The University Heights District is a neighborhood in Buffalo, New York.

LaSalle is a Buffalo Metro Rail underground station located at the corner of Main Street and LaSalle Avenue and is one stop from the northern terminus. Original drafting plans had the station used as a turnout between the current Metro Rail line and three proposed extensions; the Tonawanda Line, which would extend service into the cities of Tonawanda and Niagara Falls; the North Buffalo Line, which would extend service to Elmwood Avenue on an abandoned railroad right-of-way between Hertel and Kenmore Avenues; and the East Buffalo line, to connect the Main Street line with the proposed Airport Line, carrying passengers to the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport. The only visible sign of the turnout is located below ground by way of partially finished tunnel just west of the LaSalle station platforms. From May 20, 1985 to November 10, 1986, due to construction issues at LaSalle station, Amherst Street station served as the northern terminus. Since November 10, 1986, University station serves as the northern terminus.

Public School No. 63, also known as Campus North School, is a historic school building located in the Kensington-Bailey neighborhood of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The original section was built in 1917, and is two stories above a ground floor, giving the appearance of a three-story red brick building with Classical Revival detailing. The original "H"-shaped plan consisted of classrooms located in the wings, with gymnasium, swimming pool and auditorium located centrally. Northeast and northwest corner additions were built in 1925. The building is an example of a typical standardized public school plan developed by city architect Howard L. Beck. The school has been redeveloped as an apartment building known as The Lofts at University Heights. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

WUFO (1080 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Amherst, New York, and serving the Buffalo metropolitan area. It is owned by the Visions Multi Media Group headed by Sheila. L. Brown and it broadcasts a hybrid Urban AC and Classic Hip Hop radio format. Its studios are on Broadway Avenue in Buffalo. WUFO is powered at 1,000 watts non-directional. But it is a daytimer station because 1080 AM is a clear-channel frequency reserved for Class A stations WTIC Hartford and KRLD Dallas. So WUFO must sign off at sunset to avoid interference. The transmitter is on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga. Programming is heard around the clock on 35 watt FM translator W243DX at 96.5 MHz. It uses the FM dial position in its moniker, "Power 96.5."

University Park Historic District is a national historic district located in the University Heights neighborhood of Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It has 489 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 4 contributing structures adjacent to the south campus of the University at Buffalo. The district is exclusively residential, with homes built starting in 1913. The home are in popular architectural styles from the inter-war period including American Foursquare, American Craftsmanm Bungalow, and Colonial Revival. The contributing site is the overall design and layout of the subdivision and the contributing structures are distinctive entry gates to the community. Located in the district is the separately listed Edward A. Diebolt House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Edmund B. Hayes Hall is a historic landmark on the South Campus of the University at Buffalo. It is a Georgian Revival style building with an attached bell tower. It is named after engineer and businessman Edmund B. Hayes whose bequest funded the remodeling of the facility for university use.

Buffalo Meter Company Building is a historic daylight factory building located in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. It was designed and built by the Lockwood, Green & Co. engineering firm in 1915-1917 and is a four-story, reinforced concrete building faced in red brick. It has a fifth floor penthouse, raised basement, a large three story addition built in 1945, and two story office addition built in 1949. The building measures 284 feet by 82 feet. The building was built for and housed the Buffalo Meter Company until 1969–1970, after which it was acquired by the University of Buffalo. It was renamed Bethune Hall, after prominent local architect Louise Blanchard Bethune and housed the Department of Art. It is being redeveloped as the Bethune Lofts.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

University (formerly South Campus until September 1, 2003) is a Buffalo Metro Rail station located near the intersection of Main Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard on the University at Buffalo South Campus. It is a major transfer point between Metro Rail and many city and suburban bus routes and offers a unique "Kiss and Ride" facility on the top level, above the mezzanine. This allows drivers of automobiles a separate area to drop off passengers, so they do not add to the traffic congestion from buses at the station during rush-hour periods and a large park-and-ride facility directly to the east of the station. Since University station serves as a terminal, immediately south is a double crossover. Holy Angels Academy was a former all-girls, private, Roman Catholic high school in Buffalo, New York.

Middle Early College High School is a magnet high school located in the City of Buffalo, New York. The school opened in September 2004 and has approximately 305 students. The current principal is David Potter.

Bennett High School was an American high school located in the University Heights section of Buffalo, New York. It was named for Lewis J. Bennett, who donated the land for the school and for All High Stadium. Bennett High School formerly was a magnet school with three college prep programs: the Academy of International Law (similar to pre-law), Business and Computers (similar to information systems), and Education and the Arts.

The Lewis J. Bennett High School of Innovative Technology (formerly known as Computing Academy of Technological Sciences and C.A.T.S.) is an American high school located in Buffalo, New York. Opening in 2016, the school focuses on computer science education to students. Presently, the school is housed at the Bennett High School campus. The current principal is Mr. Carlos Alvarez, and the current assistant principals are Mr. Jamie Barden and Mr. Martin Buchnowski.
