Hum Tower

Hum, also referred to as Hum Brdo (lit. "Hum Hill"), is a small mountain located north of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At its top is the Hum Tower. In wider terms, Hum hill is considered as part of Sarajevo's Ozren.Most of the area has been designated as a park and recreational zone called Park Šuma Hum, and a number of sports and recreational facilities are planned for the near future. The very top of Hum offers views of Sarajevo, as well as the mountains Trebević, Igman and Bjelašnica.

Grahovište is a village in Vogošća municipality, near Sarajevo, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dubravko Lovrenović (30 August 1956 – 17 January 2017) was Bosnian and Herzegovinian medievalist, author and essayist, who worked at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo, Department of History, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Archives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (abr. AFBIH) is an institution that collects, preserves, protects and ensures professional treatment of archival material for the purpose of its use primarily in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but its archival fonds also feature archival material from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sarajevo main railway station (Bosnian: Glavna željeznička stanica u Sarajevu) is a railway station in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the northwest part of the city, approximately 3 kilometers from the downtown area near Marijin Dvor.

The Church of the Holy Transfiguration (Serbian: Црква Светог Преображења, romanized: Crkva Svetog Preobraženja) is a Serbian Orthodox church in Novo Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Originally planned for Split in Croatia, it was built in 1940 by Aleksandar Deroko and consecrated by Serbian Patriarch Gavrilo V. It was the place of worship for 50,000 adherents in the region. It is the only Orthodox church in Novo Sarajevo. During the Yugoslav Wars, the Church was heavily damaged, and after the war it was renovated. Reworking of frescoes began in 2004.

The National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NUL) (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Nacionalna i univerzitetska biblioteka Bosne i Hercegovine / Национална и универзитетска библиотека Босне и Херцеговине) is the national library of Bosnia and Herzegovina based in Sarajevo. During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the siege of Sarajevo, in the night from 25th to 26 August 1992, members of the Army of the Republika Srpska shelled Vijećnica where the library was located at that time. As a result, many of its archival and library holdings were destroyed.

The Oriental Institute in Sarajevo (Bosnian: Orijentalni institut u Sarajevu / Оријентални институт у Сарајеву) is an academic institute in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in 1950 by the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is part of the University of Sarajevo. but it suffered significant destruction in 1992 during the Siege of Sarajevo.

Novotel Sarajevo Bristol (formerly Hotel Bristol) is a mid-scale 4-star hotel that has operated under the Accor groups's Novotel brand since re-opening in 2011. The hotel is located at Fra Filipa Lastrića 2, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Avaz Twist Tower is a 40 story, 172m tall skyscraper in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the headquarters for Dnevni avaz, a Bosnian newspaper company. The tower is located in the Marijin Dvor city neighborhood, Sarajevo's central municipality. Construction began in 2006 and was finished two years later in 2008. The tower is notable for its twisted facade. As of 2016, it was the tallest skyscraper in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2009, German company Schuco chose the tower amongst the 10 most beautiful buildings in the world.

The United States Department of State opened the United States Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on July 4, 1994. Bosnia and Herzegovina had formerly been a part of Yugoslavia; the United States recognized the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 7, 1992.

Koševo City Stadium (Bosnian: Gradski stadion Koševo), also Koševo Olympic Stadium or Stadium Asim Ferhatović - Hase (Stadion Asim Ferhatović Hase) is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Koševo neighborhood of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its official name is Olimpijski stadion Koševo – Asim Ferhatović-Hase. The stadium was opened by the city, and leased on longterm basis by football club FK Sarajevo. The club proposed the new name for its sporting and football events, in honor to its former footballer and club's legend, Asim Ferhatović. It hosted the opening ceremony of the 1984 Winter Olympics.
