Annekal Reserved Forest is a protected area in the Western Ghats of Karnataka, India.

Bangalore South is one of the 28 Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) constituencies in Karnataka state, in southern India. Currently the seat is held by Tejasvi Surya of Bharatiya Janata Party who won against B. K. Hariprasad of Indian National Congress by a margin of 3,31,192 votes in the 2019 Indian general election.

Jigani Hobli is located in Anekal taluk in South Bengaluru, India and is situated at a distance of 28 km from Bangalore city railway station. Some of the features of the place Jigani are that it has a well-established Jigani industrial area and also very near to Electronics City in Bangalore. Several such Government initiatives to improve development to this area in Bangalore has led to growth of population in this area starting 2004. Recently due to an outburst in worker population this place has made , Tamil, and Telugu as more frequently used languages. Companies like HCL, OTIS, APC, Toyota, BuziBrAIns, The Akshayapatra foundation etc. have brought more people to this remote location. It is one of the industrial areas in Anekal taluk, with others being Attibele, Bommasandra, Chandapura, Electronic City and Sarjapura.

Bannerghatta National Park is a national park in India, located near Bangalore, Karnataka. It was founded in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974. In 2002, a small portion of the park became a zoological garden, the Bannerghatta Biological Park.There are ancient temples in the park for worship and it is a destination for trekking and hiking. Within the national park area are six rural villages enclosed within three large enclosures for sheep and cattle farming. This park offers a wide range of diverse wildlife to the explorers. Coming from the finest of Bengaluru, Karnataka, this park offers a guided bus tour all along the 6 km safari roads, which is specially made for safaris and foreign tourist gatherers. Between 1995 and 2021, the dry deciduous forests in the National Park shrunk approximately by 44% due to uncontrolled diversion of forest land for agricultural purpose, urbanisation, etc

Koppa Gate is a junction on Bannerghatta Road where Begur-Koppa road crosses perpendicular at the boundary of Koppa and Harapanahalli Villages in Jigani in Anekal taluk and this is a busy junction with several small village shops, bus stops, schools etc. This junction is 30 km (19 mi) from Bengaluru railway station. The Koppa Gate junction is situated 11 km (6.8 mi) from Electronics City by Koppa-Begur road.

Gulakamale is a village in Bangalore district, Karnataka, India, near Kaggalipura on Bangalore – Kanakapura Road. The population of the village is 2,293 which made up of 1,131 males and 1,162 females. The literacy rate is lower than that of Karnataka and stands at 71.82% as opposed to 75.36% of the rest of the state. Out of those who are literate are 81.05% male and 62.70% female populations. Scheduled Castes and Tribes make up 51.72% and 0.22% respectively.

Gulakamale is located in Bangalore South taluk of Bangalore district in Karnataka, India. Two inscriptions are found in Gulakamale of which one is a donation inscription, and the other, a Mahasati herostone, a typology of herostones dedicated to women who self-sacrificed in sati. Additionally, two other hero stones are also found at the same place. Gulakamale is also famous for its lake, a birding hotspot on the city's outskirts. The Mahasati hero-stone inscription and the donation inscription mention a Gulakamari-Gulakama which today is known as Gulakamale.

APS Polytechnic is located at Somanahalli, Bangalore, India. It celebrates golden jubilee in 2008. The polytechnic was founded by Sri Ananthachar. Thottikallu is a place near Bangalore off the Kanakapura road in the Bangalore Urban district which is famous for a falls called Thottikallu falls, more popularly known as TK falls. It is also known as 'SwarnaMukhi' water falls. SwarnaMukhi translates as 'Golden-Faced'. The route at Kagalpura (Kaggalipura) off the Bangalore - Kanakapura road will lead to a place called Byalemaradadoddi, from where a mud road leads to the falls. The place also has a small shrine.
