Pestszentlőrinc‑Pestszentimre (also known as Budapest XVIII. kerülete; German: Sankt Lorenz-Sankt Emmerich) is the 18th district of Budapest and is situated at the south-eastern part of the city. It is made up of two earlier distinct towns: Pestszentlőrinc and Pestszentimre. The population of the district today is around 100.000 and this amount is divided between the two divisions as 80%-20%. The area joined Budapest shortly after World War II (see Great-Budapest). Budapest's international airport (Ferihegy Airport), the Hungarian Meteorological Service and the Central Atmospheric Institute are located here.

Gyál (Hungarian: Gyáli járás) is a district in central-southern part of Pest County. Gyál is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Central Hungary Statistical Region.

Üllői út (Üllői Avenue, lit. means "Road to Üllő", Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈylːøːji ˈuːt]) is a major transport artery in Budapest, Hungary. Üllői út is the longest avenue in Budapest. It is 15.6 km long and nearly perfectly straight. It starts at the edge of Inner City proper, crosses Small Boulevard and Grand Boulevard and runs as far as the boundary of the capital in southeastern direction, reaching the nearby towns (suburbs) of Vecsés and Üllő, the latter providing its name. During the socialist era, the avenue's name was Vörös Hadsereg útja (lit. Street of the Red Army) between Határ út (pre-1950 city limit) and the present (post-1950) city limit. Ferihegy railway station (Hungarian: Ferihegy vasútállomás) is a railway station on the southeastern edge of Budapest, Hungary. Hungarian State Railways runs suburban and long-distance services between this station and Nyugati Railway Station in Budapest city centre through Kőbánya-Kispest. It is located adjacent to the now-closed Terminal One of Budapest Ferihegy International Airport (now Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport). The Airport's Terminal Two is approximately 4 km away, and connected to the station by bus 200E.

The Bozsik József Stadion was a multi-use UEFA category 4 stadium in Budapest, Hungary. The old stadium was demolished completely in 2019. It was used for football matches and was the home stadium of Budapest Honvéd FC. The stadium had a capacity of 8,760 spectators.

Bozsik Aréna is a multi-purpose stadium in Budapest, Hungary. The stadium opened on 24 July 2021 and it was renamed after the Budapest Honvéd FC and Hungary footballer József Bozsik (1925–1978). It is used for football matches and it is the home stadium of Nemzeti Bajnokság II club Budapest Honvéd FC.

The Government of National Unity (October 1944 – May 1945) was a Nazi-backed puppet government of Hungary, which ruled the German-occupied Kingdom of Hungary during the Second World War in eastern Europe. After the joint coup d’état with which the Nazis and the Arrow Cross Party overthrew the government of the Regent of Hungary, Miklós Horthy (r. 1920–1944), the Arrow Cross Party established the coalition Government of National Unity (Nemzeti Összefogás Kormánya) on 16 October 1944.As the national government, the Arrow Cross Party installed Ferenc Szálasi as the prime minister of the Government of National Unity and as the Leader of the Nation, the head of state of Hungary. As a wartime ally of Nazi Germany, Prime Minister Szálasi's government readily executed and realised the Holocaust in Hungary (1941–1945); thus, in seven months, the Arrow Cross regime killed between 10,000 and 15,000 Hungarian Jews in the country, and deported 80,000 Jewish women, children, and old people for killing at the Auschwitz concentration camp.

The Kozma Street Cemetery is the biggest Jewish cemetery of Budapest, Hungary. It is located next to the New Public Cemetery (Újköztemető).
