Johannishögl is a mountain of Bavaria, Germany. It is a sub-peak of Högl.

Freilassing (German pronunciation: [fʁaɪˈlasɪŋ] ), until 1923 Salzburghofen is a town of some 16,000 inhabitants in the southeastern corner of Bavaria, Germany. It belongs to the "Regierungsbezirk" Oberbayern and the "Landkreis" (County) of Berchtesgadener Land. Located very close to the German-Austrian border, Freilassing can be seen as the biggest satellite of Salzburg, the centre of which is eight kilometres (five miles) away, on the other side of the border.

Die Bachschmiede is the cultural center of the Austrian community Wals-Siezenheim. It was opened in 2008.

The Freilassing Locomotive World (Lokwelt Freilassing) is a railway museum in the Berchtesgadener Land, which is operated with the cooperation of the town of Freilassing and the Deutsches Museum. The museum is located on the site of the former Freilassing locomotive shed which belongs to the Deutsche Bahn AG and houses part of the Deutsches Museum's railway collection. The second part of the collection is in the transport centre of the Deutsches Museum on the Theresienhöhe in Munich.

Freilassing station is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Berchtesgaden. It is the last German station on the railway line from Munich to Salzburg, a border station to Austria and the only station in the town of Freilassing. The station is the junction between the Rosenheim–Salzburg, Salzburg–Berchtesgaden and Salzburg–Mühldorf lines and is used daily by about 160 trains operated by Deutsche Bahn, the Austrian Federal Railways and the Berchtesgadener Land Bahn.

Högl is a Bavarian mountain. Johannishögl is a smaller cone on the mountain.

Stoißer Ache is a river of Bavaria, Germany. It flows into the Saalach near Piding.

Wals-Siezenheim (Austrian German: [ˌvalsˈsiːtsn̩haɪm]) is a municipality in the district of Salzburg-Umgebung (Flachgau) in the Austrian state of Salzburg. The double municipality had been founded in 1948 of the places Wals and Siezenheim. In the same year the arm had been conferred. The population figure rose up from 1,000 inhabitants in 1947 to approximately 11,000 in 2001. Previous Wals was part of the separate municipality Siezenheim, but even so Liefering and a giant part of Taxach.

Schloss Klessheim is a Baroque palace located in Wals-Siezenheim, 4 km (2.5 mi) west of Salzburg, Austria. The palace was designed and constructed by Austrian architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach for Prince-Archbishop Johann Ernst von Thun in 1700. It became the summer residence of the Archbishops of Salzburg. Since 1993, the palace has been used by Salzburg Casino.

Piding is an approved climatic spa in Bavaria near to the border of Austria close to Bad Reichenhall and Freilassing.

Red Bull Arena (German: [ɹɛt ˈbʊl ʔaˌʁeːnaː]), known during the UEFA Euro 2008 as the EM-Stadion Wals-Siezenheim [eːˈʔɛmˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn ˌvalsˈsiːtsn̩haɪm] and during UEFA club football events as Stadion Salzburg, is a football stadium in Wals-Siezenheim, a municipality in the suburbs of Salzburg, Austria. It was officially opened in March 2003 and is the home ground of FC Red Bull Salzburg. Previously, the club played at Stadion Lehen.

Hangar-7 is a building in Salzburg, Austria, hosting a collection of historical airplanes, helicopters and Formula One racing cars, and serving as home for the Flying Bulls, a private aircraft fleet stationed in Salzburg. Hangar-7 is owned by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz. It houses the Michelin-starred restaurant Ikarus, two bars and a lounge. The building is airfoil shaped, constructed of 1,200 tons of steel and 75,000 sqft of glass surface. "Hangar 8" is the name of the maintenance facility.
