Founded in 1850, the Arkansas School for the Deaf (ASD) is a state-run public school in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States, serving deaf and hard of hearing students through residential, day school, and part-time enrollment programs. The school offers preschool through high school, and is affiliated with the Arkansas Association of the Deaf (AAD) and the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). The school is located near the Arkansas School for the Blind (ASB) and both are administered by a five-member panel known as the Board of Trustees ASB-ASD. The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) classifies it as a school district.

The Thomas R. McGuire House, located at 114 Rice Street in the Capitol View Historic District of Little Rock, Arkansas, is a unique interpretation of the Colonial Revival style of architecture. Built by Thomas R. McGuire, a master machinist with the Iron Mountain and Southern Railroad, it is the finest example of the architectural style in the turn-of-the-century neighborhood. It is rendered from hand-crafted or locally manufactured materials and serves as a triumph in concrete block construction. Significant for both its architecture and engineering, the property was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 19, 1991.

The Railroad Call Historic District encompasses three adjacent railroad worker housing units at 108, 1112, and 114 South Pulaski Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. All three are single-story wood frame Colonial Revival structures, with gabled roofs and weatherboard siding, with some use of wooden shingles in gable ends. Two of the buildings have full-width front porches; the third has a half-width porch. These houses were built for workers constructing the nearby Missouri Pacific Railroad station (now the site of the 1921 Little Rock Union Station). The buildings were saved from demolition in 1996 and converted to offices.The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Capitol View/Stifft's Station is a neighborhood of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the west-central portion of the city with approximately 1500 homes. Roughly, its boundaries include the area south of West Markham, north of Interstate 630, east of Pine, and west of Summit, as well as south of Riverview between Park and Summit. The Werner Knoop House is a historic house at 6 Ozark Point in Little Rock, Arkansas. Built in 1936–37, it is a rare example of Art Moderne residential architecture in the city. It is a two-story L-shaped structure, its exterior finished in brick with flush mortar joints and painted white, with asymmetrically arranged steel-frame windows in a variety of sizes and shapes. Its entrance is recessed in a rectangular opening framed by stone, immediately to the right of the projecting two-car garage. The house was built for Werner Knoop, owner of a local construction company, to a design by the local firm Brueggeman, Swaim & Allen.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Julian Bunn Davidson House is a historic house at 410 South Battery Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is the only formerly residential structure in Arkansas capitol district, currently housing state offices. It is a single-story Mid-Century Modern structure, designed by local architect Julian Bunn Davidson for his family and built in 1951. It is a high-quality example of the modern style, and the only one in this region of the city.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Arkansas State Archives, or State Archives for short and abbreviated as ASA, is an agency of the Division of Arkansas Heritage responsible for the preservation of state government and historical records. It is also tasked with increasing public access to those documents which make up the State Archive.The State Archives also serves as the Arkansas Historical Advisory Board to assist public and private nonprofit organizations throughout the state in the acquisition, preservation and use of records of enduring value. The board receives, reviews, and makes recommendations on grant applications to fund state historical records projects through the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the grant-making affiliate of the National Archives and Records Administration.

Episcopal Collegiate School is an independent college preparatory school located in Little Rock, Arkansas established in 1998 under the name "The Cathedral School." In July 2003, it changed its name to Episcopal Collegiate School. It has a total student body of approximately 780 students and an average class size of 15, and the teacher to student ratio is approximately 7:1. It has a financial endowment of over $50 million, which was contributed by Jackson T. Stephens, his son, Warren Stephens and daughter-in-law, Harriet C. Stephens. Episcopal Collegiate School's colors are hunter green, white, and navy blue and its mascot is the Wildcat.

The Williamson House is a historic house at 325 Fairfax Street in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA. It is a two-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof, clapboarded exterior, and brick foundation. Its roof has exposed rafter ends in the Craftsman style, and a wraparound porch supported by simple square columns. The projecting entry porch has a gable with decorative false half-timbering, and is supported by grouped columns. The house was designed by Little Rock architect Theodore Sanders and was built about 1911. Photos of the house were used in promotional materials for the subdivision in which it is located.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Ross Building is a historic commercial building at 700 South Schiller Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a single-story masonry structure, whose front facade features five bay windows sheltered by awnings, and a high parapet with cornice above. A major extension to the rear is covered by a hip roof, and includes space historically used both by its retail tenants and as residences for owners and employees. The building was built in 1896–97, and originally housed a grocery store serving the area's predominantly German-American population. It has since gone through a significant number of other commercial uses; although its exterior retains many original features, its interior has been heavily modified.The grocery store was owned and operated by Charles E. Ross, who was born in Germany in 1846 and immigrated in 1871, until 1930. The name of the grocery store is not clear from any available records, but it may have been called the Chestnut Store; a chestnut was a popular holiday item in Germany. The building was occupied by a mattress factory from 1935 to 1960. It was then bought by Moise Seligman Jr. (October 8, 1918 – July 10, 2009). Seligman served in World War II including in the North African campaign, ending as a Lieutenant-Colonel]], and later served in the Army Reserves, rising to Major General, its highest rank. He commanded the 122nd ARCOM during the Vietnam War. He was on the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and served on the Wilbur Mills Highway Commission and later on the planning commission for the I-630, which began construction in 1969. Original plans were to run it right through the Ross Building property, but the highway's completion was delayed until 1985 due to protests about its route. Seligman may have helped influenced its final route to avoid the store. The building was renovated by Seligman's son (who died in 1973) into a pleasant home for himself and offices in the 1970s, and he operated an antique store there.It was renovated again in the 1980s by an architectural firm, Polk, Stanley, Wilcox Architects which occupied it until their 2009 merger into a larger firm, the Wilcox Group. The firm, in 2019, then as Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects, was renovating the Winchester Building elsewhere in Little Rock, also National Register-listed in 2019, for its use.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

The Reid House is a historic house at 1425 Kavanaugh Street in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. It is a large two-story wood-frame structure, built in 1911 in the Dutch Colonial style to a design by architect Charles L. Thompson. It has a side-gable gambrel roof that extends over the front porch, with shed-roof dormers containing bands of sash windows flanking a large projecting gambreled section. The porch is supported by stone piers, and extends left of the house to form a porte-cochere.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
