Saucon Hill

Saucon Valley Country Club is a country club in Upper Saucon Township in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania near both Allentown and Bethlehem. Its facilities include three 18-hole golf courses and a six-hole beginners course. The old course has hosted eight United States Golf Association (USGA) tournaments, including the 1992, 2000, and 2022 U.S. Senior Opens. In 2009, it was the site of the U.S. Women's Open. Five years later, it was the host of the U.S. Mid-Amateur. Saucon Valley Country Club is also the home site of the Lehigh University golf team. All three of Saucon Valley's 18-hole courses have made appearances on golf magazine rankings of top courses.

The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (PSF) is a professional theatre company in residence at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania and the official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.The Festival is organized as a non-profit 501(c)(3) in Pennsylvania. Each summer, PSF produces six or more plays (often including a musical) and special one-night-only performances. In the fall, PSF tours a Shakespeare play to schools as part of its Linny Fowler WillPower tour. Since its inception, the Festival has been attended by over 1,000,000 people. The acting company consists primarily of professional actors from New York and Philadelphia and who are members of Actors' Equity Association. The plays are performed in two theatres in The Labuda Center for the Performing Arts: the 473-seat proscenium Main Stage or the 187-seat thrust Schubert Theatre on the DeSales University campus in Center Valley. Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival is listed as a major festival in the book Shakespeare Festivals Around the World by Marcus D. Gregio (Editor), 2004.

DeSales University (DSU) is a private Catholic university in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. The university offers traditional, online, and hybrid courses and programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Named for St. Francis de Sales, the university was founded in 1964 as "Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales" by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. DeSales has six academic divisions: Business, Healthcare Professions, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Nursing, Performing Arts, and Sciences & Mathematics. It is classified among "Doctoral/Professional Universities".

It includes the main campus of DeSales University.

The 2009 U.S. Women's Open was the 64th U.S. Women's Open. Held July 9–12, it was the first U.S. Women's Open to be played at the Old Course of the Saucon Valley Country Club in Upper Saucon Township, Pennsylvania. Eun-Hee Ji won her only major title, one stroke ahead of runner-up Candie Kung. The event was televised by ESPN and NBC Sports. Na Yeon Choi shot a 68 (−3) in the first round to take a one-shot lead. Cristie Kerr led the way after the second round after shooting a one-under par 70 for 139 (−3). Top-ranked Lorena Ochoa struggled to a second round 79 (+8) and was nine strokes back at 148 (+6). The 36-hole cut was at 151 (+9) or better, which included seven amateurs among the 72 players who advanced to the weekend. In the third round, Kerr shot 72 (+1) for 211 (−2) and kept the lead, two strokes up on the field after 54 holes.Ji won the championship after sinking a 20-foot (6 m) birdie putt on the 72nd hole to finish with an even-par 71 and 284, one stroke ahead of runner-up Kung. Ji held off the challenge of playing partner and third-round leader Cristie Kerr, who was chasing a second Open title but carded a 75 (+4) and finished two strokes back.

Ehrhart's Mill Historic District is a national historic district located along Saucon Creek at Lower Saucon Township in Northampton County in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. The district includes nine contributing buildings, two contributing sites, and four contributing structures associated with a 19th and early 20th century grist mill.

The community's name is derived from the German: Friedenskirche, "Church of peace". Zinc mining was once a key industry in the area.

Centennial Bridge was a historic stone arch bridge located in Center Valley, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It was built in 1876, and was a 233-foot-long (71 m) bridge, with three 23-foot-long (7.0 m), horseshoe shaped arches. It crossed Saucon Creek.

Colesville is a suburban village located on Route 378 in Upper Saucon Township in Lehigh County and Lower Saucon Township in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Colesville is part of the Lehigh Valley, which had a population of 861,899 and was the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census. The village is located on the south side of Lehigh Mountain from Bethlehem. Interstate 78 passes through the village but does not interchange there. Colesville is split between the Bethlehem Zip Code of 18015 and the Center Valley Zip Code of 18034.

Southern Lehigh High School is a four-year public high school located in Center Valley, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is the only high school in the Southern Lehigh School District. As of the 2021-22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,053 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data. The school's mascot is the Spartan, and the school colors are blue and white.

Penn State Lehigh Valley is a commonwealth campus of Pennsylvania State University located in Center Valley, outside of Allentown in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania.
