Martinsville High School Gymnasium, also known as the Glenn M. Curtis Memorial Gymnasium, is an historic high school gymnasium located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1923–1924, and is a two-story, rectangular, steel frame building sheathed in brick and limestone with Romanesque Revival style design elements. It measures 180 feet by 210 feet and features angled corners with parapet, a main entrance flanked by square towers, and a mansard roof. It was named for basketball coach Glenn M. Curtis (1890-1958) in 1959.: 2, 6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

Washington Township is one of fourteen townships in Morgan County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 17,073 and it contained 7,171 housing units. The township contains a portion of the Morgan–Monroe State Forest.

The Crawford-Gilpin House is a place on the National Register of Historic Places in Martinsville, Indiana, United States, thirty-four miles southeast of Indianapolis. It was placed on the Register on June 24, 2008. It made the list due its brick Italianate structure being among the finest in Martinsville/Morgan County, and for being the home of many prominent leaders in Martinsville history.James Crawford, who had served the community of Martinsville as justice of the peace and built the first brick church in the town, had owned the property where the house was built since 1837; he was a "wheelhorse" who helped lead the local Whig Party into competitiveness against the majority Democratic Party of Morgan County. In 1862 he and his wife built the house, only to sell it later that year to Israel Gilpin, who operated one of Martinsville's first industries, a wool mill complementing the previous Martinsville industries of pork packing and shipping.In 1870 the Gilpins sold the house to a farmer named John Buckner, who in turn sold it in 1889 to the Clapper family who held it until 1926. Car dealers Howard and Doris Daily owned it from 1926 to 1930, losing it due to Howard wagering it in a poker game. It then moved to the Sedwick family until 1945, when it was sold back to Doris Daily. Since Daily's death, it has changed ownership thrice, most recently in 2007.The Crawford-Gilpin House is a two-story brick and limestone Italianate structure on a brick foundation. A carriage house built with the house also still stands. The Morgan County Historical Preservation Society has awarded the current owners a grant for fixing storm shutters and porch trim.

The Morgan County Public Library is located in Martinsville, Indiana, and has five branches in addition to the main library.

Blackstone House and Martinsville Telephone Company Building, also known as Cure and Hensley Mortuary, consists of two historic buildings located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. The buildings were connected in the early 1960s. The house was built in 1860, and is a two-story, Gothic Revival style brick building with a steep cross-gable roof. A Queen Anne style wraparound porch with corner turret was added in 1890. The Martinsville Telephone Company Building was built in 1927, and is a one-story, flat roofed, Tudor Revival style "oriental brick" and limestone building. It features a crenellated parapet. It housed a telephone exchange until 1957.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is located in the Martinsville Commercial Historic District.

Morgan County Sheriff's House and Jail is a historic combined jail and residence located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1890, and is a two-story, brick building with Italianate and Queen Anne style design elements. It has a cross-gable roof, arched openings, and terra cotta ornamentation.: 5–6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Morgan County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built between 1857 and 1859, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Italianate style brick and stone building. It has a cruciform plan and features a five-level free-standing campanile. Additions were made in 1956 and 1975–1976. Associated with the courthouse is the original annex or Sheriff's House. It is a two-story, five bay by two-bay, I-house.: 5, 9 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It is located in the Martinsville Commercial Historic District.

The district encompasses 75 contributing buildings and 1 contributing object in the central business district of Martinsville. It developed between about 1847 and 1947, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Classical Revival, and Tudor Revival style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Morgan County Courthouse and Blackstone House and Martinsville Telephone Company Building. Other notable buildings are the Martinsville Public Library (1906, 1990), Martinsville City Hall (1917), Martinsville Post Office (1935, 1974), Pitkin Building (c. 1900), Barskin's Department Store (1922), Indiana Theater (1914, 1927, 1939), Steven's House / Building (c. 1847, c. 1915), Hale Building (c. 1860, 1917), Interurban Station (1902, c. 1956), Union Block (1866), and First Christian Church (1891) and Annex (1927).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Martinsville is a city in Washington Township, Morgan County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 12,309 at the 2020 United States Census. The city is the county seat of Morgan County.

Martinsville, also known as the Indianapolis and Vincennes Railroad Depot, is a historic train station located at Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built by the Indianapolis and Vincennes Railroad in 1911, and is a one-story, rectangular, Bungalow/American Craftsman style brick building. It has a bellcast red clay tile hipped roof and measures 24 feet by 75 feet. Passenger service on the line ended in 1940, and the building was subsequently used as a freight depot. The building faces the Martinsville Sanitarium. The building housed the Martinsville Chamber of Commerce and currently houses the Martinsville Arts Council.: 2, 8 It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 (#91000268) as the Martinsville Vandalia Depot.

Hite-Finney House was a historic building at 183 North Jefferson Street in Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana. It was built in 1855, and was a two-story, transitional Greek Revival / Italianate style brick I-house.: 2–3  The building partially collapsed in 2003. It was destroyed by fire in August 2006, and was fully demolished in October 2009.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1996. It was removed in 2012 after its destruction.

Located in the district is the separately listed Neely House. Other notable buildings include the Martinsville Presbyterian Church (1881, 1900), Sweet House (c. 1905), Gum House (c. 1890), Hubbard-Gano House (c. 1915), Frank Oak Branch House (1916), and Francesconi House (c. 1910).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
