Oschersleben (Bode) is a former Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the district of Börde, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Oschersleben. It was disbanded in September 2010. The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oschersleben consisted of the following municipalities: Hadmersleben Oschersleben

Oschersleben (Bode) station (German: Bahnhof Oschersleben (Bode)) is a railway station in the town of Oschersleben (Bode), Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The station lies on the Magdeburg–Thale railway. Oschersleben station is the most important station on the line to Halberstadt. It was built together with the construction of the line to Brunswick. The southern side of the V-shaped station serves trains to Halberstadt and the northern side formerly served trains to Jerxheim and Brunswick and the trains of the Oschersleben-Schöningen Railway Company. The station building is located between the tracks and originally contained the customs and passport control facilities for travelling between the Duchy of Brunswick and the Kingdom of Prussia. After the division of Germany after 1945, the route to Jerxheim was closed and in consequence the northern side of the station lost most of its purpose. Until 1991, a few daily passenger trains shuttled from there to the border town of Gunsleben. In recent years a few trains from Magdeburg terminated on the north side of the station. Meanwhile, the tracks and the large reception hall on the north side are virtually unused.

Seehausen is a town and a former municipality in the Börde district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated on the river Aller, west of Magdeburg. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Wanzleben-Börde.

The Aller (pronounced [ˈalɐ] ) is a 215-kilometre-long (134 mi) river in the states of Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony in Germany. It is a right-hand, and hence eastern, tributary of the Weser and is also its largest tributary. Its last 117 kilometres (73 mi) form the Lower Aller federal waterway (Bundeswasserstraße). The Aller was extensively straightened, widened and, in places, dyked, during the 1960s to provide flood control of the river. In a 20-kilometre-long (12 mi) section near Gifhorn, the river meanders in its natural river bed.

On 29 January 2011, a freight train and a passenger train collided near Hordorf in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany on the Magdeburg–Thale line. The passenger train derailed in the collision. Ten people were killed and 43 people were injured, some of them critically. Initial reports of 33 injured persons were later corrected to 23, some of them critical. Around 100 rescue workers were at the collision site, which is about 200 kilometres (120 mi) west of Berlin.

The Hohes Holz (literally: "High Wood") is an extended forest area on the western rim of the otherwise open, agriculturally intensively-farmed Magdeburg Börde region in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt.
