Mellish Road Methodist Chapel was a grade II listed Methodist chapel in Mellish Road, Walsall, England, built in 1910.The building was of limestone ashlar, with some exposed brick, and cost £3,600.In the 1990s, subsidence caused by the flooding of disused mine-workings beneath the chapel caused a significant crack to appear in its walls. It was declared unsafe and abandoned. An arson attack in 2008 further weakened it, and – after being de-listed – it was demolished in 2011.During demolition, its 50 feet (15 m) octagonal limestone spire was carefully dismantled and later, in 2015, offered for sale, with the initial asking price of £130,000.The chapel's records are in the Walsall Local History Centre.

Walsall Town Hall is located at Leicester Street in Walsall, West Midlands, England. The building, which opened in 1903, is used for a variety of functions including wedding receptions and concerts. It was designated a grade II listed building in 1986.

The PE department makes use of the sports facilities at the nearby Walsall Campus of the University of Wolverhampton. The A4148 is an A-class road in the town of Walsall, West Midlands, England. It serves as the town's ring road, as it encircles the town centre, and no road inside it has a number. Major junctions occur where it meets the A34, A454 and A461. Rather than a purpose-built ring road, such as the nearby A4150 Wolverhampton Inner Ring Road, the A4148 consists of existing streets marked as a ring road. Since 2006, Walsall Council has implemented a number of roadwork projects in an attempt to improve traffic flow. This included eliminating the large roundabout near the Arboretum which was replaced by traffic lights.

St Matthew's Church (formerly All Saints' Church) is a Church of England parish church in Walsall, West Midlands, England. It was rebuilt in 1820-1821 by Francis Goodwin, but includes remains of the earlier church built around 1220 and dedicated to All Saints. It is a Grade II* listed building, and on Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register. The church was rededicated to St Matthew when rebuilt. The church is the oldest building in Walsall and serves as the main parish church of the town. It sits at a high elevation above the town on a hill and can be seen when entering the town.The first Rector, Magister Serlo De Sunning, was appointed by King John in 1211. From 1248 until 1538 appointments of Rector were given to Halesowen Abbey. Since then, appointments were made by the Earl of Bradford and transferred to the Bishop of Lichfield in 1945. The east window commemorates Sister Dora and the stained glass is the work of Burlison and Grylls.

It tells the story of the leather trade in Walsall, charting the town's rise from a small market town into an international saddle-making centre.

The station is managed by Transport for West Midlands, and is the terminus for a large number of bus routes operated by National Express West Midlands, Diamond Bus, Walsall Community Transport and D&G Bus.

Walsall College is a further education college in Walsall, West Midlands, England. The college is the largest provider of qualifications for 14- to 19-year-olds in the Borough of Walsall. In addition, Walsall College provides education and training for adults, delivered both at the college campuses and on-site at workplaces and community centres. Campuses of the college include the main Wisemore Campus, and the Green Lane campus which offers engineering and construction courses. The original Walsall town centre site is now occupied by Tesco who did a land swap deal which saw the college relocate to its present site on land owned by Tesco and the intended site of its new store. Courses offered by the college include GCSEs, NVQs, BTECs, Diplomas, Apprenticeships and Access courses. Walsall College's sixth form department, V6 is a vocational sixth form for young people focussing on vocational skills and qualification; however it does not offer A Levels or academic study. Walsall College also offers its vocational courses through a series of academies, in partnership with businesses including Microsoft, Apple, Francesco Group and Roland DG. The academies include a gym, hair and beauty salon and restaurant. All facilities are staffed by students. In March 2013 Walsall College achieved an overall Outstanding grade in an OFSTED inspection, in doing so became the first College of its size in the UK to achieve this grading under the new OFSTED framework. In March 2018, Walsall College merged with another local College, the Walsall Adult Community College (known locally as WACC). Walsall College inherited all of the campuses and a majority of the staff, the previous establishment is now wholly a part of Walsall College. In November 2020, the CITB's training facility in Kings Norton was sold to Walsall College, with 17 staff also being transferred.Walsall College also offers a provision of higher education courses in conjunction with the University of Birmingham (through University College Birmingham) and the University of Wolverhampton.
