St Francis of Assisi Church is a Roman Catholic church located on Oxford Street, Paddington, City of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Damien Pignolet (born c. 1948) is an Australian chef who created the Josephine Pignolet Young Chef of the Year Award. Pignolet was born in Melbourne, Victoria. He is a second-generation Australian of French descent. He studied at the William Angliss College of Catering from 1966.

Disney Studios Australia (formerly Fox Studios Australia) is a motion picture and television production facility in Sydney that has operated as part of The Walt Disney Company since 2019. Occupying the site of the former Sydney Showground at Moore Park, the studio was created in May 1998 by the now-defunct News Corporation, later split into 21st Century Fox, which Disney acquired in 2019. The 32-acre-site, which is 15 minutes from the Sydney CBD, features eight sound stages, several production offices, workshops, and around 60 independent entertainment industry businesses. The studio has been involved in the production of numerous major films, including The Matrix, Moulin Rouge!, Mission: Impossible 2, Star Wars Episodes II and III, and Superman Returns.

Global Television is a large television production company with studios in Australia's two largest cities Sydney and Melbourne. It was co-founded in 1988 by Bruce Fink. They have been responsible for handling the technical side of most top live sport and entertainment events produced and broadcast in Australia.Global Television's Sydney studios are located at the Australian Technology Park in the inner city suburb of Eveleigh. The new studios were built in 2010, and produce a large number of Australian programmes from its two studios. Global Television's Melbourne studios are located in the inner suburb of South Melbourne and occupy the previous existing HSV-7 Studios. The four open studios are home to such shows as Dancing with the Stars, The Chase Australia, Family Feud and Fox Footy.Global Television also occupies the former ATV-10 Studios in the outer suburb of Nunawading where Neighbours is produced at Forest Hill.

Edgecliff is a small suburb in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Edgecliff is located 4 kilometres east of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Woollahra. The postcode is 2027. Edgecliff is surrounded by the suburbs of Double Bay, Woollahra, Paddington, Rushcutters Bay and Darling Point. The property prices are very high because it is close to the city and many homes provide views of Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour).

The Centennial Park Reservoir or WS001 is a heritage-listed underground reservoir at 3R Oxford Street, Centennial Park, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by NSW Public Works Department from 1896 to 1898. The property is owned by Sydney Water. A sign attached to a building on the site states that this is known as "Centennial Park Reservoir WS0023". The reservoir is adjacent to Woollahra Reservoir, which is closer to York Street. The area is enclosed by a wire fence but the enclosed area is accessible and in November 2022 a few people were walking dogs in the area. A playing field was marked out on part of the enclosed area.

The Paddington Reservoir is a heritage-listed public park located at 255a Oxford Street in the inner eastern Sydney suburb of Paddington in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Edward Bell and built from 1864 to 1866 and operated as a water reservoir which accepted water from the Botany Swamps pumping station for supply to parts of Sydney between 1866 and 1899. In the twentieth century the site variously functioned as a service station and storage and mechanical workshop site. In 2006 work commenced to convert the site into a sunken garden and park. It is also known as Walter Read Reserve; Paddington Reservoir Gardens; Reservoir Gardens. The property is owned by City of Sydney. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Juniper Hall, also known as Ormond House, is a heritage-listed former residence and children's home and now retail building and exhibition venue located at 1 Ormond Street, Paddington in the Municipality of Woollahra local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1824 to 1825 by Robert Cooper. The two-storey Old Colonial Georgian house was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999 and is listed on the (now defunct) Register of the National EstateJuniper Hall was originally the home of Robert Cooper, a gin distiller. He reportedly designed the house himself and had it built circa 1825, including a cellar and attic in the structure. Unlike most Georgian homes, it features an upstairs balcony, which looks out onto Oxford Street. As time went by, Juniper Hall became hidden behind a row of commercial buildings on Oxford Street. A restoration project was undertaken by the National Trust of Australia in which the commercial buildings were demolished so Juniper Hall could be seen clearly, and it was fully restored by Clive Lucas Stapleton and Partners in 1988.The house is currently being used for the annual Doug Moran National Portrait Prize exhibition, a rotating calendar of exhibitions by portrait and photographic artists.

The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) formerly Australian Film and Television School, is Australia's national screen arts and broadcast school. The school is a Commonwealth Government statutory authority.

Sydney Showground Speedway, originally known as the Speedway Royal and later the Speedway Royale but often referred to as just The Royale or The Showground, was a dirt Dirt track racing venue at the old Sydney Showground used from 1926 until 1996.

The former Sydney Showground (Moore Park) at Moore Park was the site of the Sydney Royal Easter Show in New South Wales, Australia from 1882 until 1997, when the Show was moved to the new Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park, which was built for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. The old site was then leased to News Corporation on a 99-year lease from the Government of New South Wales to be used for the site of Disney Studios Australia (formerly Fox Studios Australia), and is now part of The Entertainment Quarter.

The Sydney Football Stadium, commercially known as Allianz Stadium and previously Aussie Stadium, was a football stadium in Moore Park, Sydney, Australia. Built in 1988 next to the Sydney Cricket Ground, the stadium was Sydney's premier rectangular field venue for rugby league, rugby union, and soccer. The Kangaroos, the Wallabies, and the Socceroos occasionally played at the stadium, while the Sydney Roosters, NSW Waratahs, and Sydney FC were the ground's major tenants. The stadium usually held both National Rugby League semi finals and one preliminary final, and also held the annual pre-season Charity Shield football match between South Sydney and St George Illawarra for a number of years. It hosted all New South Wales Rugby League/Australian Rugby League rugby league grand finals, as well as the first grand final under the NRL banner, between 1988 and 1998. The NSW Government announced plans in November 2017 for the stadium to be demolished and rebuilt. The stadium closed in October 2018, with the last event being a Michael Bublé concert. Demolition began in early 2019, continuing after several legal challenges and becoming a major issue during the 2019 state election. It was ultimately replaced by the Sydney Football Stadium (2022) opening on 28 August 2022.
