Aullwood House and Garden is a registered historic site near Dayton, Ohio, listed in the National Register on 1999-02-05. The property once served as home for Dayton-area industrialist John Aull and his wife, Marie. Today, the garden is one of twenty-five properties cared for by Five Rivers MetroParks. There are guided tours of the 32-acre (13 ha) gardens.

Krueger Farm Discovery Center), and a 200 acre nature sanctuary with 8 miles of walking trails. Aullwood Audubon is located in Montgomery County in southwestern Ohio, United States, about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of downtown Dayton.

Little York is an unincorporated community in Butler Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. It is located on the east bank of the Stillwater River, at the intersection of Little York Road and Meeker Road, not far from the intersection of I-70 and Ohio State Route 48.

Salem Mall was a shopping mall in Trotwood, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, United States. It was built in 1966 by The Rouse Company and originally featured Rike's and Sears as its main anchor stores. Expansion in 1981 added a new wing of stores and JCPenney, while further renovations in that same decade included a food court. Rike's was later dual-branded as Shillito-Rike's and then renamed to Lazarus The mall began to lose stores throughout the 1990s, including both Lazarus and JCPenney, the former of which was torn down for The Home Depot. After an extended period of decline, the mall closed in 2005 and was demolished in 2006. Sears, which was excluded from the demolition, remained operational until it closed in 2013. In 2022, it was announced that a large portion of the mall would become the new site of The Funk Music Hall of Fame and Exhibition Center.

The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) is a public career technology school in Englewood, Ohio. It serves five southwestern Ohio counties (Montgomery, Warren, Preble, Darke, and Miami). Prior to 1994, it was known as the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School.Students from 27 partner high schools attend classes daily in one of 40 career programs. Students from districts outside the 27 participating schools may attend MVCTC by applying for admission and then by adhering to open enrollment guidelines.The high school division is approved and accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as a two-year public career technical school. The division offers secondary preparation with in-school and cooperative education programs.

Clayton is a city in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. The population was 13,310 at the 2020 census. A suburb of Dayton, it is part of the Dayton metropolitan area. The city was named after John Clayton, a War of 1812 veteran.

United Theological Seminary is a United Methodist seminary in Trotwood, Ohio. Founded in 1871 by Milton Wright (father of the Wright brothers), it was originally sponsored by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. In 1946, members of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ merged with the Evangelical Church to form the Evangelical United Brethren Church, with which the seminary then became affiliated. When that denomination merged with The Methodist Church in 1968, United Theological Seminary became one of the thirteen seminaries affiliated with the new United Methodist Church (UMC).The school was known as the Bonebrake Theological Seminary from 1909 to 1954. Although the seminary is affiliated with the United Methodist denomination, students come from many denominations and are ordained by a wide range of denominations upon graduation. The seminary houses a Hispanic Christian Academy, a UMC Course of Study program for United Methodist licensed local pastors, and several houses of study for specialized ministry training. The seminary also has strong ties to the African-American church tradition, with a number of major figures in the American Civil Rights Movement later going on to become students or faculty at United. In recent years, the seminary has become a leading center for discussion of church renewal. It has also been named one of the fastest-growing seminaries in the United States.
