Klášterec nad Ohří (Czech pronunciation: [ˈklaːʃtɛrɛts ˈnat oɦr̝iː]; German: Klösterle an der Eger) is a town in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 14,000 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone.

The Chateau at Klášterec nad Ohří (Czech: zámek Klášterec nad Ohří) is a chateau on the left bank of the Ohře River, in the northwestern part of the historical region of Bohemia. It is in Klášterec nad Ohří of the Ústí nad Labem Region in the Czech Republic. The chateau complex, acquired in 1621 by the Thun und Hohenstein family, is a prominent landmark in the town's recently restored historic urban conservation area.

Domašín (German: Tomitschan) is a municipality and village in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. Domašín lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) west of Chomutov, 67 km (42 mi) west of Ústí nad Labem, and 97 km (60 mi) north-west of Prague.

Egerberk (or Egerberg, in Czech Lestkov) is a ruined castle near Klášterec nad Ohří. The name is derived from the German name of the Ohře river - Eger => Egerberg. The Czech name is by the village Lestkov, now an administrative part of Klášterec nad Ohří. First mentioned in 1317, the castle belonged to Wilhelm who first started to bear the attribute name "of Egerberg". Wilhelm was a friend of John of Luxembourg and accompanied him on his journeys. His brother Fritz was given several villages and started to bear the name of one of them - Pětipsy. The castle was then sold to the House of Šumburk from a nearby castle. In 1384 Egerberk was added to the property of the House of Škopek and Jindřich Škopek z Dubé started a large-scale reconstruction. At the end of the 16th century the castle was already abandoned.

Měděnec (German: Kupferberg) is a municipality and village in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants. Měděnec lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) west of Chomutov, 71 km (44 mi) west of Ústí nad Labem, and 101 km (63 mi) west of Prague.

Perštejn (German: Pürstein) is a municipality and village in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,200 inhabitants. Perštejn lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) south-west of Chomutov, 73 km (45 mi) south-west of Ústí nad Labem, and 99 km (62 mi) west of Prague.

Přísečnice (German: Preßnitz) was a mining town in what is today the municipality of Kryštofovy Hamry in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It was located in the Ore Mountains.

Okounov (German: Okenau) is a municipality and village in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Okounov lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) south-west of Chomutov, 74 km (46 mi) south-west of Ústí nad Labem, and 99 km (62 mi) west of Prague.

The Battle of Preßnitz (German: Schlacht bei Preßnitz) was a military engagement fought on 27 March [O.S. 17 March] 1641 during the Thirty Years' War. In the battle, Imperial troops under Octavio Piccolomini defeated the Swedish army under Field Marshal Johan Baner.

The Preßnitz (Czech: Přísečnice) is a right-hand tributary of the Zschopau River in the state of Saxony in eastern Germany and in the Czech Republic. It rises in the Bohemian part of the Ore Mountains near Horní Halže.

Velký Špičák (German: Großer Spitzberg or Schmiedeberger Spitzberg) is a 965 m high mountain in the Czech part of the Ore Mountains of Central Europe.

The Air battle over the Ore Mountains (German: Luftschlacht über dem Erzgebirge) took place around midday on 11 September 1944 between German and American air forces over the crest of the Ore Mountains near the village of Oberwiesenthal, above the Bohemian market town of Schmiedeberg (today Kovářská in the Czech Republic).
