Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club

The Lotte Championship is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It debuted in April 2012 at the Ko Olina Golf Club in Kapolei, Hawaii. The title sponsor of the tournament is Lotte, an industrial conglomerate based in South Korea and Japan. The presenting sponsor from 2012 to 2014 was J Golf, a Korean broadcaster. In 2012, the LPGA Lotte Championship was one of two LPGA tournaments in the United States presented by J Golf. From 2015 to 2018, the presenting sponsor was Hershey. Ai Miyazato won the inaugural event in 2012 by four strokes for her eighth win on the LPGA Tour.In 2022, the tournament moved to the Hoakalei Country Club in ʻEwa Beach, Hawaii.To accommodate Korean television, the tournament begins on Wednesday and concludes on Saturday.

Ko Olina Resort is a 642-acre (2.60 km2) master-planned vacation and residential community on the leeward coast of Oahu, 17 miles (27 km) west of Honolulu. The property is planned to be adjacent to the condominiums located on the Honu lagoon. Major events hosted at Ko Olina Resort include the LPGA Lotte Championship, the Ko Olina Children's Film & Music Festival and the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival. Ko Olina is a spot frequented by celebrities.Under The Resort Group's ownership, Ko Olina has created a $10B master-planned waterfront community, created over 5,000 jobs and generates approximately $2.5B in economic impacts for the State of Hawaii annually.

Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, is a beachside resort hotel at the Ko Olina Resort in Kapolei, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. Alongside Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort, Aulani is Disney's third "stand-alone" hotel located in an area without any adjacent theme parks.Aulani was opened to the public on August 29, 2011, with 359 hotel rooms and 460 time-share villas on 21 acres. A November 2018 report stated that, at that time, there were 351 rooms (in two 15-story towers), including 16 suites and 481 villas, most being "2-bedroom-equivalent." In an October 2018 review, it was noted that there were three restaurants with seating (Makahiki, Ulu Cafe, and 'AMA'AMA) as well as smaller outlets providing snacks, including the 'Off the Hook' poolside lounge.

Ko Olina Beach Park is a public park on the west side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii within the Ko Olina Resort Community, part of the City and County of Honolulu. Located at the end of several high-end vacation resorts, the park is situated between the man made lagoon and the Ko Olina Marina. The park's white-sand lagoon is one of four in the 640-acre Ko Olina Resort. The water is well protected by the reef, relatively shallow and the beach bordered by a broad, grassy lawn.

Makakilo (Hawaiian pronunciation: [məkəˈtilo]) or Makakilo City is a census-designated place and residential area located in the ʻEwa District on the island of Oʻahu in the City & County of Honolulu, United States. In Hawaiian, maka kilo means "observing eyes". As of the 2020 census, the CDP had a population of 19,877.

Wet'n'Wild Hawaii (formerly Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park) is a Hawaiian water park, located in Kapolei in the City and County of Honolulu on Oahu. The park occupies 29 acres (120,000 m2) of land and has more than 25 rides and attractions. It is currently the only water park in the state of Hawaii. It is one of six water parks operating under the Wet'n'Wild brand globally. Wet'n'Wild Hawaii was defined in the Makakilo City CDP in the 2000 U.S. Census but for the 2010 U.S. Census was redefined as being in Kapolei CDP.

The Daniel Kahikina Akaka VA Clinic (Akaka VA Clinic) is a United States Department of Veterans Affairs multispecialty Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Kapolei, Oahu that provides care for Veterans across the Pacific Islands.

AES Barbers Point Plant was a medium-size coal-fired electrical power station located in the south-west corner of the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Owned and operated by AES, the plant was the only coal-fired power plant in the state of Hawaii and was the state's leading single source of toxic pollutants. AES Barbers Point Power Plant consisted of a single unit on the grounds of Campbell Industrial Park, had a year-around capacity of 180 MWe, and in 2006 represented about 11% of Oahu's commercial electricity supply.The plant closed on September 1, 2022, as part of a state goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. AES indicated that the facility could be repurposed to burn biofuels instead of coal, though such a conversion could take years to complete.

The Hawaii College of Pharmacy (HICP) was an unaccredited Pharm.D. school in Hawaii owned and operated by Pacific Educational Services. After an investigation by the State of Hawaii's department for consumer protection for not following its regulations on non-accredited schools, it was shut down and its owners prohibited from running any business in Hawaii again. It is alleged that the college did not follow requirements for disclosure on not being accredited.

Kapolei (Hawaiian pronunciation: [kəpoˈlej]) is a planned community in Honolulu County, Hawaiʻi, United States, on the island of Oʻahu. It is colloquially known as the "second city" of Oʻahu, in relation to Honolulu. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Kapolei as a census-designated place (CDP) within the consolidated city-county of Honolulu. The community takes its name from a volcanic cone, Puʻu o Kapolei. In the Hawaiian language, puʻu means "hill" and Kapo lei means "beloved Kapo". According to legend, Kapo, Goddess of Fertility was sister to Pele, Goddess of Fire and Nāmaka, Goddess of the Sea. Much of the land is part of the estate of industrialist James Campbell. Kapolei's major developer is Kapolei Property Development, a subsidiary of James Campbell Company. Kapolei sits primarily upon former sugarcane and pineapple fields.

Kalaeloa (Hawaiian pronunciation: [kəlɐe̯ˈlowə]) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States. The population was 2,364 at the 2020 census. The community occupies the location of the former Naval Air Station Barbers Point, which was closed in 1999 and subsequently transferred to the State of Hawaiʻi. The geographical name, Ka lae loa, means "long point" in Hawaiian and is the native name for what has been called Barbers Point on Oʻahu. The area was known as Barbers Point because Captain Henry Barber wrecked his ship on a coral shoal at this location on October 31, 1796. In 1993, after the federal government listed Barbers Point for closure, the state legislature established the Barbers Point Naval Air Station Redevelopment Commission (BPNAS-RC) to guide the redevelopment of the former military facilities comprising John Rodgers airfield and 3,700 acres (15 km2) of land along the south shore of Oʻahu between the towns of ʻEwa, Kapolei, and Campbell Industrial Park. On July 1, 2002, the Hawaii Community Development Authority became the redevelopment authority for Kalaeloa. The former Naval Air Station runways and associated facilities are now Kalaeloa Airport. Barbers Point Housing is that part of Kalaeloa retained temporarily by the U.S. Navy for housing.

Island Pacific Academy (IPA) is a private, independent, co-educational, college-preparatory school serving grades K-12, with a current enrollment of approximately 550 students. Located in Kapolei, Hawaii, IPA was founded in 2004 and enrolled its first students in September 2004. IPA's team name is the Navigators. The school motto is "I Mua Me Ka Ha'aheo", which translates from Hawaiian as "Go Forward with Confidence".
