The station is scheduled to open with the completion of the Silver Line in late 2025 to mid-2026.

Collin Creek Mall was a two-level, enclosed regional mall in Plano, Texas opened in 1981 and closed for redevelopment in 2019. It was located near the intersection of US 75 (Central Expressway) and President George Bush Turnpike. Since September 2019, the mall has been partially demolished with the central section planned to become part of a $1 billion mixed-use development, designed by Centurion American Development Group.

Located in Plano, Texas, PCA utilized the Trivium, a three-stage integrative and cyclical approach to learning that introduces students to many of the influential works that shaped Western civilization.

Plano Station, Texas Electric Railway, now known as the Interurban Railway Museum, is a historic train station at 901 E 15th Street in Plano, Texas. It is still served by the Downtown Plano station of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit light rail, which reutilized the right of way of the interurban. The Mission Revival/Spanish Revival style station was completed in 1908 at the opening of the Texas Electric Railway. The railway operated from 1908 to 1948. The station stood vacant until the City of Plano renovated it into the Interurban Railway Museum in 1990. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 10, 2005. The museum also displays Car 360, a restored railcar of the Texas Electric Railway, on the grounds.

It opened on December 9, 2002. It is located at the historic Plano Station, which was once served by the first-generation interurban Texas Electric Railway, and now serves as the Interurban Railway Museum.

Galatyn Park station is a DART Light Rail station in Richardson, Texas. The station serves the Red Line and, during peak periods, the Orange Line. It is located on the eastern side of North Central Expressway (US-75) and is named for a nearby road, Galatyn Parkway. The station opened on July 1, 2002 as part of the Red Line's third major expansion. It served as the northern terminus of the line until December 9, when the line was extended to Parker Road.The station is adjacent to the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and a portion of Richardson's Telecom Corridor, which includes offices for AT&T, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, GEICO, Goldman Sachs, and CBRE Group. A shuttle bus connects to the Palisades office and residential park on the other side of US-75.In tribute to the Telecom Corridor, the station is decorated with a technology theme. The station's pedestrian entrance is flanked by two columns resembling abstract satellite dishes, and the station's support beams are covered in bundles of steel resembling communication wires. The station fencing includes panels that resemble a circuit board, as well as panels that spell "GALATYN PARK" in Morse code, analog signal, and teletype.

The Carpenter House, 1211 East 16th Street, Plano, Collin County, Texas, is a Victorian home built in 1898 for Col. Henry C. Overaker and his new bride. Three years in completion, the house was set in the middle of a former cotton field which was part of the colonel's many land holdings. Gibson Edgar Carpenter, a gentleman farmer, lawyer, and judge, purchased the house in the early 1920s to ensure his children would receive the best education in the Plano school system. Carpenter Middle School, named for Carpenter’s father Robert Washington Carpenter, is located on land formerly owned by the family. T. H. Williams High School is a secondary school in Plano, Texas (USA) serving grades nine and ten. It is part of the Plano Independent School District. In Plano ISD, high school freshmen and sophomores attend one of six high schools. Juniors and seniors attend "senior high schools". Bowman and Otto middle schools feed into Williams. Williams High School feeds into Plano East Senior High School.

Canyon Creek Christian Academy (CCCA) was a private early education-12th grade Christian private school in Richardson, Texas. The school served families in various communities, including Richardson, Garland, and Plano. It opened in 1974. In the late 1980s many teachers and students left the school, alleging mismanagement, harassment, and interference in student affairs by the school's principal, a relative of the sponsoring church's pastor. The school fell under mismanagement once again in 2008 when David "Dave" Roberts was named Head of School. This mismanagement would not be survivable and Canyon Creek Christian Academy permanently closed its doors on June 30, 2017.

Plano ISD Academy High School, commonly referred to as Academy High School, is a STEAM, interdisciplinary and project-based learning high school. The school serves students from grades 9-12. This school is not a regular secondary school because this school uses a selection process to draw eighth graders from various middle schools in Plano ISD. The school is an alternative to the regular high school experience by offering collaborative team projects, more STEAM classes and the ability to attend classes without structured class periods. This school is one of the three Academy Programs in Plano ISD. The others are the Plano ISD Health Sciences Academy and The IB World School at Plano East.
