Morfa is a district of Swansea, Wales. It straddles the Bon-y-maen and Landore wards and generally covers the eastern part of the district of Landore. Morfa is originally an old Welsh word for "marsh", not so much used in current parlance but found in Welsh placenames. The area is named after the Morfa copperworks which once existed in the area.

Landore High Level railway station was opened on 19 June 1850 by the South Wales Railway, which later became part of the Great Western Railway. The station was located on the north side of Swansea in the residential area of Landore. The engineer of this broad gauge line was Brunel. The line was later extended westwards to Carmarthen. After closure of Landore Low Level in 1954 the station became known as Landore. To the west of the station site is Landore Junction (Swansea Loop East Junction), which allows trains to run south into the main Swansea terminus. The line remains in use as the West Wales Line, between Neath and Swansea.

Landore (Welsh: Glandŵr) is a district and community in Swansea, Wales. The district falls in the Landore council ward. A mainly residential area, it is located about 2.5 miles north of Swansea city centre. The north-easterly part of Landore is known as Morfa. There have been a number of new developments in the 21st century, such as the Liberty Stadium, now the Swansea.com Stadium, and the Morfa Shopping Park, which opened in 2005. It had a population of 6,168 as of the 2011 UK census.

Landore TMD is a railway traction maintenance depot situated in Landore, a district of Swansea, Wales. There was a shed for steam locomotives here, and in 1963 British Rail opened a purpose-build diesel depot. Under privatisation the depot was operated by Great Western Railway to service its fleet of InterCity 125s until it closed in December 2018. The site reopened in September 2019 as a rolling stock refurbishment centre.

Landore Low Level railway station served the district of Landore, in the historical county of Glamorganshire, Wales, from 1881 to 1954 on the Morriston Branch.

Cwmgelli Cemetery, also known as Cwmgelly Cemetery, is a cemetery located in the Treboeth area of Swansea, Wales. The cemetery is listed on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales, where it is designated Grade II for "its historic interest as a small Victorian garden cemetery".

The Swansea.com Stadium (Welsh: Stadiwm Swansea.com; formerly Liberty Stadium) is an all-seated multi-use sports stadium and conferencing venue located in the Landore area of Swansea, Wales, hosting both rugby union and football. The stadium opened in 2005 and was named the Liberty Stadium. It had an opening capacity of 20,750, making it the largest purpose-built venue in Swansea; minor layout changes have since increased this to 21,088. It is the home stadium of EFL Championship club Swansea City, who took full operational control of the stadium in 2018, and the Ospreys rugby team. As a result of Swansea City's promotion in 2011, the stadium became the first Premier League ground in Wales. It is the third largest stadium in Wales – after the Millennium Stadium and the Cardiff City Stadium. In European competitions, the stadium is known as Swansea Stadium due to advertising rules.

The Landore viaduct is a railway viaduct over the Swansea valley and the River Tawe at Landore in south Wales. It provides a link between Swansea city center and the West Wales Line to the South Wales Main Line. The valley crossing provides a panoramic view of Landore, Kilvey Hill, the Liberty Stadium and the Swansea Enterprise Park. The Landore viaduct was constructed as a key element of the West Wales Line during the late 1840s. The structure, which has a length of 536-metre (1,759 ft), was originally designed by the famed engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and incorporated a diverse range of structural design elements and was primarily constructed out of timber. It was officially opened to traffic in 1850. The structure was first updated in 1889, using wrought-iron for the central span. Between 1978 and 1979, the majority of the viaduct was re-decked using steel beams. The structure remains in use to the current day.

The remains of the Hafod-Morfa Copperworks, originally developed by Vivian & Sons, consists of a core Grade II listed building and additional Grade II listed structures on a 12 acres (4.9 ha) site, on the banks of the River Tawe in Hafod, Swansea.

Brynhyfryd is a small village in Swansea, Wales mostly within the Cwmbwrla ward. The area is mostly residential. Brynhyfryd approximates to the area around Llangyfelach Road where it intersects with Brynhyfryd Road. Brynhyfryd Infant School and Brynhyfryd Junior School are the local schools in the area. Other local amenities include the Brynhyfryd public library. There are a few shops on Llangyfelach road and the area has a Grade II listed church – the Brynhyfryd Baptist Chapel.

Plasmarl railway station served the suburb of Plasmarl, in the historical county of Glamorgan, Wales, from 1881 to 1956 on the Morriston branch.
